Only reason I chose hotel was for location and my friends were staying here as well. Parking in hotel garage is $60/night yet attached to hotel is the convention center parking garage for $10/night. Plenty of parking was available here in CC garage so save your $50/day.

I had a good stay at the Marriot, easy access to the Riverwalk and the Go Rio riverboat tour. I was happy to know that I received a $25 credit each day toward the restaurants on site. I also received 2 tickets for the Go Rio boat tour. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly. The pool is small but half indoor, half outdoor which I haven't seen before. The rooms do need updating but was fine. It can get noisy at night with loud motorcycles and trucks because youre downtown.

Quick weekend getaway. I understand the security measures but the new " secure" elevator feature was EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT. The rest if our group was on a different floor and we had to meet up in the lobby every time. Theres got to be a better way to ensure security and comfort TOGETHER

Only issue is we had to pay $60 a night for valet parking. They do not offer self parking. You can park in the convention center garage for $10 but there is no in and out. Also the garage becomes full fast.

From the check-in to the departure, the staff was great! This hotel is in the perfect location to walk everywhere, is clean, has a great workout room, and great food options. We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel had an awesome pool area for the kids with many games for us to play. The pool was not too big but just enough for what we needed. There was so much within walking distance. We were able to do a bunch of activities without spending a bunch of time trying to get there.

I was disappointed the room wasn’t properly cleaned before I checked. Housekeeping left a previous guests food in the fridge. I was concerned for the rest of the stay about what other items were not properly cleaned. I expected better from this hotel.

Convenient location. Riverwalk, Mall, Alamo, Wax museum, Ripley’s are all at walking distance. Room had a small balcony with great view of the Riverwalk. Hotel has a cafe with Starbucks, and a nice bar too. I’ll be back for sure.

Had an enjoyable stay at the Marriott San Antonio Riverwalk. Centrally located right on the Riverwalk and a shopping mall across the street. The Alamo was just a few blocks away. It was our first time in San Antonio and it suited our needs perfectly. Staff was very courteous. The property, however, could use a refresh as its interior decor is a little dated (rooms have popcorn ceilings).

The Hotel was clean, staff were helpful and kind. Perfect to the Riverwalk and the Conference Center. Room was great, comfortable. The only negative is the noise from outside. The area is very noisy. I was on the 18th floor and the noise from street level made it extremely difficult to fall asleep - no windows open. Friday, Saturday and Sunday were difficult. Monday was improved, but not gone. The extreme noise I experienced may have been situational. I suggest ear plugs and a sound machine/app.

Perfect area for New Years celebrations. Do not stay in any room on either side of the elevators, they are noisy and will keep you up all night. Not the people the actual noise coming from the elevators.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The young lady at the front desk upgraded our room when we told her that we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. We didn't ask for the upgrade. That was impressive!

The area is very convenient and we had wonderful views but we were not given the room we reserved and paid for and upon checking in we were told it was an extra $150 for the room. We were told it was because we booked through Expedia instead of through them and they didn’t post it correctly. I’ve always booked through Expedia and been given the room that I booked. I’ve never been told this before or had this happen so I’m super disappointed and most likely will not stay at the Marriot again.

Purse was stolen at River Center Shopping. Staff gave different information not consistent. Noisy with construction outside on the 11th floor. Bed was hard and lumpy caused sever backache for both parties in the room. Pillows were not adequately stuffed/filled. Limited dining. Tributary breakfast was excellent.

I was in town for a conference, and the location of property was very convenient. I could walk to the Convention Center. Also there were many opportunities for dining and shopping within walking distance. Hotel was clean and neat. I ordered food from the bar and it was very good for a fair price. Great access to the Riverwalk, plus the "destination fee" provided tickets for a Riverwlak boat tour. Luckily we took the tour the last night before all of the holiday lights disappeared! Good breakfasts in the hotel restaurant, again partially funded by the $25/day destination fee.
