I liked the convenience and the pool and hot tub. Did not like having to be let into the pool by staff and get towels from the front desk. We waited about 10 minutes just to be let into the pool.

Unfortunately there was no pre warning that the hot tub was not in service and the pool is too small for an adult to exercise, swim lenghts. Only good for children. Hotel staff were very understanding and helpful when I discussed my concerns.

Great for kids. The pool has a water slide and other kiddie attractions. Not for adults who want to swim laps. There is outdoor p,ay area, too, and a grill/picnic area. Great money saver for families to cook out.

We choose this hotel for their proximity to Joggins Cliffs. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Perfect for a 1 night stay. Locals can pay a fee to access the pool and do parties so expect crowded pool in summer.

The guy at the front was wonderful!! He was very helpful and friendly even though he was on his own the entire time. The rooms weren't very clean. The beds weren't fully made and some of the pillows had hair on them when we arrived. Also found a slipper and candy under the bed.

The bathroom in 218 had flaking paint on the ceiling by the showerhead. There was hair in the tub. When the people were in the room rught above us, you heard them walking plus their floor our ceiling made so much noise it woke me up. I think some renos should be done. The kids enjoyed the pool and the bed was very nice. I have celiac disease so there wasn't much i could eat, however i am use to it.

This Super 8 was fantastic. Everything is done correctly, clean, comfortable, friendly staff and decor was far superior to many hotels that are much costlier than this hidden gem. Breakfast was the only thing I would rate as average.

Good hotel for one night. Highway can be noisy but the AC fan was enough to not hear it at night. Friendly staff. Hot tub was dirty so didn’t use.

Our window faced the highway which was very loud. The air conditioner was also quite loud. We could hear a bay crying down the hall and the foot falls of the people above us. Not a very restful sleep.

We stayed in a room with a queen and double bunkbeds. After 4 days on the road with two teens the bunkbeds were greatly appreciated and everyone had a great night sleep. The water slide was fast and enjoyed by my older kids.

Room was super small. Older building. Overpriced for amenities 200$ for one night! We stayed at multiple locations this trip..Holiday Inn,Hampton inn and the Super 8 was the on average 50 more/night for less amenities.

While this property met all standard requirements it was average. We were surrounded by noisy neighbours and running children (thin walls) and the pillows were awful making it hard to sleep. The pillows were more like throw pillows and were way too firm.

The staff were terrific. Friendly and efficient. The furniture was scuffed and tired. We couldn't use the pool or hot tub due to 8 to 12 children dominating use of it. Perhaps you could set a time aside each day exclusively for adults? The hotel limits smoking in and around the front of the hotel BUT not only allows but encourages smoking right at the rear entrance which is where any cars parked there are using that entrance. After a few trips in and out, our clothes stank of the cigarette smoke from those sitting at the door smoking. Lastly the breakfast was minimal at best. All in all, not the best stay for us and when in the area again, I doubt we would revisit.

We enjoyed the room with a junior suite, pull out couch and king size bed. We were disappointed having our room be amongst a number of other rooms that were together for a sports team. The young girls played in the hall running and yelling. After a while of this we did ask them to stop since no adults with them did. We could still hear them in a room after. A lot of people came and went and stood talking and running in the hall until around 10 pm.

Family of 4. This was an unexpected stop for us and it was the nicest Super 8 we've ever stayed at. Possibly the nicest stay of our 8 day trip to NS/NB. It was clean and well-kept. The staff was very friendly. They had lots of options for snacks in their "store". It's near the highway - I was the only one in my family to notice the road noise at night. They did have a white noise machine in the room, but my kids didn't want it on (I guess because they couldn't hear the trucks!). Staff was quick to keep the breakfast area clean. Would highly recommend this hotel. We didn't use the pool, but it was busy and had a water slide (word in the elevator was that it was super fast!).

It was not so good because there was a dog that wouldn’t stop barking. We had two rooms, and both of us complained about the dog. We were told that we could get a discount, but when we checked out, the front desk person, said we’d have to “ take it up “ with Expedia. Not good customer service.

We had such a great time! Anna and the other staff members were so friendly and accommodating! There is a nice pool, breakfast and peace and quiet. There is access to restaurants, a hospital, pharmacy - all in great proximity! It is also great to hop on the highway to go to numerous areas to explore! Moncton, Eatonville and Amherst itself. If you love history you really want to check out the Cumberland House Museum located in Amherst! We will be back next summer!

Made to wait for 15 minutes for check-in while staff just chatted with other staff. The noise of road was unbelievable and did not sleep. No power for 8 hours. People were sitting in hallways and kids running up the corridors and down to early hours and not being addressed by staff. Communication from staff on power situation was not explained and no updates. Made to wait for check-out while they chatted again. No apology for lack of power. Expensive and poor service. Camping would have been better.

We arrived for check in, even though I tried to check in the big hot before. They asked for any special requests which I did but they did not happen. There were no wine glasses or corkscrews in the room. I had to go to the desk to ask. We had a room with the jacuzzi tub which was great but not he bunk beds did not have all the sheets on them. The top sheet was under the pillow so my grandson slept with an extra blanket. The pool is awesome for the kids. They don’t even carry carbonated water either in the kitchen or the machines. The continental breakfast was chaos. Everyone trying to get things at the same time.

Very nice facility, clean, comfortable, friendly staff and a convenient location for the start of any trip to Nova Scotia. There is an indoor pool with a spiral slide and a hot tub. The breakfast consisted of toast, bagels make your own waffles, eggs and sausage as well as yogurt, fruit and packaged muffins, juices, tea and coffee.

The facility was very clean and the staff friendly. We reserved a junior suite so that there would be a separate space for me to watch tv without disturbing my husband as he goes to bed much earlier than I. Unfortunately, the tv in the sitting area didn’t work! I did not report it due to the hour and being in my Jammie’s. My only other comment would be that for the size of the hotel there is not enough space for breakfast. They use a key rig coffee maker. It brews fresh coffee but it takes a long time and there ended up being a line. In general not a big deal but when you have a time schedule it can be frustrating.

The staff was great, very friendly. I was upset when we went down for breakfast at 8:30 and there wasn't much left. The only eggs they had was boiled egg sitting in hot water in a crock pot. There was only pork links, but there was an empty tray, I am not sure what was in there. I thought they would refill something, but they didn't.

The area is nice and property is also, hw we were there and it was kids storming the halls all evening and night. Breakfast was ok however we never go to enjoy it as it was all gone way before the end time. Were not abl to enjoy the pool as it was full of kids and parents were letting them run wild through the hotel and pool area. Other then that i am sure it will be a good place too stay. I will give it another try but wil ensure its not a kids hokey weekend.

Loved the pool and water slides, the water was warm! Hot tub was good as well. Breakfast was ok, hard boiled eggs, sausages, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, fruit , yogurt, coffee, tea, juices, better than some continental breakfast. Received an early check in, nice staff! Will go again
