The stay was ok, the bathroom fan made such a racket that I didn’t use it for fear of distressing the rooms next to me. No staff at reception on arrival at 4.15pm seems unusual, no breakfast of any type available. I had an early start so even a continental would have been nice. Reception didn’t open until 10.30 on the Sunday and so I was well and truly on the road by then.

Bega Downs is perfect for a stop when traveling to the far south coast of NSW. It’s clean, carpet is in good condition and bed was comfortable. Good launching pad with towns like Tathra and Merimbula within 25 minutes
