Pool totally not what was expected how do you not have a 3 feet and 4 feet friendly who enjoys being the water when pool is not big enough and nobody uses the 8 feet7‘ and 6 feet because they all wanna relax and pool not big enough to put floats to enjoy that part of the area literally 20 people clustered in the entrance of 3 feet because nobody was tall enough for the 8‘7‘ Pool is ridiculous. They should close it.

We came as a family of 4 and enjoyed the location of the property as it was right on the Riverwalk. Anyone who has been to the Riverwalk can appreciate having close and immediate access to your hotel after hours of walking. Our only complaint was the elevator system is horrendous. There is one bank of 4 elevators to service the entire hotel, and each elevator goes to only select floors. During busy times, this means waiting for an elevator for nearly 20 minutes to get to your room or to come back down to the lobby.

Pool was closed tv didn't work and bathroom door lock was broken Construction is going on across the street on on the street so chicking in and no option but to valet for 55 dollars was horrendous The pool being closed is something that should be put on website because the pool was the only reason i picked this hotel! I tried to change dates because the pool was closed and i was going to have to pay more but i was not credited anything for this inconvenience!

Waited 2 and 1/2 hrs I. Geat and construction for parking which was valet. The area is always on point being the river walk but but heavy traffic and construction were not tolerable till late. Rooms were nice. Views was ok baby t not as described. Do t even try with the small UNHeated pool. The elevator took 20 mins. So take the stairs....

The property was beautiful, everything was in walking distance. The only thing that stuck was parking, no where to park waited over 30 mins for valet all to get charge $55 a night

The staff for the most part was courteous and friendly. The hotel is dated and shows its age. Our room was on the 5th floor and directly in front of major construction going on, not quite the “city view” as advertised. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and I could feel springs in mattress, carpet in the room was dingy and there was mold in shower. Balcony should’ve been a plus however it was unusable due to the floor, chairs and table being covered in dust from construction. Earplugs are provided and recommended as construction starts at 5am even on Saturday. Attempted to call for room service multiple times and no one ever answered the phone. Overall, for the price, there are much better, newer options in the area.

We went for a night and stayed at this hotel and found a cockroach in our room. We called room service, the reception many times and asked them to come and clean it but no one showed up until i went to the reception myself. I am never staying at this hotel anymore.

We waited 20 minutes just to give our car to valet. The lobby was ridiculously loud I couldn't hear what the front desk attendant was saying. The room was ok. Our comforter was dirt and I have no clue what was going on with the tub in the restroom. It was like there was water accumulate between the tub and its coating. It felt like you were standing on a water bed! There were signs of mold in the shower. Over all not the greatest experience for what we paid. I would not stay here again.

We were able to check in early. The front desk, Samuel, was great! From the valet to the house staff, everyone was happy, polite and accommodating. The hotel itself was impeccable and right on the River Walk. Great views. Comfortable rooms.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel this is not the place! The construction in front of the hotel is so loud they start 6am and go into the evening. There was terrible loud hammering in the floor above as well that made it hard to sleep. The location is great though right on the riverwalk near so many fun places! The staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious and clean! Hope next time I go the construction is finished.

Overall, the property and the staff were wonderful. However, the only reason I am not giving this property a five star rating is simply because our room was hot the whole time. Maintenance came to our room and advised that they fixed the situation but they didn’t. It was extremely hot outside, and after site seeing I would have liked to enjoy a chilled room.

Despite this being one of the older properties on the San Antonio Riverwalk, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The valet was reasonably priced. The hotel has been modernized and met all of our expectations. The noise levels were not annoying in the least, and the proximity to the older portion of the Riverwalk, made this a fantastic stay.

The hotel was conveniently located to many restaurants and right on the Riverwalk! We stayed on the Riverside of the hotel so we could hear music playing until around midnight. We didn’t mind because it was great music! Staff at the hotel were helpful and very nice. Nice breeze off of our balcony too. Highly recommend!

Loved the location. The hotel staff was very friendly. I could not give it a 5 star rating based on comparison with properties I believe truly are 5 star. The hotel is clean but rooms are definitely dated. One old chair in the corner and a small rolling desk chair. We sat on the bed so no worries. Also, every time we passed through the lobby we were approached about booking another trip to listen to the two hour "non time share" presentation. While the lady was very kind we found ourselves dreading the lobby and looking for other ways out of the hotel. I would stay here again.

