Days Inn by Wyndham San Angelo

The property was under construction, there was garbage and construction materials all over the property. When we pulled in the pool was covered and and not able to use. When we went into our room the carpet was wet the TV didn't work the phone didn't work the shower blew water all over the bathroom. It was the worst experience of my life as far as staying in a motel. Constance bush

Texas Roadhouse in Parking lot, so easy to get to dinner after being on the road a long time. Google Map directs you to the N306 when you need W306. The pool was under construction when I was there.

Personally picked this because it advertised a pool but the pool was "closed for the season.." its July. In Texas. Kept asking room service for extra towels and at one point Housekeeper serviced room and took all the towels but not the trash and I had to search for someone to get more towels.

The hotel was overbooked, so we got put in the handicap suite which only had a walk in shower. The walk in shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor due to the shower either not being installed properly OR the caulking under the ramp needed to be redone… and we had to use all our towels to soak up the water after each use. The lack of a bath was very frustrating having two small kiddos to bathe. The pool was out of service, which was also frustrating having two small kiddos who were very excited to swim. The only ice machine was out of service. The tray with coffee, tea, etc in our room was dirty and had coffee grounds all over it like it wasn’t changed out from the last guests. There was an outlet plate that was coming completely off the wall and the outlet unit itself was loose… and was touching one of the beds. Definitely unsafe and a fire hazard.

The room itself was kept very impressively clean, props for the lady in charge of that. She is very sweet. The room pricing is very affordable. My recommendations as I observed that would help improve the stay experience for your future clients are as follows: 1.) Get a new printer for the lady at the front desk, that might make her job a little easier & help her improve her costumer service skills, I’m sure she is very sweet and friendly. 2.) I would also like to recommend (for room 208) to get a new desk chair. 3.) A new shower curtain that stays open & doesn’t close in at the middle could contain the water & keep it from making a puddle on the floor. 4.) It would be nice to know, and be directed to, the available stair case upon checking in. Since two of them on one side are not available. 5.) Upon arrival, it might also be convenient to get heads up that the laundry machines (promoted in the amenities) are out of order, same for the ice machine. 6.) I also believe that if the outside looks, and cleanliness of the amenities areas had a bit of a face lift, could improve the overall appearance.

Property is in the middle of remodeling. There is no pool. Breakfast was limited, but good.

Half the hotel was under construction. First room they put me in stunk and the smoke detector had a short. I finally got a room less stinky. No duvet on the bed. No ice machines ! I won’t stay there again.

Front desk check-in gals were very nice. Room was okay, except for one non-working electrical outlet. Hotel itself very rundown with two stairwells inexplicably boarded up preventing access, upper floor ice machine not working, washing machine not working, and common area trash cans not picked up. Yet while I was there they were sold out (no vacancy) so perhaps some people don’t mind that atmosphere but I personally would not stay there again.

Cleanliness, not much at all on continental breakfast. Pool out of service

BED BUGS. Checked out within about 30-45 minutes of going into room. Hotel also was dated and outside looked run downed. Went to a very much pricier hotel that I booked within Hotel.com because YOU CANNOT BELIEVE THE REVIEWS

Bathroom was very dirty, cleaned it myself also towels and bedding was also stained, bought new sheets blankets and towels to use. It was gross we will never stay there again

The facility smelled like feet and vomit combined it was visually dirty and not maintained. Possibly the worst place of lodging I have been in ever.

Our room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We found dirty towels from previous guests hanging behind the bathroom door, an distinctive odor turned out to be old urine caked on the front of the toilet bowl, floors had not been swept/mopped/vacuumed, and sink coutnertop was not clean. We chose this location for convenience & because it advertised a nice pool, only to arrive and be told it was closed and under construction. Our room had no soaps or shampoos, so we had to request them. The customer service was poor. We shared about the conditions, but were not offered a different room. We were in from out of town (obviously) on Memorial Day weekend when graduations & families were visiting their Airmen. There was no guarantee we could find another hotel in our price range. We cannot recommend this hotel with a good conscience.

It was really horrible . I don’t even know where to start . Bedding was dirty , bathroom was dirty .a lot of hair on the bathroom floor . The outside is being renovated but so many nails we were just fortunate we didn’t get a flat tire . The breakfast was so bad . I think they just leave everything out and the pancake mix was sour , spoiled .we should get a refund .

The front desk at check-in was very rude. Our room appeared to have some kinda water leak so it smelled terrible like mold and there was a shop fan in the room like they were working. We will not stay here again.

Need to clean the blood off the wall.

There was roaches i the bed

Room smelled of mildew, the shower was mildewy and rusty, toilet seat was loose. Black spots on the wall by the window. Bedsheets seemed clean. No bedbugs at least. No ice available. Mini fridge was moldy.

Room was dirty, ok so hotel looked to be getting remodeled. Beds and pillows were stained. SHOWER CURTAIN WAS DISGUSTINGLY YELLOW. Crazy we paid almost $90 for one night. Just driving through exhausted and it was just so gross. Never again. Spend your money elsewhere

Toilet paper to flimsy, smears doesn’t clean. Bath tub to slippery, I’m surprised you haven’t been sued

The room was available on time, Check-in was easy, Restaurants in walking distance, Some of the knobs on the lights were missing making it difficult to turn the light on. There was something red on the ceiling which gave the room an eerie feeling.

The room was nice and the location was ideal for shopping and dining, and there was a fridge and microwave in the room. The price was very reasonable! My only complaint is that the tv was not functioning properly. When I reported this to the front desk, I asked if I can have a tv that worked from another room moved into my room. This never happened. Fortunately, I had a laptop.

Facility was old, in need of some bathroom upgrades. Employees were helpful and quick with information though. I could stay there again.

