We wanted a pool for relaxing and some exercises but it was closed. It would be helpful if the website for the location would have stated the pool was closed. We would have gone to another location with one that was open. When we checked in the frontdesk clerk acted like we should have known it was closed.

The check-in was easy. The woman at the front desk was very polite and hospitable. The hotel was conveniently located and comfortable. The only issue was that the pool and hot tub were closed as the heater was broken. I was really looking forward to that hot tub.

Booked hotel 10 weeks before the stay specifically so I could use the pool and hot tub for my health condition. 4 days before arriving (1 day AFTER penalty free cancellation), I noticed they posted on their web site the pool & hot tub would be closed for the next 4 weeks (starting a few week before we arrived). When I asked at the front desk when they posted that noticed she said beginning of the month. Letting those with reservations aware of the change should occurred via email. At a minimum a little more notice would have been nice. Otherwise the stay was good.

The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. The breakfast was better than average and they have 24 hours hot coffee and tea. The pool and hot tub were closed which was a disappointment. A pipe burst in our bathroom in the middle of the night, but the staff were quick to get us a new room and were credited for a nights stay. Overall, a good place to stay in the area.

Started out as a dream that slowly turned nightmare. Great room but started noticing things were off. Only 1 of 2 elevators worked. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. The dryer in the laundry room on our floor didn’t work. And to top it off, the next day the Wi-Fi shut down and apparently needed a ‘part’ that wouldn’t be delivered until after we left, 2 days later. But it wasn’t all bad. The breakfast(s) were great. The cleaning staff was very attentive but the front desk was always vacant and I had to stand there some time before someone showed up.

On a whole everything was good. The morning staff was not very friendly and spent a lot of time in the office. The gentleman in afternoon was very nice and helpful. Our room needed a little more care. The headboards were dusty, and the carpet throughout the room was very dirty. The carpet on the side of the room near the air conditioner all the way to the corner of the bed felt damp and again was very dirty.

Was not aware that the pool and hot tub weren’t working nor the exercise room. Drove 2 days in a car and wanted both. Also, do not understand why there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Staff was very nice and place itself seemed clean enough. Just frustrated over those.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy!! I've only found one other hotel that has comfy beds and my body parts don't go numb from the hardness of the bed lol. Now I have another hotel chain to add to my list! Breakfast was good, there was plenty of options and we stayed 3 nights and a lot of the items changed each morning, for a good variety. Staff was friendly! Pool was a good bonus on our first day after 8hrs of traveling. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was fine. Breakfast was amazing with eggs waffles sausage potatoes and the usual breads cereals and yogurts. My two complaints was they charged $75 extra for our dog (my fault for not checking on the price before booking) and our room had a TERRIBLE Smell. You would get used to it after awhile but then be affronted every time you re-entered the room. A combo of dead animal and must with ineffective air freshener sprayed over it. Also the hallway carpets were stained and dirty although the room seemed relatively clean In the end I wouldn’t stay there again because of the dog tariff but wouldn’t rule it out if we were dog less.

Walls made of paper. One of the loudest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. There was no conditioner in the shower which was cool to find out in the middle of showering. Staff was awesome super friendly and kind. Everything was really clean.

Walls were thin as paper. Awakened at 5 in the morning by people walking upstairs. Later, I thought someone was in my shower, but it was the next room over--that is how clearly I could hear. I heard whole conversations next door. Miserable!

Our stay was good. The room was clean. The only objection is the height of the mattress. For your “older” guests, climbing up onto that high mattress with “old” knees is painful. Unfortunately, it seems all hotels use the same type of mattress, so we are rolling into bed. Otherwise, our stay was great, from check-in to breakfast. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

The front desk staff were excellent. The breakfast is generous. This has become our go-to hotel for our visits to Brattleboro. It is also next door to Panda North, an excellent Chinese restaurant!

Our stay was good. Staff on the phone wasn’t the most friendly. We asked for an early check in since we were traveling with a baby and were told to keep calling to check for availability. We did so. However, by the time of our last call the staff member on the phone wasn’t kind and made us feel like we were a bother.

Everything was very nice. I was checked in at the desk by "Jolene" who was cordial, friendly, and welcoming. The room was very clean and it was very quiet. The breakfast in the morning was excellent as was the coffee station. I do miss the little snack bag at the front desk where we could grab 'n go off for the day. All was very nice. Thank you!

The service was top notch and all the extra touches made our stay special. Homemade cookies and the travel breakfast bags were amazing. The staff was professional, efficient and ever so kind. The hotel is under renovation, but we still had a wonderful stay. 5 stars

We rented adjoining rooms (the family suite we had originally booked was unavailable when we arrived). One room was definitely more updated whereas the other had a fridge that had broken shelves, rust, and was not in good working order. The staff (other than Robert who assisted us upon check in) were rude, dismissive, and not at all friendly. Although I usually love a Hampton Inn, this one was not worth the stay. We will definitely be booking with another hotel if we travel to Brattleboro again.

The staff messed up my reservation and I was charged for a no-show that just wasn't true. Tried to fix it with Expedia but the hotel declined. Spoke with a person at the hotel and they understood the issue but needed their manager to approve it. Said the manager would call me the next day. That was 4 days ago. Now when I call the hotel no one answers and the voicemail box is "full" so I can't even leave a message for the manager. Just terrible service.

We had someone else’s towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door so makes me wonder about cleanliness. Property next door is for the homeless and a bit rundown but no issues. Bed was comfy and from what I could see, room was clean and it was quiet.

The hotel was neat and clean. It is very conveniently located off interstate. It is on a suburban strip road so will not be able to walk anywhere. I would recommend the Hampton inn over other hotels in the area which did not look to be in great condition in my opinion.