The motel was nice and is located in a good location. The area is under construction which they were very nice in warning about the noise and even provided ear plugs in the room. We arrived an hour early (until check in time) and they had our rooms ready. Everyone was very nice. We didn't have hot water Saturday morning. We did Friday evening when we had a family member take a shower then but we had very little hot water the next morning. This was around check out time so I thought maybe it was due to everyone using the facilities but we didn't have hot water Sunday morning either. This needs attention. We tried to order room service Saturday evening and kept calling for 45 minutes. We would just receive a recording and then it would hang up. I walked down to the check in location and asked for some help and they told me that they were not responsible for room service and that I needed to go to the pizza restaurant (Fiume Pizzeria and Wine Bar). I went there and they told me that they were busy but they were not responsible for the room service issue. I did sit down and order a take go order which was good. This was an hour and half process to get food. We booked three rooms for two nights and spent a lot of money to not have hot water or room service. Not sure that we will book here again.

One of the worst hotel check-in experiences ever, and I say this having thousands of room nights over the years. Literally took two hours to valet, then after we checked in and they took my money and we were in the room, they called our room and told us the reservation had been canceled (seriously?). It took another 45 minutes to get that worked out and all this caused us to be an hour late to a concert that cost $600 per ticket. In addition, I payed for a king suite and got a standard room with two full size beds. Other than that, the hotel is older but clean and nice, and it is a convenient location on the riverwalk. Maybe they are ok when it’s not too busy, but I wouldn’t stay here for a game at the Alamodome, concert or event.

The valet & the.guys that take your luggage were so nice. They provided the best customer service I've ever had. The guy at the front desk was very nice as well and very informative. Loved everything about this place.

The receptionist when we arrived wasn't very friendly. We arrived about 15 minutes before we were supposed to check in. The receptionist said he would gladly check us in and proceeded. He said we were good to go but our room would not be ready for another 30 minutes. He continued to check us in and said we were good to go and kind of walked away from us. He did not give us our keys and when we asked about them, he was pretty rude and snickered at us and said we wouldn't get our keys until the room was clean. 10 minutes later (5 minutes before we were supposed to check in) we received a message stating our room was clean. We walked to the counter and the receptionist didn't say a word and handed me the room key. When we went to our room, there wasn't a cleaning cart in sight, which made me believe the room was ready well before we went up. Then whole experience of checking in felt rude and unprofessional. Great room! Great location! Other than the receptionist, highly recommend!

Location is in the La Villifa district. Walk out right on the Riverwalk near many restaurants! Checkin was prompt and Easy. Elevator extremely slow. You can hear Loud engines from car racing at night eventhough we were on the 15th floor. Not the hotels fault but beware if your room faces the convention center. Parking options are valet $50/day or public garage $32. Family friendly! Hotel is older but location is reason we booked and would book again!

Property was in a great location! We didn’t have to drive anywhere to get to all the places we wanted to be. Elevators were backed up at all times and are on a weird system. Staff was super helpful. Housekeeping came and made one bed but didn’t make the other. Room and beds were comfortable. The restaurant was absolutely TERRIBLE. Food came out cold, missing things such as butter for pancakes or toppings for French toast. Waiter was too lazy to bring butter so he told us they were out Yet others had their plates come with all the toppings and whipped butter on top. Waited 45 mins for food. Overall stay was nice just avoid the restaurant.

Had a nice room with a balcony with a "city view." It was good. We actually preferred it to the river view (river view only good if you are on the 2 lowest floors. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Pizza at Fume downstairs was very good. Nice to sit out by the river and have a late pizza dinner. Much better that the room we had at the Mansion last year--and less expensive!

The Hotel was AMAZING! Very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. This was our first time here and i failed to realize that there was no on site parking at this hotel. However, if you calculate the cost of valet ($55 a day) into your trip, you'd be fine. Or simply just park at the public parking down the street about 7 mins walking distance. If you use valet, be sure to call for your vehicle at least 15 mins before you need it, as the valet crew are working very hard, especially on a friday and saturday night.) The balcony views are awsome! The pool was small and not heated but still very fun !The access from the hotel to the river is very convenient. The lobby bar was great! Fiume, the restaurant on the river level was delicious. The Irish pub also attached to the hotel, Durty Nelly's, was also great fun ! Over all the hotel provided plenty of fun for our trip and i definitely plan on staying again!

The property itself is currently under renovation so there is a lot of construction noice throughout the day. The rooms are a bit outdated. However what made it great was the staff Ms. Gabriela and Ms. Maria at the front desk were very helpful with recommendations and questions I had. I also needed some items that I didn’t bring along with me and they had everything brought out to my room. Breakfast at the Rivers edge was a good experience. While the menu was limited, the staff was great and even offered to make anything by request. Definitely a hotel worth staying at especially due to the location right on the riverwalk.
