I didn't like that there wasn't an elevator as I have a foot injury and we were on the third floor. I didn't like that the bathroom was tiny. They need to have Keurig coffee makers in the room with a better selection of drinks. I can't drink caffeine and it would have been nice to have more options. I do know that they had more downstairs but I only used the stairs twice a day. I loved having the balcony and a beautiful view.

Terrible dense nasty odor hits you once you open the room door! Very old 3-story building structure with NO elevator and NO AC ! The sink makes squeeze noise and the sewer bounces back from the drain ! Very poor reception service for such a price !

Loved to proximity to the water, stepped on the balcony and water is right below and the sound of the waves were lovely. The sliding door to our balcony lock was broken (room 206) and in the early morning the pipes to the sink (in the wall) were knocking so loud the room on the complete opposite side were banging on our wall in frustration. The heating unit had digital numbers that were so bright it light up the whole room all night and its so high up the wall you can't cover it up to block the light. The room and view are nice for what you pay but needs plumbing maintenance and to fix the door. Fyi - No elevator.

This is an older property. The carpeted outside walkways were filthy but the room was clean. Be aware there is no elevator here and even the ground level has several steps to climb. The area around the hotel is a mixture of new and rundown buildings. No frills here but convenient to ferry. The views of the water were a nice bonus.

This place actually exceeded my expectations. Friendly front desk and plenty of parking. I loved that you could book which floor you wanted - I don't like people above me, so I avoided that possibility with booking the 3rd floor. Room was clean and very spacious. Excellent balcony with chairs and amazing views right on the water. Quiet location and easy to access. Price was great too. One last positive - the towels and linens were incredibly soft, softer than I can get them at home!!

I had a waterfront room which was great! You are right on the water and can hear the waves. The person at the front desk was helpful. There's no elevator and we were on the third floor. There is a laundry across the street. There are a couple of restaurants on the street although I didn't stop at them. They are planning updates during the winter season such as phones and clocks.

Clean and surprisingly quiet. The beach out back is accessible and a nice walk when the tides are low. Staff is friendly and helpful. The space was small, but I didn't need much just for me, so it was perfect for an affordable weekend getaway.

Staff at check in was very friendly. Location of hotel was gorgeous, especially the waterfront room I had. Unfortunately when I rolled back the sheets to climb in bed for the night, after a long day of travel, I was completely grossed out to find them covered in black body hair, not head hair, but body hair. Not just a little, from the pillow down to the foot area. There were also a few small pieces of grass. The front desk was already closed for the evening, so I had zero options. Thankfully the top side of the sheets appeared to be cleaner. Upon check out, I did notify the very disheveled looking front desk employee. Although she did apologized, it was mostly filled with excuses.

The view is its only redeeming quality. The room stinks to high heaven. There are stains on the bedding, chari and floor. Debris and sand still on balcony. Tub stopper and phone do not work. Wifi is too weak for work. They didn't clean the room for what they call stay overs.

My husband and I agree that our accomodations at this hotel were satiisfactory. We felt safe there. The bed was clean and comfortable. However this hotel was really showing its age. The carpeting on the floors was very aged and dirty!! The rooms were quiet. The glass door had a nice view of the harbor with an interestimg variety of boats coming and going. We missed the comfy lounge and the breakfast in the morning. Oh! The hotel clerk was very pleasant!

Loved the balcony and view. The room was clean and comfy. Easy walk to town. Very nice. The pipes from another room ? were very noisy at times and people above us kept walking around their room ,loudly, until after midnight.

Bed was comfy, cozy, fresh linens. Balcony room allowed us to feel the cool breeze from the water made for good sleep. Although the screen needs repair and the blast from the early morning ferry was a surprising wake up. Might consider notifying customers its not a hotel alarm.

Room is large and attractively renovated (except for some furniture with signs of wear). Excellent staff. Power outlets near the bed & bedside tables both sides always nice to have. Good value. Things that keep the prices down are no elevator or breakfast.

I booked for 3 days and was unable to make it for the first day. I phoned the hotel directly to effect the change in dates. I was told that a cancellation fee would apply for the missed day but they would reserve the 3 days. When we returned to the room on the second day all our luggage was in the lobby and we were told the 3rd day was no longer available. All the hotels were booked in the town and we had to drive 30 miles before we found a room for the night. I will never use this hotel again.

When she appeared, she apologized and indicated that she had been working elsewhere and had not realized someone was waiting. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WAY TO ALERT HER TO MY PRESENSCE! The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows very large and hard. The fridge was so loud that I had to unplug it.

It was close to the ferry and we had to leave before 6am so that was a plus. Having a room on the 3rd floor and no elevator was inconvenient and the fact that no one was in the office until 3pm and then the office closed at 7pm was very inconvenient.

It's a great place to stay and enjoy Port Townsend. The only bummer is that they are super understaffed so we were not able to check in a little early. But always a great time in PT!

Nice basic property on the water, near downtown. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. I would recommend if you are looking for a bare bones property. It is next door to the Pour House, which is a perk.

Location is great.....rooms are comfortable...price is reasonable....nice view It would be a big improvement if they could provide some sort of complimentary breakfast. We were happy to stay there.

Reception staff unfriendly. Comfortable bed. Furnishings very old. Should put sign up directing guests to back of building with view of water; space enough for lots of benches. Currently not inviting at all. Absotulely nothing provided for breakfast; could have at least juice and muffins. No receipt given at time of payment in cash. No AC; box fan in room. Advise bringing own fan to be comfortable in room during hot weather. Bathroom fan for moisture control not usable; timer for fan scratched so much the setting numbers are unreadable. No clock in room. Printed TV guide would be helpful. Large soils on carpet.

Our room looked out on the harbor and we could see the boats coming and going. One morning we watched a mother deer and her fawns on the beach. We found some nice dining options that were very close.

There is no elevator, and no breakfast, but the location can't be beat! Clean and nice room, even a balcony! Just right! I'll be back!

A great location right on the water. Definitely worth it to get a with a view. Super helpful and friendly. Easy free parking. Only complaint would be the bathroom fan and heater seemed to have to both run at the same time. Not quite ideal for the summer.

Stayed two nights, Hotel only cleans first day. No breakfast, no screen on window, people walking by could easily look into room. Room was not ready by 3pm, had to wait. Towels i room were not dried , still moist from laundry.
