The staff were helpful and they had a good breakfast selection. I appreciated that the pool was heated nicely but the hot tub was quite dirty and the jets are not functional. They were having roofing work done while we were there but there was a lot of concerning maintenance that made it feel unsafe. For example, water was consistently leaking from a ceiling lighting fixture. Glad we only spent one night.

I’m traveling the country with my young daughters “Roadschooling”. The last month we’ve been from New Mexico to Louisiana and everywhere in between. I specifically booked this place for the indoor heated pool and hot tub for them to finally swim before heading home for the holidays. Upon check in I asked about the functionality of the pool and was pleased to hear it was in perfect working order. When we entered the pool area a woman in the pool asked if we were hotel guests I told her yes, she then told me she was going to be on one side of the pool (giving swim lessons) I was upset being that this was literally the only reason we booked here. My daughters are not great swimmers and we’re told to stay on the deep end. I went to the front desk and let them know, i basically told she didn’t see the problem and they’ve never had complaints before and literally that was that. I called best western to address my issue, not looking for compensation or refund but just to make them aware. We went up to the room after 15 mins and 6 other children arriving for lessons only to be called to the room phone from the general manager yelling at me for her points being deducted and bad review I tried to explain that I was not happy, she would not let me speak she kept talking over me and was the most passive aggressive woman I’ve ever come in contact with. She 100 percent needs to be fired. And should not ever be able to work in the customer service industry again. I will never stay again.

when we got there, it had a horrible smell wet, tv didn't work, we were going to call front desk and there was no phone in the room, so we went to the front desk told them about the tv and the phone, the person didn't know how to fix the tv and the phone she said she didn't know why there was no phone in the room, we wanted to cancel and they wouldn't cancel it and we had to stay there so they wouldn't charge us for the room, also we wanted to use the pool and it was out of order they never told us about it when we had called a day before we arrived, thats why it smell horrible wet carpet, finally they moved us to another after they told us they didn't have anymore rooms, also they gave us a handicap room, so we decided to stay the night so they wouldn't charge us we had driving 17 hours to get service like this, we had booked the room for three nights in advance and we only stayed o e night and was able to cancel the other two nights, and the breakfast was cold and the potatoes were old the coffee was super hot,

Location was fairly well maintained. It was clear that some of the maintenance personnel did not have the pride in their work that should be present. The only complaint I had was the EV charging station did not warn about prolonged plug-in charging will be a penalty fee. Every charge location that I've used in the past that had a penalty fee stated it in the beginning. This location did not.

I loved the staff first and foremost. I wish I would'vegotten the two ladies names so I can recognize them. It was quiet on the 2nd floor. The pool was open for the kiddos from 8am to 11pm. The jacuzzi water was pretty dirty and the jets weren't doing much, but we didnt go for the hot tub, just the pool. The free breakfast options were AWESOME! Everything in the room was clean except 2 saucer plates in the cabinets. The beds are super comfy. Overall, with the kids, it was a good stay. 👍

We didnt use the tub/shower. It leaked all night. Night stand had some kind of dried drips all down the side next to the bed. There was green pieces of something under the sink up against the wall. Like it got swept there or missed by the broom. Nothing really serious. But noticeable. Staff was courteous and friendly. Continental breakfast was one of the best we've had anywhere.

This hotel was very nice. The staff was nice also. The only complaint I have is that there were 2 roaches in the shower curtain and in the floor behind the trash can in the bathroom when we came in room. But other than that it was a great stay.

The room was filthy, I finally found a chain that make motel6 look good.Can tell most of their business comes from construction crews staying there. The bathroom was filthy and needed to be cleaned, the common area was worse.Came time to go to bed and pulled the sheets back and they had blood on them, so they had not been cleaned

Shower bar was rusted and not attached, shower head was rusted,bed sheet had blood on it that you can tell had not been washed, along w small blood smears on pillows. Room stunk of weed! I have stayed in this hotel before on the second floor with no issues, but the room on third floor was awful.