I liked that there was a resturant next to it. I didn't like that it felt unsafe and the smell of the room

It was very good. Only problem was the water in the shower was not very hot. Luke warm at best. The shower needs fixed. Taking a shower, most of r the water come out the spout to the tub.

Hotel has no ice. Air conditioning loud. Lots of traffic outside of room most of the night. Each time someone parked, you hit the double horn honk.

The room had a slight musty smell to it. And the door to the bathroom needs to be replaced as it was hard to close as it was splitting.

The tub is extremely slippery. There is nothing on the bottom to grip to keep from slipping. Thankful for the bar on the side or I would have fallen. My sister was afraid to get in because she is having knee replacement surgery soon and was afraid she couldn’t get out without slipping and falling. Also, when we would turn on the faucet in the sink, it smelled like mold every time we ran the water.

Someone overbooked this location and they did not have a room for us. Fortunately, I'm considerate and called to let them know we wouldn't arrive until 10, because otherwise we would have showed up at ten with two kids and been turned away. Do better, Days Inn San Angelo.

I didn’t get to stay bc they overbooked rooms and took my money and put it on hold before I ever got to the reservation and now I have to wait before I can get my money back

Staff was very helpful and friendly

When I arrived, the lady did not greet me. I had to say my name 3 times bc she couldn’t hear me, and then was told I was yelling. She said they couldn’t find my reservation at all, even though I provided my itenerary number. After being on the chat/phone for nearly 45 minutes; the hotels.com resolution department was able to get the hotel to honor my room reservation. I was sent back inside to which the front desk employee would not look at me or speak to me. After a few awkward minutes she handed me the key and said it was upstairs. She was more frustrated than I was; yet I was the one inconvenienced. The room needs major upgrades- the top lock had screws loose; the top cover had a large rip and a smaller hole; the mirror had a piece that fell off; the shower head leaves a lot even when trying to fill the tub meaning water was on the floor. Definitely needs some TLC! Positive: close to where I ate dinner, close to where I was headed that evening, and I slept like a rock all night.

Check in was quick & easy. Right next door to Texas Roadhouse! Lol! It's a bit older, a little run down but over all safe & seemed cleaner than other places in the area to be honest. We slept good! The room did have an old odor almost similar to mildewy but we just turned the AC fan on to help. Stayed for one & it did it's job

It was not overly loud! We had great staff service at check in! Our grandkids were comfortable, as were we!

The staff was nice and friendly and the room was clean and everything looked good overall!

One thing in particular that I didn't like of the property was that the cleaning staff didn't know who was checking out. We stayed for 3 days, and the first day, around 9 am the cleaning lady asked us what time we were checking out. I told her we had the room reserved for 2 more days, and she said we had to handle that at the front desk because her paper said we were checking out that day. We went to the front desk and the lady there said that her paper was wrong and that we still had the other 2 days left. The other 2 mornings we were there we had cleaning staff knock on our door asking if we were going to check out. It got very annoying.

Made a quick trip and took a chance here...Pros: comfortable Beds,pillows, great shower pressure, within walking distance to gas station and some eating places.. Cons: Check in the front office lady was rude, did not say anything except to answer my questions, settled into room the TV didnt have a connection, the WI-FI wouldnt connect, morning of our check out housekeeping came to our room 2x asking when we were checking out. Kept telling them we wrre packing and getting ready give us a few, front desk person came up few minutes later a few min after check out time and asked when we were leaving told her we almost out of here we are packing last of our stuff.5min later housekeeping lady came and entered the room telling us we needed to leave i did let her know we are leaving give us a few minutes we are departing. She stood in the room basically cleaning the room while i get things together and finish brushing my hair. Felt violated and rushed. While she took the sheets off i noticed she didnt take all the beddingboff the bed. So be sure to make sure bedding is clean. We never staying here again

Located between IHOP and Texas Roadhouse. Exterior is run down, and interior is dated, but good value. AC and TV worked

These are the things that caused this review. Fire alarm beeping. Light in bathroom not working. Chocolate colored water running from sink. Ran for about 5 minutes before it cleared. Old furniture thrown outside by trash bin made me wonder if there were bedbugs but they were remodeling. Moved us to another room. New room:2 lamps didn't work. Asked office for 2 bulbs but never brought by nor did they ask us to come pick up. Old rusted tub & fixtures Tub did not drain after shower for about 20 mins. Ceiling patches. Had to Body slam bathroom door to shut/ force open entry door. Broken desk, worn out chair Dresser drawers broken. I wondered if there were chiggers as the need made me itch. Continental brealfast lacked bread for toast, no patsries, no milk for cereal, 3 apples. When i went to ask about these items, heavyset woman was on her cell phone & didn't acknowledge my "good morning!" For about 30-45 secons. Overall disappointed. Had previously stayed here years ago. One would think that since it's affiliated with Wyndham they would care about their brand. Reminded me of the Bates Motel! I was very patient but disappointed. Never again! Motel 6 might have been a better choice!

This should say it all, You get what you PAY for!...breakfast was ok, tween 6am -9am, it was simple waffles, cold and hot cereal, coffee and some fruit. From what I could tell They don't restock the breakfast items till they are all out. if you ask if they could make more coffee, the employee got upset she had to get up from behind the counter. Limited towels, carpet in rooms. AC unit STAYS at low setting. I DIDN'T like that they charged my card when I selected I would pay at property, when I let the clerk know she said they do things differently. Area was quiet. but would we stay here again? No we would not!

This property was just fine. Staff was friendly in the room was comfortable. Shower worked poorly. And only really waffles available for breakfast. Bet at the very good price that I paid for the room. It was not a problem to go get an egg McMuffin.
