We did not receive maid service but were given what we needed for the 2nd day and we were fine with that. TV remote did not work. Pool was closed for part of our stay. Bed was comfortable. Good shower.

Clean pet friendly place - wanted to be at the convention center Holiday Inn across the street but they didn’t accept pets, so we were here. Had the ability to use either pool — the one at Express is smaller but goes to 5ft where the one at the convention center is shallower. Breakfast had the typical stuff - eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, pancakes, muffins - the cinnamon rolls were very tasty and were our favorite. Had to walk the dog and there are sidewalks and grass around the area. Next door is a a grocery store (Aldi’s), Arby’s, a couple different restaurants - McD”s is across Hwy 10.

This was a great central location for our family gathering. The breakfast foods were great. The staff was polite. The rooms were clean and large. The pool was clean but small. TV or remote in room did not work.

It’s great that pets are allowed here. We brought our dog several years ago. However, this time we were pet free and our room on the third floor and our relatives that stayed on the first floor both had a very awful dog smell. It was bad enough that we may not stay here again. It seems there would be a way to clean after pets leave to get rid of the smell.

It's a typical HIE hotel chain in an area with some quick fast food around. I only stayed 2 nights, and the staff was friendly. The room was as expected, and very clean and tidy.

The table top was not clean, something sticky (soda?) spilled there and not cleaned up. Makes me wonder what else was not cleaned.

Weather conditions, melting snow-wet-fog-ice, salt causes foot traffic to drag in a mess. You will need to do carpet cleaning in rooms as well as hallways. We used our wet hot tub towels to clean tile in our room to help minimize soiling room carpet, but carpet needs attention. Room furnishings are showing wear. Friendly Staff, breakfast was tasty, lobby welcoming which we made use of - meeting family & watching bowl game. Enjoyed the hot Tub! Like the location. Happy with room/value with our stay.

Check in was ok and lady was nice but requested a room that was free from pets due to severe dog allergies. She assured me room was a pet free room. As soon as we walked in entire room smelt like dogs. My eyes instantly were itchy after only a few minutes in the room. The smell seemed to be worse when the ax was on and we could See all the dog hair in the WC vents. Had to double up on allergy pills and had to constantly rinse my eyes out so the would swell up. On plus side hotel was quiet and a great location. Room was also updated and appeared clean other than the extremely strong odor of dogs.

Somehow, we ended up with a handicap room and it was very odd. There was no door between the bedroom/bathroom and the TV room/suite. The TV was not working. Had to call for help. The blinds were not working correctly. The fold out couch was horrible. The king bed was OK. The tub is extremely slippery and needs traction strips. For what we got, it was extremely expensive. The continental breakfast was very good.

What I didn't like was being told they needed my card for incidentals, when discussion once I saw 50$ missing from my debit card produced that in fact it was a security deposit, and nothing to that effect was mentioned when I gave my card. I cannot put a fine enough point on this, travellers with a budget in their bank account who prepayed for a stay should not have money vanish during their trip without warning.

Seriously the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered, and not in an annoying fake-friendly way. The desk clerk that checked us in, Andrew, make me feel genuinely welcomed. It was really nice.

When we checked in the friendly and pleasant lady was so helpful and nice. She gave us the option of first and second floor rooms. That really impressed me. Having issues with my ankle I truly appreciate this option.

The pancake machine was broken and there was a couple who had a dog in the lobby while we were eating. Staff wouldn't make more food because they said it wouldn't be done by the time breakfast was over.
