Was clean. Staff was friendly. I was looking forward to the pool though and I had a short stay, but it was closed the whole time for renovation. Not their fault though, it was being renovated. Breakfast options were nice and tasted good. I really liked the fact that we could take our breakfast at any time of the day. Gym only consisted of three machines, a treadmill and two other. Room service was prompt and qualitative. The bed I thought was a bit hard. Not the most comfortable bed, but that’s really just a personal preference. It was not bad at all. There was a hair dryer, an iron ironing board, a fridge, a coffe/tea machine available. There was both a heater and an air conditioner. Overall I had a nice experience.

Pleasant experience. The reception preferred my driver's license over my passport upon check-in which I thought was weird perhaps they seldom get visitors from my home country. Big property, plenty of parking, long hours for pool (outdoor pool with barely any shades so we did not utilize it during the sunny day with heat advisory but we would have otherwise). Included breakfast is actually made to order (we were given 4 options to pick from) which was excellent. Good amenities, good AC, really soft towels and TP which showed they were going for quality. The hallway in the bldg had strong, sickening smell of paint (?) so I knocked off a star. You do need a car to get around. Overall a great value.

I know this hotel was great in its day, but man, it has really deteriorated. Our room was SO smelly of mustiness and urine, it was startling when we opened the door. (and I knew they were sold out that night, so decided not to ask for another room...but we probably should have!) And I've never stayed in such a tiny room! It was pictured as a King and sofa bed, but was a small queen and an old sofa bed that had the mattress on upside down and no sheets or blankets...we had to go to front desk to ask for these items at bedtime as no one answered our voicemail left at front desk call. We had decided to stay here because of the outdoor pool for our grandson, but the tiles on this pool were coated in black mold. I was born and raised in Beresford area, and decided to stay at Danny's for partly nostalgic reasons, and our wedding reception was here 45 years ago and it was the place to be in those days, but oh my...would never stay here again, unless there is a more renovated and less damp and musty area. It was a very hot week and high humidity, and I ran our heat exchange on dehumidifier which helped a bit with the smell and dampness, but it was still pretty funky smelling and disappointing.

Footprints on a floor, but it is half of the problem. Tilted floor in room, so your head below your feets when you sleep in bed. And smell - very stinky room - strong mix of mold, damp and toilet odor. I have to wear mask, and even then barely fall asleep and my sleepwear has to be washed next day to get rid of that smell. No way to ventilate rooms - windows are into hallway that itself has strong odor of plastic. Breakfest has to be ordered. I ordered yougurt, croisant, fruits and juice - croissant was not fully cooked, and fruits from can - sounds very cheap. Botton line - no way it is 4star hotel. Avoid it at all cost.

The staff is absolutely spectacular and very friendly. The reason for the review being the way it is is I found a tube of KY jelly under my bed and it didn't belong to me. The parking lot was absolutely covered in thick ice and very very slippery. Other than the KY jelly the room was clean just an oversight I'm sure. Staff is very friendly.

L'air climatisé dégageait une forte odeur d'humidité et il était impossible d'ouvrir de fenêtres. L'odeur était tellement issuportable que nous avons acheté des sent-bon. Le drain du bain était bouché. La chambre était tellement humide que tout nos vêtements étaient mouillés et les draps aussi. Ce fut vraiment désagréable de séjourner à cet endroit.

Although this is an older facility, the rooms were nicely updated, albeit on the small side. Climate control was managed using a heat pump that provided both AC and heating. Breakfast was great and made to order from the restaurant kitchen. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Danny’s is a grey spot for your snowmobile trip as it’s right on the trails, or just a night or 2 away on little vacation getaway. Catherine at reception and breakfast is a blast. A great asset to have and she is the main reason we come back over and over. She makes our stay extra special. The breakfast and other meals are really good.

1. suite was small. 2. no sheets for sofa bed 3.My friend fell down in the hallway due to an uneven floor. She almost killed herself, her neck cracked, one finger was badly bleeding and now her arm is all swollen. we let front desk know...she never came to check on her and an hour later the blood was still on the floor. we asked to talk to the manager, 4 days later and no news. 4. the same front desk person canceled my payment to then call me to tell me my payment was declined. so not impressed. Very disappointed

My stay at Danny's was fine- the hotel was clean and quiet, which is all I needed for a quick work trip to the Bathurst area. I appreciated the breakfast as well. Unfortunately, weeks later I am still trying to get my deposit back and was charged a second deposit yesterday, even though I haven't been there in weeks. This has been a lot of back and fourth for a simple deposit.

This was a great spot to stop on a roadtrip. It's right on the main road we were traveling. The park area at the back of the hotel was a nice little oasis in the summer. We were lucky enough to have the small pool to ourselves during our stay. Great soaker tub in the room. Two downsides to this accommodation: the shag carpet in the room was pretty gross and in my mind unnecessary. The area carpeting was sufficient enough. No one wants to walk in a shag rug in bare feet that countless other people have used. The second and most notable downside was the free breakfast at the small restaurant. My partner doesn't eat eggs and when we asked if the eggs could be substituted for another portion of bacon, were told the cook "would not do that"- we were willing to pay extra for this. The bacon was awful. And I don't mean just overcooked. My partner and I both tried it and it was obviously rancid. I would like to think that had nothing to do with our request for extra. You get what you pay for, evidently. Something to work on, perhaps.

The room was clean, but there were two small chairs in room that were past their prime. The chairs need to be thrown out!!! The duct tape is not doing the job. The towels were old and had stains on them. The towels need to be thrown away. The towels are past their prime and should be used as rags. The bottom sheet did not cover mattress entirely. The bath shower curtain is past its prime too.

Outdoor pool** heated was not open ** tub neither. Sadly Our sink was leaking in the room. They sent one guy with no tools , no light to take a look on it . He said he will come back tomorrow after we leave to fix it . We took our water from the bath for the night. On the morning , we took the breakfast. It was ok. The person who was there didn't realized that calling me a clown because I was smiling. It was not a good **call ** has a staff member . Overall it was pretty noisy in the room , there was a clicking noise all night long from the walk-in entrance.( maybe safety lights module or I don't know ) Beds was not pretty firm, pellows was very firm. I had a bad night in this bed.
