Comfort Suites The Colony - Plano West

We needed sheets to put on the pull out sofa. I went downstairs, and there was no one working the desk. I called out and no one came. I even called the hotel and it wouldn't let through to the front desk.

Our room smelt awful, paid for queen beds but we definitely had full size beds, breakfast was terrible, my son’s waffle tasted sour and biscuits were not cooked all the way through, and we found roaches on our last night there. We will not be returning to this hotel at all.

The breakfast was awful. The waffles stuck to the waffle iron and were still raw in the middle. The gravy was completely inedible and tasted like raw flour and salt. Our room smelled like fish, the sink was stopped up, and the deadbolt on the door would not lock. When I reported the sink issue to the front desk at 4:00 PM, I was told someone could come look at it in the morning — unfortunately, we were only staying one night. I also requested bedding for the pullout queen bed and was given twin-size bedding that didn’t fit. On top of everything else, the entire hotel smelled strongly of weed. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, especially because Comfort Suites is usually one of my favorite hotel chains when traveling. The only positive thing I can say is that the pet fee was very reasonable at $25 per night.

Dirty

Upon walking into the hotel, there is a musty smell. Doesn’t smell clean at all. Inside the room, the floor felt wet from the humidity. The carpet is ripped up in several places. Bathroom was in really bad shape with rust and dirty looking. The mirror had nasty fingerprints all over. The mirror above the sink was literally cracked in half. I would not recommend staying here.
