My truck got broke in on the first night of the stay (and the only night of stay I decided to change hotel) My truck was parked in front of the front door of the hotel. The lock of my truck got damaged and the theft not only broke into my truck he even had time to open the tailgate of my truck and remove not just one but both of the taillights of my truck. The manager til this date hasn't even had the courtesy of returning my calls or to send my an email. Apparently she is the only person that has access to the video footage and she hasn’t share it with me. There were 2 cameras pointing to my truck so the whole robbery should be on camera. I’m not the kind of person that complains on small things or big things, always try to understand the staff or other people, I work with customers and customer service is normally part of the job, at the end of the day we are all humans have bad and good days. But this time I think I need to speak up and let everybody be aware! yes is a parking lot (inside the hotel property) and yes don’t leave objects inside the vehicle, but being this a great hotel brand and being a good quiet neighborhood I would expect more from the hotel or the hotel manager. I hope this helps your future stays and have a better experience than the one I had

Rooms were clean and comfy. Only reasons I’m giving them a 1 star is are the following. Elevadores only one working took us like 36 min just to get the elevator since they only have 1 working. 2nd my car was broken in to, and I wasn’t the only car get broken into. This place is not safe for your vehicles. Be careful with your cars. Had to get police report just for my insurance to be able to fix the damages made to my truck. It cheap to stay but you run the luck of getting your car broken into. Since they said it’s been and issue they have lately there.

Staff were very friendly at check in. We did wait quite awhile to receive additional shower towels (only had 2 for 4 guests originally). Breakfast was good with extremely limited seated. Ended up in the hallway on a bench. One elevator was out of service during our stay and the other one broke in the morning, which made checking out from our 5th floor room a pain. Rooms were clean and modern, gym and pool were also nice.

We had a lot of issues with things being broken. There was hair all over the floor. They ran out of wash clothes. Elevator was broken. There was only 1 working elevator for the entire hotel. And that one was pretty shaky as well. Pros: it was an 11 minute drive from six flags. The staff for sure. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful. She “upgraded our room” even though it was the same room on a different floor. I do appreciate the effort. The breakfast was decent and saved us a couple pennies. It was one of the cheapest hotels I could find so I’m not terribly surprised. I would only go back if I were pressed for cash and this was the only option.

The condition of the hotel is not great right now. They are undergoing much needed renovations, but it is affecting the quality of the stay. For the most part, the customer service was excellent. There are definitely new crew members and it shows, but all in all the customer service is what saved this stay. The room is not up to par for the cost of the hotel. The room did not have outlets available near the bedside shelves. I was able to maneuver the shelf off the wall a bit to access the outlet, but it was cumbersome and not a good option. The shower would not drain even after a service request was put in. The toilet had to be repaired, as well. We had to request towels and coffee each time after housekeeping was completed. The "bar" was not stocked at all - no real choices. There was no whiskey.bourbon available and the employees stated that they had to get multiple management level approvals before any could be ordered. We were there for four nights and no one would be able to order a bottle in that amount of time. Minor inconvenience, but it is what matters to me and I take notice. I travel quite a bit for work, and this was personal so I wanted to enjoy it a bit more that I was able to.

We have stayed at this property several times and this stay was much less enjoyable. The breakfast which used to be extra special was substandard this time with hot items being cold (used microwave to warm foods) and no variety from day to day. The bar had no wine or beer or any liquor to speak of. The ice machine continued to be broken. The vacant room next door had a broken fire alarm that continued to go off until it was yanked out of the wall at 11:00 at night. So disappointed this time. Guess we will look for another hotel when we go to San Antonio. Sad.

The only problem we had was the fact that there were only 2 elevators and one was out of service. This caused delays with everyone trying to use the only working elevator. At one point, the only working elevator was also down so we had to go up and the stairs to the fifth floor.

We’ve stayed her many times no problem. They’re upgraded and we were told that the room we were in was an upgraded room. They told us to let them know how everything went, we checked in at midnight. We literally went in the room and to bed, we wake and shower. The covers were pulled when I noticed dried old blood on the comforter. When we left I asked to speak to manager, I explained everything even showed her pictures. The manager was adamant that her workers would “never” leave the comforter like that. Manager continues to say that she walks through every room and checks them herself. This blood was literally on the corner of the comforter very easily to tuck and miss. In the end she agreed to half off the room, I’m thankful for that.

