My son with Autism wanted to go to an indoor water park for his 6th birthday. Check in was not until 4:00pm. The park is only open 4:00pm -8:00pm on Friday’s and right in the middle the kiddie splash area was shut down. For about 45mins to 60so he had little time to play.

Room was dusty but clean otherwise. Water park wasn’t fully functioning. Only 2 limited dining options & almost nothing for adult beverage options. Weird drinks for “seasonal” drinks and like 3 options. Honestly was pretty disappointing for what you pay. We go to another waterpark regularly with a cheaper price point or similar depending on the demand and for that we get access to multiple different dining spots, multiple water parks, property transportation, full kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, 2 living spaces, washer and dryer, we had tried this place out as our normal spot was booked up. Not really sure we’d opt to come back. Arcade & mini golfing were nice though.

Very clean hotel, warm waterpark air but not humid. Lazy river was warmest water to lounge in. Huge pretzels at pool cafe were a hit. Coffee maker in our loft room did not work as we found out just before checkout for a cup of coffee. Loft room was expensive at $515.00 as opposed to when we stayed in June few years back at $267.00; same type of room. I asked lady hotel clerk at front desk but got no adjustment for it ; instead had to buy a cup of coffee from the lobby coffee stand. Food at bar restaurant was delicious, patty melt, burger, fries, but they ignored my request to have aioli on the side for shrimp tacos which had tails on them. Pepcid to the rescue that long night. Ice cream parlor was still under construction but looks to be spacious. Souvenir shop was relocated to a 3rd floor conference room. Be prepared to pay $30 for a BH tshirt. Overall would recommend for family stay with the many food options, bar, waterpark, arcade, mini golf, free parking, and shuttle to the villas.

Stayed here for the first time over Memorial Day weekend and my family of 4 will be back. I did t love the food at the hotel, but I liked the staff, the waterpark and the rooms. There is a beach right outside the hotel. It’s a good spot for a long weekend vacation.

Great location centrally located on a beautiful shoreline. Our room was nice and big and it had a fireplace. Indoor waterpark was fun for the whole family. Miniature indoor glow golf was really fun but we do wish it was included in the park pass. My son really enjoyed the community seating areas overlooking the water. The walking path along the shoreline was very nice for the whole family to do. Other local amenities like miniature golf, restaurants and ice cream parlor are great. It seem family friendly and great for grown-ups too.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Service was great and so was the convenience. Was pretty quiet and safe around the property. The indoor water park was decent and the building looks very pretty at night. Visuals are amazing and everything is so clean.

I recently stayed at the Blue Harbor Resort for business and was disappointed. While the room was relatively comfortable, there was a lack of amenities. First, there was no room service, so I needed to order dinner from a delivery service. When I returned to my room after picking up my food in the lobby, my room card no longer worked. Next, I had brought a bottle of wine and hoped to enjoy a glass with dinner. I requested that a wine glass and corkscrew be brought up to the room. I was told there were no restaurants open in the entire resort with a wine glass or corkscrew available - really? However, I could walk back down to the lobby and purchase a multi-tool with a corkscrew attachment. No thank you - I just skipped the wine. Finally, the room did not have a comfortable desk chair and only had a child sized desk, so my room was not designed for business travelers. On the upside, the bed was pretty comfortable, but I was disappointed in my stay overall.

Amazing views, great amenities and the most wonderful and professional staff. Definitely going back. Was a little pricy in some aspects but not in a way that would be cause for a complaint. Definitely worth every penny.

Blue Harbor is great. It is clean, but rooms need a little updating. Water park is great but could use a little refresh. Great place to take family. Dining options around resort are very good. Service at resort could have been a little better. They didn’t make the bed when they came in to refresh the room. Next time I will have to pay a little closer attention to the water park and pool hours. It was the last week of there winter hours so the water park opened at 4pm Friday, was closed Thursday when we arrived. So pay attention to that. If going spring or off peak.

I liked the setting on Lake Michigan, however the property is VERY poorly run. They didn't clean the room as requested. The bar/restaurant area was completely unattended at the lunch hour and then when the bartender did show up she said they weren't serving lunch. I didn't mind their rate of nearly $500/night, assuming it was resort style, however it seemed like they abandoned the place after Labor Day. Also, the "water park" is underwhelming and they wouldn't accommodate my kids with towels when they forgot their towel cards in the room.

