Nothing unique, breakfast choices were very limited, one type of sugary yogurt. The parking lot was totally filled with railroad worker's trucks that may have been parked closer to the next door restaurant that was not open while their trucks were there. There is only a single treadmill in the exercise room, no bikes.mRoom was nice and shower excellent.

It would have been nice if you would have something online stating the pool was out of order as this was the reason I selected your hotel. I ended up paying a lot for a room because of the pool and spa only to find out upon checkin that it’s out of order. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.

I'm pulling a trailer and it was a must to confirm the property has adequate parking for this. Is recommend this hotel over others in the area. Good staff, good facilities and peaceful area.

The pool and hot tub were out of order. The bathroom was disgusting. The room stunk so bad as well as the hallways. We ended up leaving and staying at Holiday Inn instead right down the street. So much better!! Had to cut our losses with this one.

I didn't like that the area where you come out of the pool door that its too slippery and the floor in the pool room is very slippery but the pool was nice and my kids enjoyed it.

We didn't even stay. Room smelled like smoke lso bad we couldnt stand it. Comforter and sheets covered in stains. Had to plug phone in to call front desk, said they were full. Left a message for the manager and waiting to hear back. $165 hoping gets refunded

We arrived a little after midnight. Lobby smelled great and was clean. The young man checking us in was polite and efficient. Room was clean and smelled fresh. I love the switch from carpet to laminate and tile flooring!! That is a game changer for musty smells and ability to really clean things. I would definitely stay here again should I find myself in Souix City in the future.

The hotel smelled like a pot store. If you like hard beds you will love it. It was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood with a sheet over it. It even creaked like wood every time I moved. My room was also extremely small due to the elevator taking up a large chunk of my room. I don’t mind being next to the elevator. The elevator was very quiet, but the entire elevator space consumed a big chunk of my already small room. There was a small desk and tv stand crowded together at the foot of the bed. The only chair in the room was the hard back desk chair, so to relax, you have the extremely hard bed. It was clean, and located in a nice quiet area. They did have a variety of breakfast offerings.

Room was very roomy with the bedroom separate from the other areas, including a sitting room with a couch and desk. Everything was very clean and amenities were very nice. Staff was fantastic, room was very clean and comfortable. the only issue with the stay was a noisy fan on the exterior wall just outside my room. The fan ran continuously and the bearing was bad or something because it was noisy and annoying.. But over all it was a great stay

The staff at the Country Inn and Suites in Dakota Dunes was fabulous. We were stuck here because of a winter storm and they went out of their way to make us comfortable. One lady in the breakfast area made sure we had everything we needed. The lady at the front desk, Kim was excellent. She had to deal with people trying to check in, lost reservations, extra bookings etc. She worked the desk but also took care of laundry. We needed a broom and shovel to get our car out of the snow and she got that for us. Then after a full day she worked the restaurant that was connected to the hotel. She was the perfect person to have in charge when the storm hit. She never went home and was there to help constantly. I highly recommend this hotel especially how they handled this snow emergency. I see now the breakfast lady is still here taking garbage out and pushing a mop and it’s 3:30 in the afternoon. Staff have been working all day clearing the parking lot and sidewalk. Great place to stay!

Restaurant was closed on property. Missed Breakfast because it ended at 9:00. The information I received was on property restaurant and breakfast until 11:00. Very disappointed in the booking information. Don’t know who got it wrong but almost $150.00 in a Monday was excessive for what I experienced. Would not recommend.

We would stay here again. We arrived later in the evening around 845pm. Since the attached restaurant/bar was about to close we went there first to get a beer and a bite to eat. We were glad we did. The manager was very friendly and gave us advice on what to eat. We had the steak bites as an appetizer and we split the mediterranean chicken (upon her advice). It was the perfect amount and everything was very tasty. Our room was on the 3rd floor right across from the stairway. Not necessarily ideal, but could have been worse. The only complaint I have is the bed squeaked every time we moved and it wasn't that comfortable. The breakfast was filling with both hot and cold items. There is an indoor pool and fitness center, but we didn't use either, but they looked nice.

Country Inn Suites are usually pretty awesome. This location had a breakfast that totally sucked! I paid almost $200 for my room! The bed and pillows were horrendous. Hard as bricks and that's unusual for Country Inn. I hate to say it but its giving "Owned by Patels" vibes. They usually cut out everything amd dont give you anything of value for your money.
