The area could use an update but don’t let that stop you from staying here. Friendly staff, good breakfast, free parking with security, and a free shuttle . Room was clean with comfortable beds and the gym was more than what I was expecting.

Room was comfortable, but they only have 1 small elevator which takes forever because cleaning staff use it as well. And no parking on the weekends. Otherwise , great for the price.

Avoid at all cost!! Both elevators were broken when we showed up to check in. Hotel was not transparent about the broken elevators. In addition, they were going to shut off water for the entire day. Never encountered such a bad hotel before.

We loved the free shuttle service. Not only will they pick up from the airport but they provide free service to downtown San Antonio. Very convenient & timely. Breakfast was a good variety of hot & cold items.. Cookies in the late afternoon. ALL of the staff were very friendly & helpful. We stayed for a week.

Was great until we came back on the third night to roaches in the room. Checked out on a Saturday night and drove 9 hours back home rather than stay and be grossed out. It’s been 5 days, and the hotel manager still hasn’t contacted me.

They don’t do the cleaning, if you plan to stay to rest, forget it, you will need to do your own bed and take your trash off from the room. I don’t understand why hotels continue doing this, I went with my kids and you can imagine all the mess in the room, after a long day visiting the city, you returned to a room that is not clean, we even asked in the front desk that please help us at least with the beds and they just ignored our request, just for that I will not return no that hotel.

We stayed 2 nights, the room was not cleaned after the first night. That’s not acceptable. Also my wife had to clean the toilet at our arrival as it had some dried up feces which leaves much to be desired.

This hotel needs upgrading really bad, it wasnt cleaned very well, i always double clean any place i stay but i had to do extra with this place. The funiture is out dated as well i just wasnt comfortable, the pillows were extremely soft to the point where my neck was hurting. I will never stay here again

The hotel was clean and, for the most part, comfortable with the exception of a few things; the water in the shower never got hot, only lukewarm, the bathroom floor tile needed re-grouting, and some repairs around the shower were messy looking. My main issue was that we were charged for a full night stay when we hadn’t stayed that night because our flight was cancelled due to weather. We explained that we had no control over our flights and wouldn’t be able to check in until the next day. The hotel refused to allow us to adjust our reservation and when we showed up the next day (as we told the hotel when we would be there), they had cancelled our entire reservation and charged us more money to create a new reservation for the rest of our stay.

The shower at this place did not had hot water. We called the front desk to report it. They sent maintenance but he didn’t fix it. We also asked them to clean the room but they never did. I will not recommend this hotel

This hotel is in a great location and has everything you need for a local stay in San Antonio. All of the front desk staff, especially Brynn were so nice and helpful. The breakfast was always hot and fresh. The rooms are a bit dated, especially the bathrooms, but they were decent. Would definitely stay again.

It wasn’t near downtown but it has a shuttle that takes you to the heart of downtown with consistent drop offs and pick ups. Shuttle even goes to the airport. Has a daily hot breakfast that was good and convenient. Executive king room was large, with a separate sitting area with television. The room felt like an apartment, not just one room. Staff was very helpful and the hotel has an overall clean feel. Would definitely book again and highly recommend. Budget friendly with a hint of luxury. The bedding was luxurious! Crisp white, down bedding and sheets.

The room was amazing I like how the bed area is separate from the living area we don’t see that much anymore. Everything was neat, front desk clerk was friendly and kind. The breakfast was superb though the lobby was full of visitors haha but it was an awesome stay!

The thermostat takes a while to cool the room down, it’s consistent at 75 degrees. Shower curtain was placed too high so water drips on the bathroom floor. If you stayed in the lower level you get to be awaken by loud thump from higher floors.

Super convenient for a solo traveler to the marathon. Easy walk to/from both start and finish. Monica at the front desk kindly arranged a late checkout so I could shower after the race, AND sent a maintenance rep with fresh battery for the thermostat when it wasn’t working on arrival. Friendly staff, clean facilities, good location. No complaints!! Only lost stars for facilities (dead bolt didn’t work properly and gym door dysfunction) and local area (slight freeway noise, construction). But overall outstanding

We were looking for hotel to stay at to visit the river walk/downtown/market square that didnt break the bank, didnt charge extra for parking, and that was clean and nice. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. Affordable for us, but still clean and comfortable, easy to navigate to in my larger truck, free (and easy) parking, walking distance to both market square and the river walk. Staff was fantastic and friendly (I was not familier with the area so they were very informative and helpful). The area felt safe enough to walk to the riverwalk at night, lots of people still walking around even at 10pm. And if you dont feel like walking, they offer a free shuttle service that we utilized the 2nd night after a long day. I wouldn't call this a luxury hotel, there are plenty of those on the river walk, but if your looking for an affordable, clean, friendly, accessible and well located hotel to visit downtown, this is the one.

Staff friendly. Bed comfortable. Reason I picked is free parking. I hate waiting on valet to get my car. Would give higher score if the fire alarm hadn’t gone off twice waking us up. Never got explanation. Also we stayed Friday and Saturday. No one emptied trash or made beds or supplied clean towels. This isn’t cheap hotel. Road construction nearby made it difficult to get around town.

I like it wasn’t far from the concert venue that me and my friends were going . My only concern was that there was construction downtown so it was kinda difficult getting in and out the hotel, but that wasn’t hotel fault. The hotel provided good service during our stay.

Weekend family trip. Walking distance to many downtown attractions. Hotel offers a shuttle service to the Riverwalk or its about a 12-15 min walk from hotel. Room was very comfortable, friendly staff, good complimentary breakfast (hot food), and overall hotel appearance was nice. There is also a small HEB Market about a block away if you need to pick up anything for a weekend stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

We had a good experience staying in Fairfield Inn. Hotel was not super new but very clean and mantained. Staff was very friendly. Hotel parking was free and was about a 20-ish walk towards the river walk. Many options at a walking distance close to the hotel. Or you could rent yourself a VEO or BIRD scooter to get to places. Would definitely consider staying again.

The hotel is convenient and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent - eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, milk, breads, cereals, juices and coffee. The veggie sausage is very good. Convenient to downtown and restaurants.
