The room with clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and building was quiet at night. Hallways and stairwells were very hot and humid. Had to use the stairwells because the elevator was very non-responsive. Breakfast was not great. The eggs were not very good and I avoided them after the 1st day. My brother had his truck broken into in the parking lot at night and tools stolen. The parking lot is not well lit at night and no security cameras. When my brother called the police they told him other vehicles had been broken into in the area. This area although not run down is not safe at night. Although the hotel is not that bad, I would not park a vehicle outside at night.

I have stayed here for three work trips within six weeks and each time the rooms were clean, beds very supportive and comfortable, and the water pressure consistently strong. One drawback: The swimming pool is FREEZING, dreary, and appears less clean than you might wish. I never saw towels.

Check in was good! The front desk man was friendly and let us check in early. Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool was grimy looking with big brown/black smears on the bottom-does not look like it had been cleaned. During the evening we went to play cards in the lobby and there was a bucket collecting a leak dropping from the ceiling.. fast forward to 11 AM when we checked out the bucket was still there and it does not look like anyone was looking on fixing it even though it was in the middle of the entrance . During the night there were kids running up and down the hallway on and off till 230 am, and we had to ask for breakfast to be refilled although there was an hour left and when I asked if they could make more food the lady at the front desk didn’t acknowledge my question and just walked to the kitchen and didn’t answer me.

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff is quick, friendly, and helpful. Elevator is very very slow. Would also see the hotel have vending machines and ice machines on all 3 floors. Overall very satisfied with my stay

We just stayed for one night, and the location was ideal for our needs. The room and property were clean overall, although I will say the pool is looking a little rundown and discolored. We chose not to swim. We were also very disappointed to find no hot tub. The breakfast was decent with hot options. Overall, we would stay again.

There was razor stubble in the sink. I called ahead because we had 8 rooms and they did not do a rhing til we got there. When I called at 3:30, they said they "hoped" the rooms would be ready. Check in was at 3. And when I attempted to get hot water for tea at 3:30 it was cold. I asked the front desk clerk if they could warm it, and she responded I could do it in my room. We stayed at a HIEx in Platteville recently and compared to our stay there, the staff here was not at all friendly or helpful.

Older hotel that has clearly been renovated which is great but you can still see some of the old “parts”. Our room was fine except for the giant seam in the middle of the room where the new carpet was put in and you kept catching your toes on it. Other than that it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfy.

The room was okay but the showers didn’t work properly, the ac wasn’t working , staff came to our room at 8:00 saying that we checked out and no one understood English . I tried going to the pool and non of The doors worked . When I went to front desk the lady never made eye Contact and sat their reading her book while talking to be .she talked To me Like a Was Bothering her . I had to go back three Tims just yet f to get in the pool And a Maintenance guy finally let me In . He said all Doors don’t work

We were given an early check in which was nice. Place was clean, breakfast had a nice selection. Only issue we had was a potential security problem. My key card got deactivated by my phone. I went to the desk to get a new one. I told the clerk my room number, and he punch in my number, but for a different floor. When I went back, he redid the card no problem. My only concern is that neither time did he ask me to verify the name on the room or ask me to identify myself.

No sense of urgency from staff even when there were 6 people all waiting to check in. When entering/exiting, there was no acknowledgement from staff (hello, hi, anything). The area surrounding the hotel was not great. We ran to the grocery store across the street and an associate was telling us about an incident with a gun and something getting hit over the head bleeding. The hotel does take extra precautions, like need a key to enter after certain hours, but I would have selected another hotel had I realized.

I arrived to check in at 10:30p, and staff was unable to figure out how to get me checked in until 11:15p. In the process, they tried to swipe my card for incidentals at least five times. This resulted in two different holds on my card. Then, at 11:30p, staff called my room to ask me to come back and sign papers because their printer hadn't worked before. Lastly, although I had paid for my reservation in full through Expedia, the hotel processed one of the pending charges for $128.39, so now I have to deal with a dispute via my credit card. Unacceptable.

My stay was the night of August 9th at the Holiday Inn Brown Deer. The flash floods hit Milwaukee that night. Early the morning of the 10th, we had no power. As a result, there was no breakfast, no electricity in the room, and no elevator use. After walking down the stairwell in the dark from the 3rd floor, we found no employee at the checkout desk. There were security/liability concerns when we found no hotel staff. When I called the hotel the following day to see if the customers that evening would be given some type of compensation for the inconvenience, they informed me there would not given it was a natural disaster. I asked them if I'd be given that same grace if I weren't able to make it for check-in if I experienced my own natural disaster such as a death in the family. I was given no suitable answer. It seems unfair that the customer be held completely responsible for the consequences of the natural disaster and Holiday Inn Brown Deer assumes none.

This hotel was located in a bad area of town. There was a shooting at a large store nearby the last night of our trip. We stopped for a drive-thru meal and were very stressed by the darkness of the area, street lights broken-out and the characters lurking nearby. Hotel had typical rooms and great breakfast. Reasonable price! Just be careful at night!

It was pretty close to where the wedding we attended was (Bavarian Bierhaus) in a good neighborhood. They were able to accommodate my request for an early check in. the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was decent.

We were vendors for the Strawberry Fest in Cedarburg. It was a great location. Easy to get in and easy to get home. The motel seems to be remodeled great shower, clean, and good breakfast to get us started.

Room was fine, clean. Bathroom door was hard to open, so we didn’t close it in worries our child would get stuck in there. The pool was very disappointing. The water was so cold! The breakfast while it looked good, was not great. We would not stay here again.

Front desk staff were friendly and professional. The room (a King on the 2nd floor) was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Bed and pillows sufficiently fresh enough that I didn't feel I was trying to sleep on the divots made by six thousand previous guests -- I prefer this firmer, just slightly plush mattress. Shower is sizeable with a rainshower head and full-sized name-brand products. Water pressure and temperature were good (though it was about 5:15 am on a Wednesday, so YMMV). Only downside -- towels were really "crunchy" instead of soft. They've probably been bleached to within an inch of their lives. But otherwise, a perfectly comfortable room at a decent hotel, with personable and professional staff. Would stay again!
