Econo Lodge Kennewick Tri-Cities

When I first drove up to register, there was a homeless man sitting on the ground in front of the parking spot, and he watched me intently as I went in to register. There was no staff at the desk, but a phone with a note saying pick it up to call an attendant. I picked it up and it rang, but no answer. I did this three times before the person answered and came 5 minutes later. She was very nice. I drove around back to my room and there were several sketchy looking vagrants and smokers constantly around the hotel. The room was pretty good, but then I saw the bathroom. There were about 6 flies in the bathtub bigger than a fruit fly and smaller than an average house fly. I used the bathmat/towel to kill them, but every time I went into he bathroom there were 6-10 more. They did not seem to go into the bed area, which was good, but it was still unsettling and a bit disgusting. All night long, until about 5:00 a.m., people would walk by my door/window talking and it would wake me up, and the air/heater was extremely loud, so I turned it off. I got about 2 hours of sleep. Plus, at midnight a random pick-up truck was parked over the line right next to my car and a man was in rummaging, so I hit my lock button on my car to make it beep and he left. There was no continental breakfast even though they showed it in the pictures. I tried the ice machine at night and the next morning at 7:00 a.m., and no ice either time.

Old. Dirty outside area and noisey

Horrid. Fridge leaked, didn't work, noisy neighbor, sex workers, Homeless and drug transactions- nothing pleasant- left early and won't be back.

Roach in room, bad plumbing. Very dirty. Loud traffic noise. Druggies all over. Wouldn't recommend. Ever.

Do not stay at this property unsafe area and drug homeless staying there cops around looking for persons. The Room smells like Marijuana. We checked out left the area The Motel Looks nothing like the pictures We went into our room and left.

The frig didn't work -- and when I brought back items to go into the frig, I went to the ice dispenser, which was locked -- sign said it was open only from 10 am to 6 pm........and it was locked because of protection from freezing weather. This was on May 5 -- long after evening freezing weather. Also, altho I booked thru Expedia, the desk was not able to give me a final statement for my stay.

There were homeless people hanging around parking lot, had multiple knocks on door after i had fallen to sleep, i left at 2am because i did not feel safe.

Booking online the pictures are extremely old! There were homeless sleeping on the pavement in the parking lot, people living in cars in the parking lot, druggies everywhere. We did not check in because we didn't feel safe to even be in the parking lot.

My 11yo daughter and I checked into the Econolodge in Kennewick, WA last weekend. For the rate of the hotel, I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but I was NOT expecting how unsanitary and, frankly, unsafe I felt at that hotel. Walking in, all the trash cans outside the building were overflowing with trash toppling onto the ground. There was a smell of cigarette smoke, but that I expected since there was NS and S options available. However when we got to our room, the overwhelming odor of urine was disgusting! In addition, the light switch for the bathroom wouldn’t turn on. Homeless people were loitering in the back packing lot. We checked right out.

Property was unclean around the parameters Neiboring room was very disruptive and swearing.

Holes in the walls. Floor had loose pieces and cut the bottom of my foot. Someone tried to kick the front door of my room in at one point in the past. The door was never repaired correctly. So the door didn’t shut and latch properly. Leaving a gap you could stick your finger through. Major surfaces were dusty and dirty. Plaster all over the walls from perilous holes.

The room was ok- dirty here, dirty there but I dealt with it. What is upsetting is the fact that they kept my deposit and I know that the room had no damage! I won't be going back anytime soon and I will never recommend this place- the time before this stay they kept that deposit as well and again NO DAMAGE in this rom either

The room was dirty, the refrigerator was warmish and the heater made the most god-awful noise(s)therefore no sleep to speak of, not happy at all, don't recommend and wasn't even offered an apology or some sort of discount

Dirty sheets. The refrigerator was broken. Only a few channels on tv.