This is a great hotel waterpark option for families to get away. The waterpark is clean. Staff is friendly and it’s not too crowded. This is our second stay with them. We will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at the Blue Harbor Resort for business and was disappointed. While the room was relatively comfortable, there was a lack of amenities. First, there was no room service, so I needed to order dinner from a delivery service. When I returned to my room after picking up my food in the lobby, my room card no longer worked. Next, I had brought a bottle of wine and hoped to enjoy a glass with dinner. I requested that a wine glass and corkscrew be brought up to the room. I was told there were no restaurants open in the entire resort with a wine glass or corkscrew available - really? However, I could walk back down to the lobby and purchase a multi-tool with a corkscrew attachment. No thank you - I just skipped the wine. Finally, the room did not have a comfortable desk chair and only had a child sized desk, so my room was not designed for business travelers. On the upside, the bed was pretty comfortable, but I was disappointed in my stay overall.

Very clean hotel, warm waterpark air but not humid. Lazy river was warmest water to lounge in. Huge pretzels at pool cafe were a hit. Coffee maker in our loft room did not work as we found out just before checkout for a cup of coffee. Loft room was expensive at $515.00 as opposed to when we stayed in June few years back at $267.00; same type of room. I asked lady hotel clerk at front desk but got no adjustment for it ; instead had to buy a cup of coffee from the lobby coffee stand. Food at bar restaurant was delicious, patty melt, burger, fries, but they ignored my request to have aioli on the side for shrimp tacos which had tails on them. Pepcid to the rescue that long night. Ice cream parlor was still under construction but looks to be spacious. Souvenir shop was relocated to a 3rd floor conference room. Be prepared to pay $30 for a BH tshirt. Overall would recommend for family stay with the many food options, bar, waterpark, arcade, mini golf, free parking, and shuttle to the villas.

Between Hotels.com and the Blue Harbor Resort they all helped make our stay amazing. We had to change rooms due to extra family coming we needed an upgrade and they handled everything with grace and patience. Lovely people!

The breakfast buffet had very minimal options, most especially for the price - I didn't appreciate paying $10 a child for cereal. Also, for $20 a person for adult, there were very limited choices, and quality was subpar. We went for breakfast with Santa, and he did not stay for pictures as we were not made aware of end time by hostess by the time we had finished breakfast.

Loved walking the Lake and the nearby shops. Unfortunately on a Sunday night not a lot of places are open. Breakfast closes at 8:30 AM on a Monday. Kind of disappointing.

Great location centrally located on a beautiful shoreline. Our room was nice and big and it had a fireplace. Indoor waterpark was fun for the whole family. Miniature indoor glow golf was really fun but we do wish it was included in the park pass. My son really enjoyed the community seating areas overlooking the water. The walking path along the shoreline was very nice for the whole family to do. Other local amenities like miniature golf, restaurants and ice cream parlor are great. It seem family friendly and great for grown-ups too.

I liked the setting on Lake Michigan, however the property is VERY poorly run. They didn't clean the room as requested. The bar/restaurant area was completely unattended at the lunch hour and then when the bartender did show up she said they weren't serving lunch. I didn't mind their rate of nearly $500/night, assuming it was resort style, however it seemed like they abandoned the place after Labor Day. Also, the "water park" is underwhelming and they wouldn't accommodate my kids with towels when they forgot their towel cards in the room.

Weird drinks for “seasonal” drinks and like 3 options. Honestly was pretty disappointing for what you pay. We go to another waterpark regularly with a cheaper price point or similar depending on the demand and for that we get access to multiple different dining spots, multiple water parks, property transportation, full kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, 2 living spaces, washer and dryer, we had tried this place out as our normal spot was booked up. Not really sure we’d opt to come back. Arcade & mini golfing were nice though.

Overall, everything was good. I only had a problem with not being able to order food to the room and things that was on the website saying that was in the room was not in the room available to us like water. I could’ve brought my water if I knew they wasn’t gonna have the water, but it said they have free water.
