Excellent communication. Was informed ahead of time that the pool was closed and they were undergoing construction. Was concerned about that impact. When we arrived at the property, everything was in impeccable order. Yes the pool was closed, but we knew that going in. Excellent service, excellent breakfast.

Very friendly staff and good breakfast. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was we had to dispatch a couple of stink bugs and a spider that were in the room, but I did not feel unclean - I understand what a nuisance stink bugs can be.

The employee at the check in desk was very friendly. The wifi was down and she was very apologetic for this when I checked in. The lobby and front area were clean and there was hot coffee and hot water with tea bags or hot cocoa. Unfortunately, I was given a room beside the elevator and it was loud all night long. The room was clean. The bathroom sink was cracked, but didn't leak as far as I could see. There were notices around the hotel staying that the hotel is under construction. There was a McDonald's being built right next door, and the workers started bright and early (and loudly)on that project. The breakfast was nice with eggs, sausage, potatoes, pastries, cereal, and a few other options as well as coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and juice. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast area was clean.

We stayed here for a quick one night stay while passing through on our road trip. The hotel itself is undergoing some renovations which are clearly visible from the hallways. Our room however was perfect and fully updated. We had a room right along the highway but heard no traffic; blackout curtains were also perfect. Breakfast was great with a large selection. Would definitely stay here again; possibly the best of our trip.

Hotel was very clean. I stayed in one of the updated rooms and it was very modern and put together well. I think I am used to softer beds as the bed was pretty firm to me. Staff were helpful when I had trouble with the Internet. Overall a nice stay.

The room was great, the hotel and room were very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. There was a 'hum' in the room, not sure if it was the heater or what, but it was like 'white noise' and it lulled both my husband and myself right to sleep ☺

It was clean and quiet, a nice place for an extra long weekend away. They allow pets, which is nice for those of us who can't leave their babies with fur at home. They do have a pool, although a bit on the small side and it was a little chilly for an indoor pool. It also is in a great location, I think for vacationing in Front Royal. The room we had was very large, plenty of space, the bathroom was large was well. It was a very nice, beautiful, clean space to spend our time in away from home. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. I did have to keep going and asking for things, the wifi password, a doggie package that I was supposed to get upon arrival with a placard for the door, kleenex, tp, and when a lightbulb blew, I said oh well. Lol most places give you all the info right out the gate, not this one. It was like they wanted keep secrets. Then they bombarded me with texts asking how I was liking it. Didnt make much sense to me. Beautiful place, smelled the breakfast every morning, never made it to one tho, my husband said it was good. We both liked it here and will probably stay here again when we come back to Front Royal.

Breakfast was good, except the omelettes were not very fresh-tasting. We were kicked out of the serving area because we entered the area at 6:00a (which was the posted opening time). The “server” was not very nice and scolded us for entering before they opened the doors!

I liked the lobby and the breakfast options. Carpet in all corridors is new. But the rooms themselves are no better than what you'd find on a cheap motel, with the typical heater and AC so loud that you can't hear the TV or sleep with it. Also, front desk would not pick the phone, despite many attempts.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast was very good too. They were having some work done on the front of the building, so we had to use the back door to leave and there was a flight of stairs. We managed it and we realized it was temporary. The location is okay. It's off of a highway, but our room was quite.

I would stay here again without hesitation. Unfortunately we couldn`t walk to anywhere with this property being next to 2 interstates but that wasn`t a problem. There is a McDonald`s next door which appeared to be closed for renovation at this time, but we don`t normally go there anyway. Every staff member including housekeeping and maintenance personnel were very pleasant.

Great Hampton, only issue is they ran out of most breakfast items 45 minutes before breakfast closed. Staff didn't want to do anything about it -- just a shoulder shrug. For $132 in a semirural location, I would expect more.
