This hotel exceeded my expectations. Extremely affordable & super clean hotel. Very nice decor. You can tell the owner and staff care about the hotel's appearance and the guest experience. Luggage carts were available as well. I was a solo traveler and stayed 4 nights. Spent 3 days at the pool, it was great. This is located in a better area of town and I felt safe here.

The room was clean and despite being two doors down from the elevator, I never once heard the ding from it. My only complaints are the two ice machines were out of ice and I couldn't get the hot water for my bath hot enough. The water was very warm but not hot. And make sure you use the people-less check out. Front desk staff keep busy cleaning the dining room during the morning hours. I would stay here again if it weren't for the hot water issue. That's a del breaker for me.

The bed was very comfortable. Was nice to have a pool, and it was available. Breakfast was somewhat lacking. One hanger in the closet is not enough, front desk didn't have any additional hangers. Cost was resonable.

Has an electric charger we will travel and let the car at the airport so we charge the car during the night staying at the hotel and we saved time so that is a plus for me !

Hey guys I've never written a review before but for this place I must. We stayed in room 225 and I have some pictures to share with potential new customers. Our bathroom was COVERED in BLACK MOLD. My wife has asthma and black mold is huge bio hazard. The owner needs to be held accountable for resolving this issue. I know they're going to just paint over it and call it good. You CANNOT do that! You need to rip out all the infected dry wall and replace it with cement board that cannot harbor black mold. It is clearly evident that the manager is only trying to gain profit and not maintaining the building or creating customer service experience. If you're going to run a business you need to set clear expectations of your employees and go through with a checklist to make sure they're completing it to your standards. We stayed here 4 nights and the pool is also growing bacteria all over the walls. It was never cleaned nor sifted of debris once. They put water into the waffle mix so that it makes hollow waffles. We only "ate" breakfast here once before we made other arrangements. Lastly the owner has signs everywhere throughout stating different machines are unopperational. Again, it cost money to run a business. Charge a few dollars more a night and run a functioning hotel. Customers beware if you value your health. If not, the bed is fine and the tvs work.

The room had unusually strong smell of cleaner and was really warm upon entry. There was an odd windowshade pulled all the way down in the room and i knew this faced the pool. All evening i could hear the splashes and conversations as loud as if they took place in my room. Turns out, the window (missing a screen) was all the way open. TV was incapable of accessing any programming on any channel. Rust covered closet door track. Room door had to be forced open as it sticks. Floor was sticky. I was afraid to use bathroom to shower. I left and will not go back.

This property was in total disrepair!! Every customer was complaining about their roller blinds and heaters. The room was dirty, furniture was greasy and not propely wiped down, linens were stained and had hair on them, and bath walls were peeling from wall damage, entry wall was patched and unpainted. This hotel was just flat out DISGUSTING!!!!

I don't know when this Days Inn was built, but it looked fairly new. Our room was very nice, exceptionally clean, and fairly comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, but they need to invest in some suitable pillows (very dinky - almost like not having any). The TV was great, the furniture was very nice, and the room was spotless. My only big complaint was that the bathroom was split - the toilet and bath/shower was in one room, but the sink and mirror was across from the bath in a somewhat cramped area by the entry door. The hotel offers a breakfast for those who like to get up that early on vacation. (I'm not one of those.) One of staff members in the dining area across from the check-in desk, said that the coffee is on all during the day, which I liked. Check-in was quick, and you can just leave your door card at the desk when leaving. The lady that checked us in was not very friendly and welcoming, but we didn't spend much time at the desk anyway. But, like I always say: "customer service goes a long way," especially when you work in a customer service business. Overall, a very pleasant stay. The hotel was somewhat hard to find, but otherwise is highly recommended.

The hotel was in a good location. The room was clean. We stayed for 3 nights in town visiting family. The only issue we had was that the room air conditioners (we had a suite) did not remove the humidity. Perhaps the filters needed changing, I don't know but there was moisture inside the windows most of the time we tried hanging things to dry after the pool but in 24hours they didnt dry. The available laundryroom dryer was out of order, Breakfast was fine. Desk staff courteous. We had to get our room card replaced or rekeyed 4 or 5 times but they were ok with it. bed was comfortable. We were placed in a handicapped room although we were without handicaps. It sort of seemed like a hospital room. Pool was clean and pleasant to take a break from the 100+ heat each day.

I was worried about a late check-in and she went above and beyond to ensure that our room would be available, no matter the time. I will definitely be staying here again. An employee named Gia told me I could leave at 11pm and would refund me stay because I complained about the room being dirty and the ice machine was broken. She was personally offended that I complained. When I called her on it and had all my belongings packed she said she would only refund a portion of my stay. The manager responded to me later and gave me a complimentary extended check out to 12 instead of 11.

Our door to our room would not lock. When we notified the front desk, they said they could not fix it until the next day which was understandable at the late hour. When we asked for another room, they said they only had suites available. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told by the man at the front desk that if we were not happy we could leave. Finally was able to speak to a manager and was given another room. I guess by some miracle one opened up. When we got to the room, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it is a non-smoking hotel. However, the young lady at the front desk in the morning was very friendly and helpful.

Cleaning service did not clean the room the second or third night I was there, I had even informed the front desk on the first night then the 2nd night I spoke to the manager, she could only offer to switch rooms or have someone come to my room to clean it, it was 9pm at night, neither choice was good for me and my mother with whom I had come to help her get her house in order after her husband just passed away so we were not in our room all day every day and just got the room to sleep in at the end of very long and tiring days. The manager asked if I would allow the front desk personnel to come video my room which I allowed and also took my own video. Beds were not made or partially made, hair in the sink and in the bathtub, trash not removed. Overall experience was poor. I had to stay an extra night and so they said I had to check out then check back in the next day and I was shocked, the beds were good but there was still hair in the shower. I can only assume that my concerns about cleanliness were not taken seriously and that whoever cleaned was the same person and no one bothered to check behind them.

The check in process was awful. The property was paid in advance and a credit authorization was filled out prior to arrival. It was not saved in their system and we were given a tremendous hassle by the lady at the desk. On top of that I had a service animal that I travel every where with. I am quite self conscious about my need for one but she has become part of my life. The clerk was terribly rude regarding my need for a service dog, charged me a pet deposit fee despite my insistence that my service dog was not a pet, and reminded me several times that they weren’t a pet friendly establishment. I am a disabled veteran that travels substantially for work and have never had such a problem with Days In or Wyndham. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The staff, cleanliness, and the pool were great! Our only concern was a dripping bathroom tub. I would stay at this hotel again in the future. Location was good as it was near the 1604 Loop and you could travel quickly to most any areas of San Antonio.

Like most people, we pick hotels based on price and other reviews. This one lived up to both expectations. This Days Inn is a clean, safe, decent hotel in north San Antonio. Staff were polite and helpful. It is a smaller place (one 3 story building) tucked away off Highway 281, but plenty of parking. They take care of the facilities well, probably renovated recently or regularly. No real problems. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice, etc. Nice little pool. Family-friendly place. Well worth the comparatively inexpensive price. Negatives: not many, really. No eggs on the breakfast bar. Only two exercise machines in the small workout room, but that is to be expected. We would stay here again.

I got there and there was mold so I went to the lady at the front office and she took me to like 5 rooms that all looked terrible. I asked her to give me my money back so I can find something else & she said she couldn’t. I asked her to make it right and she refused.