The lobby and hallways and rooms were clean, but when i went Into the bathroom there was pubic hairs laying in the shower everywhere. The shower ceiling had mold growing in the corner. The pool has mold/algae of some sort growing on the stairs. Other than that the people that worked there were so sweet and helpful.

I haven't had a room this bad/outdated since the early 2000's. There were bugs in our room (pictures attached), they didn't clean the room, and the sheets on our bed were dirty, crunchy and hard. Sheets honestly crunched liked paper. Absolutely no comfort. I meant to take a picture of the shower but it reminded me of a motel, or what I imagine a shower at a motel would look like. Mold stains in the shower and around the room in general. Room was very worn down and honestly shouldn't be offered to anyone else- I asked to switch rooms and was told there weren't any other options.

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Place! Our room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and always helpful. They responded quickly with any and all requests we had! Even though the hotel was completely booked and our room was next to the elevator our stay was quiet. The daily happy hour was nice. Breakfast could use a few more options and seating area but was otherwise ok. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Very beautiful room. The air conditioner was really loud and changed pitch all the time so it was hard to sleep. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. The manager was very friendly.

Thursday night. There must be outdoor karaoke open mic or something. Signing lasted until 11pm. Received a message saying my room is ready around 12:30, went there at 1:30 or something and was asked to charge early check in $15. I guess I had no choice but due to their credit card machine issue, charged $15 two times on two separate card. I hope only one of th charge stays.

My check-out experience was very disappointing. The front desk lady who assisted me was rude, unprofessional, and made me feel very uncomfortable. Her attitude came across as discriminatory, which left me with a very negative impression of this hotel. A guest should always feel respected and welcomed, and unfortunately that was not the case here.

I called for an early check in and was told the room was ready. When we arrived I was told the Internet was down and we could not check in, come back around 3, which was regular check in time. We came back at 3 and were told the Internet was still down and we could not check in. Apparently it was a city wide provider issue. However, the staff was not able to get us into a room. I find it hard to believe that Hyatt has no back up plan for this sort of problem. They could not cancel our reservation either. We went around the corner to another hotel, that did not have Internet either, but they had no problem getting us into a room.

Rooms were spacious however did not care for all the noise in the hallway. Staff was not mindful of guests still sleeping early in the morning, defeats the purpose of a noon check out. I was also called late at night on check out day to see if I was still in the property. I rented 3 rooms and all were checked out before noon. Front desk clerk was not attentive and carried on with her conversation with another staff member so I am sure she missed I was checking out 3 rooms.

While you can tell the hotel is a lot older and remodled, it is still very spacious and the staff is amazing. The breakfast is a full breakfast with a lot of variety. There are a lot of fun and delicious restaurants nearby.

Pleasant stay. Accommodation were clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly & professional. Excellent central location to most everything in San Antonio. If traveling with a pet right across the street is a pet park/bar for entertainment and exercise for your pet.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and mostly well maintained. It was easy in and out of the property and close to restaurants and attractions. Easy parking. Breakfast was provided as well as a happy hour. However, the room number is missing on the outer wall and maintenance had to put the blackout screen back up when it fell down on day 1 of our 4 day stay. Also, there is a brewery with live music next to the property that can be noisy until late at night.

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Place! Our room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and always helpful. They responded quickly with any and all requests we had! Even though the hotel was completely booked and our room was next to the elevator our stay was quiet. The daily happy hour was nice. Breakfast could use a few more options and seating area but was otherwise ok. We would definitely consider staying here again.

When we arrived our rooms were not ready and had to wait. Our toilet in the room was not working and we had to ask for towels twice because our room didnt have enough. The second day our room was serviced but no towels were replaced. The breakfast buffet was not what it shows online. The website shows a restaurant and when I arrived was told no restaurant on site.

Overall a great, newly renovated property. Clean, spacious rooms. No issue with the room. However, we have stayed at many Hyatt Place properties and their breakfast was the main reason we chose Hyatt over some other competitors. Sadly this Hyatt was disappointing. They used paper plates and the selection was poor. Definitely wish they would do a bit better about that.
