Hampton Inn Janesville

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, rooms were clean and nice. Location was good and close to a lot of places to eat. Will definitely go back if in the area!

Pool was shut down and construction going on all day even on Saturday with heavy smell of paint and glue and non stop pounding.

The pool wasn’t that nice but overall it was a decent stay

Allowed dogs but the $50 fee is excessive when they dont create any added cleaning. Will stay again.

Right next door to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. I was really looking forward to a swim but it was down.

Always a great stay. We have been staying here a lot recently and will continue to do so. My son goes to college in the area and we are attending the football games. The staff is always friendly and gives great dining advice. Rooms are clean and parking is well lit.

I am very frustrated while checking, to find out a pet fee can be $25-$75 depending on location. In Buffalo out west, the gentleman said “I will match your last Hampton inn price of $25. THAT IS how you do business! We will be traveling to Idaho and Michigan often, and I can promise you we will not stay in Janesville. Also, the grounds looked neglected and not welcoming…compare to Buffalo and you will see what I mean!!

Hotel in a good location. Has some wear & tear. Room could have been cleaner, there was hair all over the bathroom. Breakfast was ok.

We stayed here last November. The room was like we were the first people to use it. I’d like to know what they use to launder the bedding; it feels and smells sooo good. Floor plan is perfect,beds r very very comfortable, towels etc soft, amenities were perfect-hand lotion and shower items on the wall (good idea to have on the wall), easy to use tv remote. The breakfast provided is nutritious, well presented, clean. The gentleman monitoring it was super good assuring it was well stocked, the frig holding milk etc ( the milk cartons were exactly straight with labels “front and center.” He himself was well groomed and friendly; proud of his job. The front desk gals were again the most helpful (morning crew) Like ever. Business could learn from them.

The room was very clean, bed comfortable, plenty of pillows and liked the shampoo, conditioner and lotion that were plentiful in the bathroom.

The room felt neglected and attention to detail routine cleaning is being overlooked. Dead lady bugs on AC unit and on the ceiling. The cabinet in the bathroom has splatter marks on it. The toilet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a year. The AC unit was constantly making a weird noise all night.

This hotel was clean, comfortable, had a good location to Janesville’s Milton Avenue. The staff was all friendly. No complaints at all.

The room was so welcoming. I loved the personal message on the TV screen greeting me. The bed was so comfortable! The black out shade helped me sleep in. I felt so rested. I’ll definitely stay again.

My king room was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size.

I was there for one night only so my experience only comes from a later check in. The front desk staff at check in was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is located off a major road so there was some road noise in my room, but the room was clean. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel the next day, but checkout was too easy. If you're stopping through Janesville, I deft recommend this for a stay

Do not let them assign you a room by the lobby. It was very noisy all night. After 10:00 I called to ask it there was a quiet time in the motel. The front desk took care of the problem then another group came to the lobby and was loud. Also at 5:30 AM the breakfast crew came in and we could hear every work they said - which woke us up. Not a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for one night on a road trip and it was our favorite hotel. The rooms were clean and well laid out, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was lovely. There are a couple things within walking distance if you’re traveling (Cracker Barrel, Walgreens, convenience store). The area was safe and quiet. Breakfast had a lot of options, but it was all standard hotel breakfast options. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the worst Hampton my wife and I had ever stayed at. Room was tiny , no microwave or fridge in the room. Instructions for blinds was ridiculously small and hardly able to read. Almost seems as if this started out to be a different hotel and was then purchased by Hilton. Directions to get there were not good. Some of the food was okay but not all of it. Staff was accommodating.

This hotel was a terrible experience, and we wish we would have booked a different hotel. There was essentially a party going on in the common main area late into the night past the quiet time (drinking alcohol and loudly watching TV), and they had shoved us in a room right next to the common Main area. There were three of us there for business, and it was a horrible Sunday since we didn't get a good night's sleep. The staff was completely useless in helping, the night receptionist couldn't get them to stop, and he was clearly new there and overwhelmed, but he told me I could get a refund in the morning when I talked to the morning staff. When I asked for a refund in the morning and I was told no. The receptionist tried to argue that the party was well within quiet time, but I had taken a picture of the quiet time rules. After that failed she was quite rude. She asked "well didn't you get any sleep? So you did get some sleep?" She then asked me what do I want from talking to her. I told her there's a satisfaction guarantee, which was even posted on their countertop, and if you weren't satisfied you get a refund. She did not agree. All I could get was a lousy discount. What a waste of money. I would've had a better experience in a cheaper hotel, and we had chosen this one hoping spending the extra money would ensure a restful weekend. We usually have a good time with this chain of hotels, so it was so surprising. We're never staying at this location ever again.

Everything was nice. Once it became later in the night, there were no front desk people in case we needed anything. Most times we waited until morning for needs because of this

Cracker barrel access

I had a hard time getting to hotel. Not liking the directions. With the directions I couldn’t get to the hotel with that new diamond pattern. Have stayed there before but this was all new

Stopover stays are often for us and this hotel is now on our list. After six or eight hours of travel, this room was comfortable and the bed outstanding. The morning shower experience was excellent as well. The breakfast offerings were plenty and the food looked fresh and protected.

It was very clean, quiet, the staff was amazing and friendly. Good breakfast. The room we had commondated my mom because she is on a cane. This was my second time staying there and I will stay there again.
