Comfort Inn Dickson

Front desk man didn’t bother to stand or barely look at me when I checked in. When I came looking for ice maker, he stayed on his phone (sitting on lobby couch) and told me it was on third floor. I was on first. Friendly service mitigates third floor inconvenience, but there was none. Also, pool out of service. Not a biggie for me, but if I had children, it would be serious!

Good breakfast options and plenty of restaurants around at walkable distance. They have 2 Tesla destination chargers which charges at 32 miles /hr and other charging options.

Property entrance overhang was pretty beat up. Pool was closed. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The pool has been closed since April won’t be fixed till November. Horrible maintenance dead bugs in light fixtures in breakfast and lobby areas Mold in bathroom areas Our first floor room was always damp with high humidity levels and staff told us that was normal for first floor .the general appearance of building horrible , light fixtures missing in lobby outside landscaping neglected for months , they obviously had lost or don’t have a maintenance person , the orange juice in breakfast bar was warm and we were told the machine has been broke they would put some on ice if needed .there was one young man that was night time manager I think his name was Aiden he was very good and tried to resolve issues the rest of the staff was horrible and could have cared less. We were there 10 days everything in the area was booked because of event we were at so we couldn’t change rooms or facilities and it just made the stay horrible . I am not a high maintenance person or snobby or do I think I’m paying for a 5 star hotel but it was really bad . I do not understand how there is not some oversight from the franchise I will never stay in this chain again because of this and I feel I should be refunded a large portion of what I paid I paid over 200 dollars a night times 2 because I had an employee in another room and it was comparable to something you should pay 80 dollars for. I can’t believe Orbitz doesn’t do a better job of screening hotels they offer their customers.

Weather was good. Wish the pool was opened because that was the reason why we picked the hotel. Of the pool is closed they should put someplace in the remarks that it’s closed. Other than that the stay was good. I do want to say the people at the front desk were polite and very helpful. Thanks for the good stay.

I chose this hotel for amenities like laundry and gym. Gym is rickety and missing the poles to adjust weights and no cleaning spray/wipes. My main concern is laundry. Machines are 3 dollars quarter only each so 6 dollars a load. No coin machine and no change at front desk. Check in process and asking for help at front desk is also slow. Nearby gas station only give me 1 quarter and rest change in non quarters. restaurant change machine at arcade wouldn't take my money either. So have lots of quarters if you want to do laundry. Hotel appears to be clean. Food ok. The shower water also drains slow so my feet were taking a bath.

Pool dirty

Clean comfortable room. Easy access off I 40 for traveling. Refrigerator was super cold and freeEr worked which was a plus! Pool and ice machines were out of order. Night hospitality staff was not friendly or personable. Day Hospitality desk person didn’t Say anything but there was a very pretty black housekeeper that greeted us this morning. Friendly and personable. Promote her to hospitality desk. The guy the night before was more interested in sitting over on the couch with his phone. Breakfast was good

Its definitely not worth the money. I left my water bottle sitting on the nightstand and I had a couple ants on it when I came back. There was a dirty Dorito chip bag under the bed hiding so kind of hard to see.

The Comfort Inn was so clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

They had an infestation of lady bugs and we saw them in the stairwell and ceiling as we were leaving & had found 3 in our room including on my husband’s bag, in the bathroom and a smashed one on the floor. We were up on the second floor. The bathroom was clean but dingy.

The room was dirty. Stains on all the fabric furniture. Floor was dirty.

I have stayed in Comfort inns before and been happy. This was NOT the case. The room was dirty. The floor looked as it had not been vacuumed since many travelers. The blankets were so wrinkled and hap hazard i am still not sure someone had not been jumping on them. The bedsie lamp had rust falling off of it. The bathroom floor was littered with drywall droppings the size of sleet. The wall paper was falling off the wall. The shower did not even have a shower curtain! The tv had some kind of weird remote hooked up to it that did not work. I had to ask the desk staff come and show me how to use it, it still did not work. I asked about another room and was told they were about to be full so i could not be moved. The tv i would have to change by hand on the side of the tv. I was unable to find another hotel in the area for that night but i was for the next 4 that i was in town. I would not recommend ever. Wish i could upload pics because i did take some

Ants were in the room 117 and TV buffered the whole stay so was unable to watch.

our room had dirty towels still on the floor and had not been clean. They moved us to another room and the lock did not lock to the next door room. So they took us to a third room and said, if this one doesn’t work, you will have to use one of the first two. Third ended up being better. But definitely not an 8+ star hotel. Poor choice.

