It was decent, the kids loved the deer at our balcony but the hot tub wiring went haywire and fire department evacuated and the hot tub was out of service which was a huge downfall for me.

Our family had a great time at the Polynesian. The check-in was quick, which we appreciated after a long car ride, and the staff was great. We were very happy with our room, it had everything we could have ever needed. We spent some time in the pool and hot tub and the arcade and overall we had a great time. In the evening, we used their trail to walk right to the beach and it was a huge convenience not having to get in our car and get it all sandy.

The pool was over full as was the hot tub. Pool so cloudy you cant see bottom, which is not allowed to open. Hot tub full of kids all day. Kids running halls, slaming doors, elevator is very old and sketchy to ride. No breakfast included.

Room was spacious and comfy. We also had a great ocean view! It's a bit of an older property, but we knew that going into it and it didn't disappoint, as it had everything we needed! Staff were great. The indoor pool and game room was a hit!

The pool did not have a heater so it was ice cold. Hot tub was okay. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is old but has charm but it is older and needs updates. Staff was impressive

This is our gonto ocean shores spot. Like most of the town it is older and shows it, but the 1 bedroom suites are massive and we love having a full kitchen! The staff is always so friendly and accomodating. The whole family loves the indoor heated pool and hot tub. It's also nice to have a pool table and little arcade to gonhang out at in the evenings. Also, their pool has adult hours from 10pm- midnight. Right now the balconies are all closed due to age, but we were told construction starts beginning of year to replace them.

The staff was wonderful the pool and hot tub were excellent. Kids enjoyed the game room. Room was spacious, but it definitely needs some updates. We had 2 rooms and 1 had bowls one didnt and then there was some lack of plates and utensils in one of the rooms. Overall though great stay!

The staff was very nice. It was a pleasant check in and check out. The only complaint I have about the hotel is the lack of cleanliness. We had the 2 bdrm dog friendly. They should really take out the stained carpets in the rooms and just all hardwood floor. it smelled of animals, while i was understaning, my allergies kicked my butt. I seen a review that mentioned the bathrooms needed new caulking and it was molding/black. I assumed they would have fixed that because that review was months ago. But our tub was absolutely nasty. The caulking was needing to be redone, but there was caked on dirt in the corner of the shower on the water splash gaurd. It seems like they dont do a greay job on cleaning the bathrooms. Everything else was nice. Our 2 rm suite was spacious, a dinning room, kitchen and a living with extra space. This hotel has so much potential to be great. They need to hire good cleaners and a maintenance team to fix up the place. But the price was good for the type of room we got which is why i chose this place. It would have been nice to take a shower though.

The description on your website was totally inaccurate. The photos weren't accurate. It was like a bait and switch. The hotel is dirty....there was an underlying odor to the place much like dirt being covered up with deoderant. Our room was unacceptable. We would have left this place had we not be upgrated to a better room. Overall soooo disapointed.

Our room was awful. Carpets and furniture dirty throughout. For what we paid and the condition it was in, a 10% discount seems hardly fair. Enough photos were provided. Sadly will not return. Ever.

We unfortunately did not enjoy our stay. We just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night and wasn’t there for very long at all. There was no a/c in our room that we did not expect. It was very hot all night which we did open the 2 windows in our room to let it air out although outside was very noisy on the first floor especially in the morning so we were up most of the time. I tired contacting the front desk about it with no answer since it was a serious issue for us. The other issue was the bathroom was not cleaned. There was sand in the tub and hair everywhere on the tile/bathtub. I’m not one to complain about that since I do work at a hotel myself and know how it is. The only person that was pretty good at the location was the pm person that day when checking in with the 3 people I interacted with. I would not recommend or at least the room that we booked.

This property is in sad shape. The staff were great and the bones of the place are good but boy does it need updated and repaired. We couldn't open our slider without 2 people, the pull out sofa was a joke, the carpets were so stained we wouldn't let the grandkids play on the floor. I hope the owners put some money back in to the property to make it worth staying at, until then we won't stay there again

Hotel was dirty . Our bathroom had so much hair on the shower wall and drain . Room had dirty floors and slider was so dirty you could not see out of . No coffee , decaf only ( old worn out packet ). We had no towels , had to go to front desk . Old bagels left in the kitchen area . Interesting that reviews were all 8 and 10. One from last week saying restaurant was wonderful ( restaurant has been closed for some time ). These are fake reviews . Have lost confidence in Expedia after this stay and no Devin’s .

