This property is well off the beaten path. If you are looking to be away from the main downtown area, this would be fine. If you are wanting to enjoy all that the Riverwalk has to offer then I would suggest staying closer. While it is on the river walk it is a good 10-15 minute walk to the main area. Colorful yet no frills. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The room was clean, but the property needs a little sprucing up with paint and reorganizing. Feral cats everywhere, which this property embraces. So wonderful that the cats have food and water, but if this is not your for you be warned. Not luxury by any means, but a good hotel.

I chose this hotel because of a visit from about 16 years ago. While the property was clean, I had to keep requesting towels and toiletries from housekeeping which should be replenished daily. They removed all microwaves from individual rooms and placed one in the hall for each floor which is an inconvenience. The quality of the hotel has diminished from previous years. The staff wasn’t bad, most were friendly. And expensive parking cost with limited parking spaces. I was disappointed, was excited reminiscent of my last stay. I could’ve booked a motel 6 and got better housekeeping, a microwave and free parking for a cheaper price. I stepped up my booking for a fancier experience that wasn’t fancy.