The staff was friendly enough, breakfast was fine, the rooms were a bit “stuffy” could of used more fresh air in the rooms, but the worst part by far was after 4 days of staying in the same room with 2 queen sized beds…I got bed bug bites all over the lower parts of my legs and a few over other places on my body… quite disgusting and disappointing… especially for paying the $120-$160 on weekends) …you wouldn’t expect such uncleanliness and lack of care for customers

It was just gross. I stayed in this hotel for one night on my way to my destination and then on my way home. Just because I have a dog shouldn’t mean I stay in those filthy smelly rooms. I couldn’t bring myself to shower with of my stays and it took everything in me to stay the second time after I knew it was stinky and gross.

Room heater not working.....Bed awful, hard as rock

It was an okay stay; the room got hot overnight since you can’t turn the AC down past 71 but also the humidity in the room made our sheets feel wet. Other than that it was great. Suggestion: put on website in there’s an extra $30 if you have a pet

When I first walked in to the property I noticed the ceiling in the entryway was falling in. This seemed to be prominent throughout the building. Paint was peeling everywhere. In the room itself, the shower had hair in it before we even used it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was as loud as a helicopter landing overhead and the AC wasn’t working. It was very disappointing for as much as the room cost.

Not a bad place to stay for the area. In need of some updating. It's a bit dated and worn but nothing terrible. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not have a printer available for guest use but did offer to print a document for me in their office. Breakfast was good.

Good beds, good water pressure!

Stayed on third (top) floor. Very quiet. No traffic noise from highway. Comfortable beds. Good bathroom Nice towels. Decent breakfast. Hot oatmeal and scrambled eggs and of course the standard Belgian waffle maker. Yogurt, apple sauce, string cheese. Like most hotels though there were not gluten free labeled items.

Not so good. TV remote did not work.

Hotel is in need of some major updates. We had a huge stain on our carpet. Rooms were stuffy when we arrived. The AC had not been turned on. We had a funky, stale smell in there. Beds were okay. For the price is was okay I guess, but I don't know that I would stay there again.

The first room I was in was dirty! I have pictures of the food and trash left in the room. Went down to the front and they moved to another room. That room,the toilet was broken I was told they had no one who could fix it till the next day. They never fixed the toilet. The room was moldy smelling. I was there for my sons wedding and this hotel was less than except able. They did credit me one night stay but I feel it should have been totally refunded. The did not have anyone fix the toilet. I had to go down stairs to use the bathroom. I was on the third floor. First room 322 and the second room was 304. Cameron the front desk supervisor told me he would credit me back but because it’s done through 3 rd party he couldn’t take action.

Conveniently located, clean and affordable. The room felt damp, but otherwise clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and checked on us several times in the self service breakfast area. There was a comfort Inn logo that kept popping up on the television every five minutes, and I could not get rid of it. When I called the desk, she said she would have to come up with a special remote. That would be the first thing I would ask next time I check in. I would definitely stay here again good value.

When we checked in, the front desk worker was extremely friendly.

They were unable to provide a receipt after charging card for one night stay after the lady at the front desk told me the incidental charge was $30 and I got a notification frommy bank that $114.36 waa charged instead. Be honest and provide a receipt. I do not like those business practices.

Convenient for our purposes, close to dining.

Comfortable and convenient. Easy to find and has an elevator for those of us with mobility challenges. Tidy and quiet made it a very nice stop. Breakfast was delicious.

Good location for our visit to the area.

Clean, on the beaten path, walking distance to many eating locations. The room we had was handicapped accessible and up to date. We checked in after 2 am and was up at 9 for breakfast next door at Cracker Barrel.

very good hotel, everything was good, nice rooms, good and clean bed and right on the interstate but you did not hear that. Highly recommanded.

The beds were not comfortable at all, the pool was not open and the food was just terrible, this is the 3rd Comfort Inn in a row that we stayed at and this is the 3rd time the food has been terrible. So far we at not happy staying at Comfort Inn.

The air conditioner did not work properly so it did not cool the room. The juice machine was broken so the juice was warm.

Great room. It was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The selection of breakfast was very good. Some booths need to be cleaned, In the cracks etc. the cushions definitely need to be replaced. They ran out of coffee. It was almost 30minutes before another man came in to make more. Overall it was a very good staff

The staff were friendly and nice. They offered anything I requested even if it was out of their way. The facility could use some remodeling. However, this hotel was worth the money if you’re on a budget. The breakfast didn’t have a great selection. This may be from the fact I had to get an “on-the-run” breakfast instead of being able to sit down with a plate. However, all I could get to eat was a blueberry muffin. The hotel next door had a lot of construction going on so it was noisy and unpleasant to look at. I understand that the hotel next door’s construction noise and sight cannot be helped by this hotel but it was still unpleasant.