I used to stay at the Polynesian Resort in Ocean Shores regularly, but unfortunately, the quality has dropped significantly over the past couple of years. During our recent visit, we encountered numerous cleanliness issues — dirty and stained blankets, a pull-out bed in poor condition, and carpets that were filthy and damaged. On the second-level balcony, another guest’s blankets sat outside their door for over 24 hours without being picked up by staff. Our own balcony had a can full of cigarette butts when we arrived. The TV was not mounted as expected, instead sitting on a table while the empty wall mount stuck out awkwardly. Dishes in the room were dirty, so we had to hand wash them before use. It was so unclean that we didn’t allow our dog to lie directly on the floor, instead laying down blankets for him. Given the condition of the room, it feels unreasonable to charge a pet fee — we left the room in cleaner condition than when we arrived. I truly hope management addresses these issues, as this used to be a wonderful place to stay, but at present, I can’t recommend it.

They upgraded us to a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen. Had our lab with us and it was perfect. Only downside was people above us had a birthday party until a little after midnight and were a little loud. We didn’t complain as it is first weekend of summer break for a lot of the families. Felt bad for the rooms right next door though.

Check in was super easy. The room was amazing it was alot of space and right next to the beach with a trail directly to the beach. The pool was great a little cold , but i used the hot tub which was great as well. The only two things were 1 i didn't have shampoo only conditioner and it didnt have unlimited hot water like most hotels do. And lastly the people above me were really loud in the morning running, stomping and yelling and playing mysic loudly. Otherwise it was a great stay and would stay again.

Cute vintage feel. Grassy area begin build leads to trail to the beach. Furniture in rooms is soft & well used. Water heater is in bedroom closet & hummed all night. No AC in rooms.

This was the best money I ever spent. I thought we booked a room that was adjoining. No this was like a whole apartment to ourselves. The pool, hot tub and sauna were working. The staff was super nice and they have adult only hours from 9 to midnight. The furniture is super outdated but it’s charming. The beds were comfortable and clean but the floors had major stains. My family and I had a great time. Spacious room with fully stocked kitchen ware just pop it in the dishwasher before you check out. I’m really happy with our stay and don’t think I will stay anywhere else after this.

The staff were great, the public areas were quite nice, and there was plenty of storage space in the room. However, the hot water in the shower didn't last 10 minutes. The only group of usable plug-ins were on the opposite wall from the bed. And there were no lights by the seating area, making that part of the room useless. After dark. The bathroom itself looked like it was due for an update, especially the doors under the sink and the area around the tub. But it was a basic room, and I got what I paid for.use

Been coming to Ocean Shores for years, but this time we had condo 219, it is in need of a serious update on the furniture and carpet! The unit stunk so bad, we went to the store and bought candles, the carpet was grimy, couch and chairs were so worn, ripped and lacked comfort! Oh and WiFi didn’t work…called front desk and they said they might be able to contact maintenance?!

We went to check in at 3pm. They said to come back at 3:30. We came back at 4 and our room was not ready. In fact we had to wait 2 more hours until our room was ready. There was hair on the bathroom floor and on the hair dryer, we had no towels or hand towels. We only got 2 wash cloths. It just was not a good start to our stay. I will think twice before we go back there.

Booked through expedia and total was supposed to be significantly less than what I got charged at first. Front desk charged my card without telling me the total, told me it got declined so my husband had to transfer money, then she added another fee on top and charged a third amount. Front desk didn’t tell me the amount at first and said it got declined. Then she added a fee of some sort, and then another fee for having a dog (even though I clicked that option when choosing the room) the told me she would take the first fee off. Printed my receipt that showed she charged me a 4th price- different than the 3 charges on my card. All 3 charges were pending, two were pending as reversals. But why were 3 different amounts ran on my card, and why was I argued with about the total my email says specially what I’ll be paying at the hotel but “sometimes it’s different than what the 3rd party booking app says” which has literally never been the case, so I was lied to. After we left the next day, I had another reversal on my card for a decent chunk. Absolutely insane for all of that to happen and then to be charged a 5th amount, still not equal to the expedia amount promised, in the end. Which really, I didn’t agree to, but whatever. Some bull crap. The carpeted floor was also wet in the room, and no AC in the room for air flow. Noisy neighbors, room doors slam so hard they’ll take you out, all in all, terrible experience.
Booked through expedia and total was supposed to be significantly less than what I got charged at first. Front desk charged my card without telling me the total, told me it got declined so my husband had to transfer money, then she added another fee on top and charged a third amount. Front desk didn’t tell me the amount at first and said it got declined. Then she added a fee of some sort, and then another fee for having a dog (even though I clicked that option when choosing the room) the told me she would take the first fee off. Printed my receipt that showed she charged me a 4th price- different than the 3 charges on my card. All 3 charges were pending, two were pending as reversals. But why were 3 different amounts ran on my card, and why was I argued with about the total my email says specially what I’ll be paying at the hotel but “sometimes it’s different than what the 3rd party booking app says” which has literally never been the case, so I was lied to. I was initially hesitant due to recent reviews, but I enjoyed my stay. The room was warm, quiet, clean, and the bed was just right—not sagging or too firm. The staff were incredibly nice and professional. I can't wait to return with my kids to enjoy the pool and game room!

