Quality Inn San Angelo

Property is a little tired - needs a major renovation; but for the $, not so bad as a 1 night stopover.

If you like staying up until after 2:00 am, then this is the place for you. Stayed 10/31 - 11/4. Thursday and Friday nights there was a party at the hotel conference center. Tried calling the front desk, phone in room, no dial tone. Called on my cell and no answer. No Security on property to resolve issues.

Cant complain too much for 85 bucks. But place stank bad. Couldnt tell if is was beer soaked carpet, weed or mildew. Carpet was moist like, hopefully had just been cleaned? Room was as clean as i think was possible...the whole place had just been used and abused. Ice maker was broke and pool abandoned. Dont really care but i expect this whole place to be bulldozed within a year. Although, i did hear that half the hotels in san angelo are the same.

Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The exterior of the building was clean. The parking lot was clean. It’s a little worse for Ware but then we don’t look for fancy. We just need a good, safe, and clean place to sleep. It is a little noisy being on Main streets when sirens and very loud vehicles go by.

The pool was nice, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is good. Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping left a little to be desired.

Attendant at the front desk was kind, and check in was quick. The hotel was quite busy but parking remained plenty even with my late night check in. Lots of people in the parking lot but everyone was minding their business. Cleanliness = Fair, nothing to keep you from staying. **On par for the rate**

Who was under construction and not available. Hotel is located in a lonely part of town.

Old hotel not well cleaned or maintained. The lady that checked us in was nice and the water pressure was good but nothing else to say thats positive about that hotel. Definitely wont be staying there again. The pool was drained and apparently under nonexistent repair. The first room we had was dirty and smelled bad, A/C was not working and the chair was broken and leaned up against the wall. Immediately changed rooms and the second was slightly better but still not great. I highly recommend staying at the Pearl on the Concho hotel. Its just as dated but they keep it clean and better amenities. Close to the same price.

This hotel was very clean and had a nice size pool. The staff was great! I would surely stay again!!

The sheets were stained the blanket they had was a curtain. No one bothered to atleast come by for the trash. The door to the room was kicked in at one time because the door Frame had screws holding the door frame togther. I slept with a chair in front of my door.

Property is very run down. The room had a bad smell (we had to go buy febreze to spray every time we went into the room. The shower dripped constantly an no Hot water only warm. Not worth the price we paid for the room.

The free breakfast is a voucher for an on-site diner that serves 2 eggs, 1 sausage, and a slice of toast for your voucher. You can order more for more money. A continental breakfast would have been faster and would have been a larger portion. The faucet in the bathtub couldn't be turned off and leaked constantly, which you could hear throughout the room with the bathroom door shut. The staff are supposedly unable to keep it fixed because someone immediately breaks it again right after it's fixed every time. One good thing to note there's a ton of water pressure and a high-flow shower head. Floors were moist, there's no better word for it, just mildly moist, and we all had dirty feet when we left. The TV remote doesn't work unless you stand by it and point the stand, and you have to switch the source with the button on the TV first. The door ran out of battery in the morning, and maintenance had to open our door for us to get back in to check out. The pillows are kinda poor but workable, the general condition of the room is ok, some peeling baseboards and such, and poor tile work, but nothing upsettingly poor. mild staining on the sheets, cough drop on the floor, some garbage underneath some things. A budget option, but below what I would find acceptable for even a budget option. Next time, I will pay double to stay somewhere else if I have to. The staff were very nice, no issues at all there.

Room had a musty stale smell when we walked in.....the telephone had no phone line attached so I had to use my personal phone...toilet seat was loose do to a missing part.....the duvet cover had stains on it....the water in the tub dripped all night this place has been in better shape than what it's in now.

The walls are filthy, there were multiple stains on the comforters and sheets, the restroom and the doors were very dirty. the carpet had what looked like a blood stain, and needed to be vacuumed. I Lysol sprayed the sheets and blanket, wiped the door handles with Clorox wipes, as well as the bathroom counter and all hard surfaces. I feel like this property has potential to be great, with some deep cleaning. The exterior had trash everywhere, and although the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, providing extra towels and pool towels. I believe what is really hurting this hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms.

Dead bugs and mold in the rooms. Entire place looked rundown and unkempt.

This would have gotten 5 stars had it not been for the random fire alarms in the wee hours of the morning starting at around 3 or 4 a.m. Otherwise the stay was generally pleasant. One other thing, however, was that the bed was pretty damn hard. Now I'm used to a firm bed, but it gives just a little. The bed I somewhat slept on was HARD. The room was exceptionally clean, and everything worked. Plus the management was gracious enough to allow me to get in to the room just a little early for me to have the time to get ready to attend my niece's graduation after my long travel to San Angelo. Thank you for that. I'll definitely consider staying there again.