The bed with a terrible smell of dirty and stained sheets, I ordered a room for NON-SMOKERS and it smelled worse than an ashtray. Although the people who took care of me were friendly, the rooms are terrible. A FATAL MISTAKE. Absolute mess. My non smoking double room smelled like an ashtray and had multiple cigarette burns on the bed covers. Laminate floors lifting and separated. Flies in room, floors dirty. First thing we did was pull up bedding to look for bedbugs..thankfully none. Bathtub and sink drains plugged. The front desk attendant tried to make things better by showing us 3 other rooms to choose from, one actually had tried to repair lifting laminate flooring with at least 25 staples into the floor from a paper stapler. She came by with new sheets and covers and handed them to me several hours after we checked in. We would have left but we paid through hotels.com and would have to fight Expedia (owners of hotel.com) to get a refund and we’d driven 13 hours already. The owner is clearly as disheveled as the state of the rooms. It’s rated at 6.8 should be a 1-2 at best. What an absolute lack of care.

The Staff was kind, courteous, and helpful. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, cigarette burn holes in the bed covering. Individuals living in the complex had noisy visitors. A lot of Police activity around the complex. The property looks good online but is in fair to poor condition in reality. Coffee available in the morning, no breakfast items at 7am.

It's noise. People next door was coming in an out with a noise door. Couldn't sleep the entire night. Not recommended.

The motel is very rundown. It is kept clean, but the heater/AC had a damaged control screen that made me think I was better off just leaving it alone. I arrived, after a long drive, and thought I would unwind by streaming a movie, but the internet wouldn't supprt it. As a matter of fact, it would not even let me connect to serveral websites I needed to check. This motel has the looks of a facility surviving on a shoestring budget. It was cheap and clean, but that is about the best I can say.

It was affordable, and the staff was friendly. That said, my room literally had floorboards in the main walking path between the bed and bathroom that were held down by visible screws and duct tape. I suspect it’s also where flies were coming from (not many - just about two of them that I noticed - but still…). Otherwise I can’t complain. Location was pretty good too

I liked the fact there were multiple restaurants and fast food diners within several blocks of the motel. I reserved a room with a king size bed, got two twin beds instead. No coffee maker in room, had to go to front desk for morning coffee. Breakfast had been discontinued durin covid and never started up. There was a drive-up coffee shop in the parking lot but it was a very pricy. The showers had scalding hot water ( no anti-scald devices). The vanity sink only put out enough water to wet a toothbrush, Over all condition of the room was shoddy. The bracket for the ironing board had been pulled off the wall and everything was leaning against the wall. I would not stay here again unless there were no other options.

Whatever you do don't book a smoking room when I first got into the room it had a strong cigarette smoke smell

There was no breakfast..staff overcharged me terrible experience

The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Gina who worked the evening shift. Room was clean. It was a bit noisy as i work nights and sleep during the day but other than that the stay was great!

Staff were very friendly

The check-in process was easy, the room was clean. Restaurants close by will stay again

The staff at the econo lodge are amazing, and the house keeping ladies i give them 10 stars 🌟 they work their butts off and the rooms always look and smell amazing. When i stay there i have a hard time leaning because they really treat u like family here!!! Thanks again to everyone who is employed at the econo lodge!!! Keep up the good work!

It was very clean, but what i liked most was the Staf service ,the lady was so kind and helpful, she should get a raise $ . Thanks you.

Horrible area. Drug addicts fighting and arguing at all hours. Banging around in their rooms. Someone tried breaking into our car within 10 minutes of parking. Walked into our unit and water was all over the floor from leaking water pipes. Real classy place. Front desk gals were really nice though.

The lobby and room smelled like a 30 year smoker had lived there. I felt too unsafe at this location to even stay there one night! A local police officer told me there were a lot of drug busts and illegal activity at this motel. I asked for a refund 2 minutes after seeing the room. The receptionist told me I needed to contact Expedia and let you j ow why I wanted a refund. I’m letting you know now! I cannot get into contact with your company because the numbers seem to not be working. I shall keep trying.

Junkies and squatters, regrettably I had to stay the first night but absolutely no way on staying the second. NOT SAFE FOR FAMILIES.

The vanity sink only put out enough water to wet a toothbrush, Over all condition of the room was shoddy. The bracket for the ironing board had been pulled off the wall and everything was leaning against the wall. I would not stay here again unless there were no other options.

Bed was good, furnishings are show wear and old. Just coffee in the office area.

It is a Dated Motel. The “No Smoking” Room was Smoky. They advertised a Complimentary Breakfast, but only had Coffee. Probably worth the Low Cost.