My room was on the lower level overlooking the parking lot. The traffic coming and going was ridiculous right next to a busy highway on the other side was the pool I asked to be changed. They said they were overbooked, even though they were not more than 10 cars in the parking lot at 10 PM The only highlight of the day was breakfast and the woman who were serving their she was wonderful

Was clean and staff was very friendly but when we walked into room it had an odor. Wife said it smelled like bleach and we figured since it was next to the laundry area and across from the pool it was a combination of bleach and chlorine. King size bed was well worn as you could see the indents of where people slept. Also had the rod that holds the shower head fall off the wall, not even in the bathroom when this happened. Overall nice place just needs some updating and minor maintenance.

Stayed for one night. Everything was amazing, and the front desk ladies were nice. They even had a good looking breakfast, but I was in a rush. Gave it 3 out of 5 stars. The complaints I have was the room. The TV channels sucked and didn’t work. (Had to use my Laptop), also the shower-head needed to be replaced. Overall this property was good. It was quiet, clean and just what we needed. I was disappointed by the staff on Friday night. When we checked in I specifically asked how late the pool would be open. She said 11. We had some plans that evening but made sure we made it back in time to relax in the hot tub before bed. Upon arriving back, we changed and went down to the pool area and the lights were off. When we asked if they could be turned back on, we were told that they had put chemicals in the pool and it was closed. This was disappointing as we modified our plans to be sure to be back in time to swim. It seemed the staff wasn’t truthful and she just wanted to close it for the night. We booked this hotel for the opportunity to be able to swim on our weekend getaway after the craziness of the day and we didn’t get that opportunity. We also gave the staff a separate card to charge vs the one we booked with. She took the card, added it on file, but they still charged the other card. A really big inconvenience now that we have to wait for that charge to fall off. The staff could benefit from more attention to detail overall.

we stayed here for four days and needed to add an extra night. the staff here in waco was very accommodating. the pool, the breakfasts, and late check out was so very fitting for our needs.

Horrible Place. Booked a room for my employees late at night so they wouldn’t have to drive home So tired. They got there to check in and waited two hours for someone to show up. Then the lady at the desk wouldn’t let them stay and said they had an night audit” and they had to be checked in by a certain time which makes zero sense since I just booked the room 30 minutes before they arrived. Rude nasty lady and the poor tired guys had to deal with that instead of sleeping. Still arguing to get a refund!

We came in at 11pm so I'm not sure if this just the night staff or the actual rules but they didn't accept cash as the incidental. I tried using my friends credit card and they wouldn't take it either because she had a decorative card sticker on it and they wouldn't charge it without seeing the name and numbers. We showed pictures of her card presticker and they still wouldn't take it. It felt like they were making us jump through a thousand hoops when we were exhausted from our trip. The staff felt very rude and like they didn't care. We tried asking for a refund because it says on the listing that they accepted cash and they refused to refund. Overall just a huge headache and a waste of $105.

So initially I was happy with the property but the staff is very unprofessional and rude. I was there for 3 days after 2 days I asked for my room to be cleaned which I’ve never had to ask before, they stated that they were short staffed and would send someone up. I said I would stop at the front desk after taking a nap to let them know when I was out of the room, the house keeper came up 15 minutes later and then every 5 minutes until I finally gave up on my nap (after working all night) and had to leave my room. It almost felt vindictive for asking them to do their job

Clean and comfy. Super friendly and helpful front desk ladies.My only complaint is they were shutting down the breakfast ten mins earlier than listed and we rushed to get down stairs for it!

This is easy to get to, and away from the havoc of Hwy 35. Quiet, nice easy check in. Breakfast not worth eating, though. Gross eggs, microwave sausage. Most hotels now, if they have breakfast, have sub par ones. However, when you charge as much as a Best Western, you pught to be able to get more than this.

Easy to get to. Wish there was more parking closer to the door, it’s hard to wrangle 2 kids with everything when on the side of the building. But we will be back!

We stayed over Christmas week visiting family. The entire staff was great - friendly, efficient, welcoming. A special shout-out to the gentleman who oversaw the breakfast area - he went out of his way to be helpful. Thank you!

Breakfast included eggs, biscuits, gravy, and yummy waffles. Meal staff was especially courteous and upbeat. Very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely stay again.
