Under construction, rooms directly next to us, which started at 7am, while we were trying to sleep. Exit doors propped all night. I would close them just to have front desk re-prop open.

Be prepared to bring your own pots if you plan on cooking. Also dish soap and sponge. No ice machines on any floor and the ice maker in the freezer doesn't work either. You can get a bag of ice from the front desk when we you need to. The hotel was fantastic otherwise and clean.

There was NO ICE machine anywhere on site in 100 degree weather, NO HOT WATER for showers, cooking or sanitizing linens or towels. Staff was aware of this issue for 3 days as guests were complaining. My wife asked manager on duty how was this sanitary and lady said oh it’s ok we use chemicals, and how is it sanitary for staff to cook without hot water when according Health Code running hot water needs to be readily available (somewhere along those line as my wife is a market director in the food industry). No compensations were offered and the hotel kept checking guests in without notifying them of NO HOT WATER, from 8/15/2024 - 8/18/2024 NO HOT WATER on site.

I would like to start out with the positive. Breakfast is SUPERB! This chain & location is always my preference when visiting San Antonio. This reservation has lots of amenities we enjoy as a family. Despite that I booked thru a third party, I've become accustomed to Hiltons high standard of cleanliness & room conditions. I've experienced this time & time again at this location, it's what brings me back. This was NOT the case this time. My kids were not able to use the pool as it is not clean. The room I was given is old/out dated with several tears on the carpet & the bedding (I would not use this in my own home). The room is mediocre clean. Even at check in it did not smell sanitized. The worse is the silverware. Simply unacceptable. I'm hoping this is an exception and not the new standard. I did no inform the front desk because I'm sure you guys are sold out being spring break weekend. Just when I thought things couldn’t get much worse, it did. My 6yr old found a live maggot as she was playing on the carpet!!! NEVER have i encountered this at any hotel stay. I wish I could up this video, did it come from dog feces or rotten food who knows but this should have been at the very least vacuumed. Laura Flores

I really enjoyed my stay! It felt like home! So many amenities: basketball court Gym Free am breakfast , 2 tvs , wide wide wideeeee restrooms , kitchenette and amazing coffee !!! I requested an accesible room and i really appreciated that it was wheelchair friendly!!!

I loved the breakfast and their choices of foods. I loved the Wednesday evening soup, salad, fruit and drinks. Pool could have been a little cleaner, but it was nice. This is my third visit to this hotel. It's separate bedroom is a big reason we keep coming back.

After having stayed in a Homewood Suites in Houston, this property was very disappointing. It is an older property and the rooms are showing their age. The extra blankets in the room were covered in hair balls, and the bathroom was over all a mess

This homewood suites was way below Hilton standards. The air return grate in the room's dining area was covered in hair and dirt, the tub was badly stained in the bottom and in the corners and had no plug to keep water in the tub for a bath! Carpet thruout had debris and stains in the hall ways. We stayed 3 nights and were told the water would be off the first morning of our stay for 5 hours when we had hoped to sleep in after long drive.

This hotel was old and it looked old. The lighting was dark. The bathroom had dirt stains on the tub and the corners of the room were dirty. The toilet was shaky when you sat on it. There were stains on the carpet and the vents were dirty in the ceiling. They're was a spot on the floor that dipped down as well. The room size was great and the breakfast was great but it was definitely over priced.

I arrived at 4pm & the room I was assigned was still not clean. The second room did have clean sheets and towels were picked up but it was not clean like other hotels. The floor was sticky and it did not appear the carpet was vacuumed.

5 night stay- clean room, quite property. The only issue we had was with the air conditioner. Unable to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Maintenance attempted to fix the problem but was only able to get it working well enough to make the room somewhat tolerable.

The food for breakfast was tasty and fresh. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi worked well as I had to do some work from my laptop. The biggest concern were the roaches in the kitchen. I could not leave anything on the counter for fear it was being out the roaches. I saw two during my stay. One on the counter and one in the dishwasher.

Older property. They only clean every 4 days unless requested and the result is cumulative. Dirty and old now instead of just old. I had cockroaches (small) in my dishwasher and stains on both coverlets. But... the dealbreaker here is the LIVE LOUD MUSIC until 11 at night on Thursday through Saturday and until 10 other nights. There is a "new" dog park with live music and food trucks nestled between all of these properties in this area. Particularly loud in room 316 or that end of the building. Not ok. We were there for a swim meet with our young son. Two noisemakers did not block out the percussion. The management seems to think this is not solvable. All of these properties should join together to fight this live music. It will hurt their business. If you want to go to bed at 9 pm, choose not only another hotel, but a completely different area. The Rim hotels are much newer and no live music.

Check in was smooth and easy. The room was really nice with its separate living and kitchen area. The only thing that was surprising was the two bags of decaf and only one regular. As a coffee drinker in the morning, I definitely need regular.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay, beds are very uncomfortable you can feel the springs on the bed, mattress on sofa is even worse. This double beds are the worst, no way 2 adults can sleep comfortably, they are too small. They texted me asking if I need anything I explained the issues and did nothing. I do not recommend

We called the hotel to let them know we'd be arriving a little late. It was not until then that we were informed that there was not a room for us and they moved us to an inferior facility which wanted to charge us more for a room that was not equivalent to what we paid for and received confirmation for. This is unacceptable.

My family and I traveled over 5 hours to this hotel. When we were less than an hour from arriving the manager called to say the room I booked was no longer available! Claiming he went into the room to check it and the ac was out. They offered no comps or discounts for the inconvenience or anything it was a horrible experience and we had to try and find a different hotel they could accommodate my family at the last minute. I will never book a room at this location again. The manager left when he knew I was arriving and let another staff member deal with the issue of trying to put me and my family in a smaller room. It really ruined the first day of a much needed vacation.

I was first assigned to Rm 211, but the toilet was stopped up and maintenance was gone for the day. I was then moved to Rm 201. The bathtub was dirty and the lite underneath the microwave didn’t work. I am grateful, however, that the front desk employee was very courteous and accommodating.

I've been visiting San Antonio a lot lately, this hotel has been the best so far. The rooms are comfortable for the 6 of us, although I wanted the 2 bedroom suite which was sold out. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location was also perfect for us, close to utsa.

We travel with our young one often and Homewood Suites are perfect for a small family. The full kitchen, living room area and bedroom is like a small apartment. Plenty of space for all of us. The area is great if your planning on doing some shopping on I-10 to La Cantera area. Very nice area and convenient for I-10 and 410.

I stayed at a Homewood Suites back in California and it was exceptionally clean. However, this location is so dirty. I found bugs on my clothes. The bed was very uncomfortable and they didn’t even have a proper comforter. They used the mattress pad as a comforter. When I requested more blankets, their response was “we’re out of blankets, a large group checked in and they took it all”. What kind of hotel runs out of blankets?? The staff were friendly. The free breakfast was horrible, didn’t have many selections. Food didn’t taste good. I’m really big on cleanliness, so overall I would give it a 1 star. Would not stay here again.