Best place for the price. No frill from the outside but the interior was excellent for the price. Friendly service, clean rooms, comfy beds and the AC cooled nicely. Would definitely recommend for a budget stay. We will be back for hunting trips.

Quietest motel ever….no noise from traffic or other patrons. Breakfast was great at restaurant next door! Only draw back was tub was filthy- at first I thought it was stained but when showering I could rub tub with my foot and clean spots in it. And the freezer needed defrosted- was solid ice!

The hotel it’s self isn’t bad but the bed we had needs to be replaced it sinks In The middle of it, the room wasn’t as clean as it should have been you couldn’t see in the moor it was all streaked like it hadn’t been cleaned with cleaner just wiped with a cloth, our room was not cleaned during our stay and the shower head leaked when you ran water for a bath and got water everywhere

Facility and furniture was a little dated.

Easy Reservation, Easy Check-In/Check-Out, Nice Room and Quiet

I've stayed at this hotel en route to Austin several times, and it has always been a good value; clean, comfortable, and affordable. But it is an older hotel with some wear and tear, and my room last night showed more of this wear than have the rooms on previous visits. The air conditioner needed work, and the curtains didn't close all the way so as to block outside light. This aren't unendurable problems (I jury-rigged the curtains and the air conditioner wasn't so bad that I didn't get a good night's sleep), but I'd be more encouraged to keep staying if I didn't have to deal with them.

The air conditioner did not cool, room was hot, notified front desk several times, they were going to send maintenance. This was never resolved, we could not get our money back to cancel reservation. Front desk did not help an all, they did not care that we were hot, we asked to be moved, they said the were at capacity, we saw plenty of empty rooms. No help horrible experience

It was great the clerk was very accommodating I needed a room for handicap person she didn't have one so she called another hotel to get me in there she went out of her way she's very thoughtful I would stay there again.

After booking the room for 2 nights my plans changed where I only needed the room for 1 night, I did notify the staff within 30 min of checking in that I needed to change my stay for 1 night only. They would not refund me the money for my second night! I did contact Expedia and were advised that I would get a refund, but the next day the hotel GM told their staff that I could not get a refund! Plus the TV didn’t work, no hot water, dirty carpet, people had loud music outside, very limited breakfast. By far most uncooperative staff and worst hotel I’ve have ever stayed at!

Booked this hotel after diner, I knew I’d be pulling in late and this was part way back to Albuquerque. Upon arrival, the clerk insisted that I leave a cash deposit, he stated they don’t do credit card for the holds that it’s cash only. I had conveniently paid through Expedia, and they have been instructed that there are no refunds!!! First of all in 2024 who the heck is carrying around a pile of cash for hotel deposits?? NO ONE there is some scam going on there, so save yourself a headache, avoid this place!!

The room was clean and the staff was helpful when the tv wasn’t working. They came promptly and fixed the issue. The breakfast voucher for the restaurant was good.

The hotel itself wasn’t bad the staff, however, different story we reserved our room through Expedia app reserve now pay you at the property got to the property. My son-in-law put the room on his card so they debited his card and then turned around and debited our card as well. They have yet to refund the money they keep giving us the runaround saying it’ll be tomorrow or it’ll be 3 to 5 days. It’s been over a week, we will never use this hotel again or any hotel in this chain. Writes right and wrong is wrong personally I think someone just stuck the money in their pocket. Either way we got charged twice for the same room, every time we call it’s one excuse after the other they blame it on the bank or say it can take 3 to 5 days we’ve been going on over a week. The charge was caught immediately at check-in and still nothing was done so definitely not happy with how they handle their business.

Everything went very smooth and we never had any kind of problem with their service. Employees at the front desk were very, very kind and helpful. We are very satisfied!

Made online reservation. Drove around building at least 4 times looking for someone to help us check in and get a room. Knocked on office door 2 separate times. The third time we went to the office, (near 12:30am 9:28) girl came out. I did let her know how disappointed I was that we had been driving around and knocking on the door and no one came. She told me I had an attitude and why did I even want to start there if I was upset. She said she has been sitting there since 11pm. Yes, that got me upset. I let the front desk know upon check out and was told management would call me. That has not happened. I wouldn’t write this for no reason. This was mine and my daughter’s experience. The cleaning lady was nice. Upon check out spoke with Chris, he was pleasant as well.

I just switched a lightbulb from another lamp I wasn't using. The room was pretty clean. The only negative is that when I went to use my breakfast voucher, the restaurant door was locked, even though it was supposed to be open. The restaurant's opening time is 6 AM, and I arrived at 6:35 AM; however, a waitress and a patron were inside.