The staff was wonderful and so helpful and hardworking. We enjoyed the board games and the room. It definitely shows the age of the place but you can tell the staff does their best to make it great. Things not the fault of the hotel, a super huge loud extended family was so loud upstairs and filled the pool to the max 😆

We were heading to Washington for a family wedding. Found this place through an app and ended up booking for 2 nights. We got a 1 bedroom suite with a living room and a decent kitchen area. The 2 ladies that welcomed us Friday the 15th in the evening were AMAZING! So very helpful and answered every question i had kindly and helpfully. So things are a little dated, the location was great for us. We enjoyed our stay very much. The path to the ocean was cool, it's a long walk but worth it. 4 out of 5 employees we talked at the front desk were great, kind and helpful. I wish I would have got their names to thank them personally! And 2 other gentlemen that were kind and helpful when we needed towels, ect. 1 older gentleman on the 16th of Aug, Saturday morning, was rude and acted annoyed that I had any questions. I Was excited to see the other 2 ladies that evening, that helped with check in the night before. If we are ever back in the area we will probably stay here again!

My wife and her sister stayed in the hotel. Good sides: The room was clean, the third floor was great, they had a view of the ocean in the distance, and the hotel had friendly staff and plenty of parking. Downsides: It was a little noisy, and guests were smoking weed. Overall stay was great!

This is not a motel room but a suite: living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, there's even a working fireplace. There's a games room, exercise room and other such amenities, and it's a ten minute walk from the Pacific Ocean with one of the biggest, most beautiful beaches in Creation. All this, and because we're well past peak season, we paid a bit less than what we paid for our bare-bones accomodation in Forks, WA. I would recommend this place to anyone..

This is my first time staying here was very impressed with the staff.They were very friendly. I loved the pool, sauna, hot tub. It is an older property, but very clean and comfortable.Lots of hot water, good water pressure, comfortable bed, ample parking easy to find. Highly recommended would definitely stay there.again. it is also very quiet.Did not hear much noise from other units.

The hotel is in a good location, it's in front of the beach, but it's an old hotel but they're trying to maintain it as best they can, but for the price I can't complain much, I really liked that the rooms are large, it has a living room, kitchen and bedroom, I liked that a lot.

Our family had a great time at the Polynesian. The check-in was quick, which we appreciated after a long car ride, and the staff was great. We were very happy with our room, it had everything we could have ever needed. We spent some time in the pool and hot tub and the arcade and overall we had a great time. In the evening, we used their trail to walk right to the beach and it was a huge convenience not having to get in our car and get it all sandy.

We stayed here out of nostalgia as I remember this hotel from the 70's when we used to visit Ocean Shores. Age has caught up with it but for an old hotel in a marine environment it's in good condition. Furnishings are old but carpet and paint are newer. Nice location in the middle of Ocean Shores with walkable beach access. Nice staff, just don't have high expectations for an ultra modern hotel. Big yard and activity areas so it is a great place for a family or group to stay.

The staff are AMAZING! So helpful and kind. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken so getting our luggage up and down was not the easiest. We had our dogs and were not informed until we got there that we could not leave them to grab dinner unless it was at the hotel’s restaurant which they closed early without any previous warning. The building is dated but had some great amenities.

Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly, helpful and took care of our needs. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars was because the restaurant was closed down and there wasn’t a continental breakfast. We had to go off site for all our meals.

Very unfortunate that this property is not being taken care of. When we got there our room was not stocked with anything, I had to wait for them to bring stuff. The hot tub was filthy and unusable. Couldn't go out onto the balconies as they were under renovation. Couldn't get the restaurant to answer the phone so not sure why they say they have room service. I asked for handicap room and ended up on the third floor. The TV in the bedroom wouldn't work at all.

The room we had was a 2 bed queen basic room, the price we got it for was great and even just being a basic room it was decent! The pool is a bit cold, the hot tub is good. Had breakfast at their restaurant which was great!

The kids loved the game room and board game lounge, and the pool. We had great food and service at the restaurant for Thanksgiving! My only suggestion would be installing a larger, real hot tub.

The front desk staff is very rude. And just stares at you in silence. The beds were horrible! You mobed on the bed and it rocked all over. Not to mention they felt like the beds were about 20 to 30 years old. There is no breakfast. The hot tube was broken down. And the whole place needs a revamp. I used to work there about 15 years ago. When I worked there this was one of the top notch resorts. It was really nice back when Carl Hansen and Becky Glasgow ran the place. They actually care about there guest and the hotel.i am appalled that it has ran down so much. It is not worth the $76 I paid for the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!
