Hotel was OK. Kind of depressing, pool was empty and paint was peeling off the walls in the pool area. There was something wrong with the hot tub jets and the rocks around it were broken and looked low class because instead of fixing it they just put caution tape around the area. The room was okay, nothing special. The bed had some stains and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. For some reason the sink water didn’t get hot, only warm. Breakfast was very mediocre. Wasn’t a bad stay, but definitely wasn’t great. Good for a short term stay.

Its a decent place for the price. A bit outdated with small bathrooms. Bed was comfortable. The pool was clean with a hot tub that had about 20% of the jets working. Don't plan on much for workouts, the fitness room is minimal at best with a tread, recumbent bike and some dumbbells. The breakfast is your typically free hotel breakfast. Overall, for the price is okay

Hotel in general was fine. Breakfast was a little sub-par, but adequate. We stayed there for the Wisconsin State Bowling Tournament. The only elevator was broken and we were stuck on the 3rd floor. Trying carrying a 3 ball bowling bag up 3 flights of stairs! Awful! Hotel was clean and parking was safe. Would not stay there again after this situation.

The property is great! Staff was nice and polite! Room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable! Breakfast was ok, unfortunately they didn't have decaf coffee and it was not to big of choice of food. Pool area was big and nice, but big pool was cold, hot tub didn't work properly. Hope they will improve the pool area. Because it is a great hotel and it would be nice to see the importance maintenence done to the pool.

I have been coming up to the area once a month to clean for my cleaning business for the past couple of months. So far I have stayed at 4 different hotels, and this one has been my favorite yet. The only issue I had is when I went the hot tub was down and I always look forward to sitting in the hot tub.

My only complaint would be that most of the staff only speaks Spanish and was hard to communicate when you needed to get something or to explain something. Overall, good place to stay if you don’t mind double beds instead of queens.

We stayed here twice. The first time was great in room 314. The second time was in an upgraded corner room (Named antlers attic or something like that). It was on the opposite side of the building from the first room. Traffic noise was loud, air conditioner was loud and plumbing noises were loud. We did appreciate the spaciousness of the second room and the beuriful stone floor in the shower. The room has a wet bar and a high top table, a leather sofa (creaky sounding when someone moves on it) and a chair with ottoman In addition to the usual furniture. We would definitely stay here again but not in that room.

Booked this hotel as it had a rustic look in the photos. In reality it is large multi-story property about equivalent to a Super 8. Don’t be fooled by the photos. They have decorated the lobby and parts of the rooms with rustic wood, but the Formica counters in the bathroom remain. We had a “Deluxe” double. The room was very small and the bathroom very cramped. A train runs nearby but we didn’t have any My Cousin Vinny moment

Reservation was for a king, mentioned at check in, received 2 double beds... toilet seat wouldnt stay up because counter was in the way. Just not impressed. Facility was clean and nothing wrong with the place. Just not happy the way things played out. Would consider a second stay.

The property and staff are great. Just wish the A/C had been turned on before we arrived. It was like 90 degrees in our room and took a long to cool down some we could go to bed comfortably.

The evening staff person was not helpful when we brought an issue to their attention about the whirlpool not working in our room. The earlier front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful during checkin. The facility itself was nice!

The property is fine. The staff was poor! We checked in late, at 12:15am, which I totally understand is late!! Nobody was at the desk. We waited almost 30 minutes to find someone. I tried the phone, it rang repeatedly. Finally some person came in the front door who must have worked there. He found someone to help. This is the interaction with that person after waiting and waiting. "Checking in? Name? I need a drivers license and credit card for incidentals. Your room 306, enjoy your stay." That is the maximum that he spoke to us. No greeting, no sorry to keep you waiting, no nothing! In the morning we came down to leave and maybe grab breakfast. The lady at the front desk just barked at us - "what are you looking for?" We said breakfast and she directed us, but we didn't stay. The staff is so unfriendly, I would never stay again.

This was a great value for the money, and very clean. Service was friendly. The only downside was it was a bit noisy--trains and freeway nearby, and walls are a bit thin. Bring ear plugs and it's great!

Room was super damp and humid. Shower head was super low. Bed was average but pillows were mehh. Breakfast was bland and the same thing with not a lot of options. Staff seems put off your there. But won’t stay again with having a super damp room and my coworkers room was the same way.

We are on motorcycles and got stuck at the hotel die to a bad storm at dinner time. The bar served cold beverages and had tombstone pizzas. Winner! I envisioned chips from a vending machine and was so glad for the pizza. Would come in handy if travelling with kids as well!

I wish I had reasons to visit Wausau more because of this hotel. I love the esthetic of the whole place, the atmosphere, the staff was super friendly and helpful right from the very first interaction. The room was clean, well maintained, I appreciate that we were able to keep the temperature controlled at comfy level without it being one extreme or the other. The pool area was fun and well stocked with towels. The breakfast is abundant and tasty, so much to choose from! My only conplaint is that there is not a lot of seating in the breakfast area, so we had to juggle our plates and drinks while going in the elevator and getting into our room which did not have adequate space to set our food down and eat. And by the time we got settled, waffles were cold. Even so, we were overall very impressed with the accomodations, especially for the reasonable price.

The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The hotel surroundings are plain. The breakfast is very lacking in healthy options. Too much carbs. The precooked eggs must have come from a mix, looked very dry. No whole grain breads, and the yogurt was all sugared……

Breakfast was just ok. Need to improve in that area. Coffee was bitter. The whole complex needs to be updated, but still is nice and comfortable. We stayed three nights. Our trash was emptied daily, but the bed was never made and we got fresh towels once. Had to ask for a blanket as what they had for bedding was thin and old. Bedding did have stains. Had to ask for soap for the shower. We used the pool and hot tub. Hot tub jets were not working properly like they did in January when we stayed here. Good location to get on and off highway and they do allow pets.

The breakfast wasn't the most fantastic thing but they did have eggs, sausage, waffles and cereal. Really the only thing that I was missing was bagels. Would have been nice to have like a conference room or a gathering room with tables to play board games at.

We liked the location. The only downside was there wasn’t enough seating for breakfast. A lot of people had to take food back to their rooms. We were lucky enough to go to the bar area to sit which was in another area. Oh and there was only one waffle maker which I heard several people say they should have at least one more.
