Friendly staff and clean room.. just disappointed with the pool/hot tub room.. the extreme smell of chlorine made it impossible to enjoy the hot in.. and the location and flights of stairs to laundry room was not helpful

The hotel is older, pool is inside but separate. Good value for the money.

Filthy hotel. Workout room full of not working or dangerous equipment.

We paid twice as much money for Saturday night then the following 4 days. Check-in person was unfriendly and appeared to be confused about hotel rates. We selected this place as it was close to our family. Don’t bother using the pool on Saturday night it is reserved for private swimming lessons!!!! Rooms are not made up daily!! Only IF you get grouchy and even then all you get is fresh towels and coffee This was a total waste of money!!! Don’t stay here!

Rooms smelt terrible. No breakfast. Did not feel safe leaving my vehicle. Parking areas dark, not well lit. Bed was worn felt springs move. Overall was one of the worst hotel stays i have had.

Lots of parking in back and pool was easy to get to from our room.

Bed in the first room was broken so we had to switch. Older hotel, starting to show its age. Hot tub worked but was way too hot. Public swimming lessons are given out of the pool, just FYI

Great short stay. The building is a bit old, but that creates the atmosphere of the "good old days" when everything was for real. 😀 Staff is accommodative. Good location of the swimming pool on the property.

only con was no elevator, and no one offered to help me carry my luggage upstairs. Besides this .. it was a comfortable safe room, and the gym was functional and clean.

We recently stayed here during our family vacation and rented two rooms. Overall, the rooms were fairly clean, although we did notice what looked like some mold or mildew forming on the ceiling above the shower in one of the bathrooms. The air conditioning was functional but definitely struggled to keep up with the summer heat—cooling the room took a while, especially during the hot BC afternoons. The location is very convenient—right off the Trans-Canada Highway—so getting around the Lower Mainland was relatively easy (though, of course, “quickly” in Vancouver often still means about an hour in traffic). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. The rooms are a bit dated, and it would’ve been nice to see more charging options for devices like what newer hotels offer—USB ports or universal plugs. Beds were moderately comfortable, pillows were okay, and all the basic amenities were there, including a fridge and microwave, which was handy. A nice little touch: they have a complimentary coffee machine on the main floor, which gave a decent caffeine fix in the morning. There’s also a vending machine and a swimming pool (though we didn’t get the chance to use it this time). Would we stay here again? Possibly—if the price is right. It’s a decent option for families looking for basic comfort and a convenient location. Not luxury, but certainly serviceable.

I did not know how I got bites (bed bites?) around my neck for the first night. More swelling on the second and third day on my face and left calf. I had to take Benedryl for four days to manage the swelling and itchiness.

The hotel staff was nice. However, the carpet in the entrance and going up the stairs was gross. Going into my room, the wall socket wasn’t attached to the wall, there were ants on the floor and animal hair on the bedding. The pool area was not taken care of. The doors were rusted and there was dirt on the floors around the pool. Definitely would not stay there again.

I wasn’t expecting much however I was shocked at how rude the front desk staff was. The place smelled like mildew. The floor in my room was filthy, there were long black hairs all over the mattress cover and sheets and I suspect they weren’t changed. The shower was recently spray painted and the painters tape was left on everywhere. The sound proofing was virtually non-existent and there was some kind of physical altercation right outside my room which wasn’t addressed by staff. The AC wasn’t working and it was very hot. Despite my review I actually rarely complain but paying $250 for this terrible of a hotel in the low season seems like a crime.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Thick black hairs everywhere, all over the toilet, toilet was dirty, black hairs all thru bedding anc black stains onnbedding. Had to use our own bedding and i will be burning it after that, also machines wouldnt work to return mt deposit. I was a refund

As soon as I walked in I saw the bathroom sink was dirty, black hair on the bed, stains on the dresser. Room was beside the pool, sounds echoed until 10pm. Staff was un-accomodating to a room change, stating there were no other rooms available even though several websites showed availability.

The building is old and needs renovation.Bath tub was not clean especially the tiles needs to be brushed.

It has enough t parking space. What I dislike. It looks a motel rather than a hotel. Door needs some oil, door hinges need paint or replacement. Sink is out side of the restroom so you have to hold door nap with dirty hand to get to the sink outside of the restroom.

We heard every exterior door shut with a bang when people came and went -- the bed frame made a lot of noise and needed to be replacced. The bed itself was comfortable but, sleep was interrupted too much with the lack of sound insulation in the walls.

The initial room I was given smelled heavily of smoke. When I mentioned it they did change me to another room, which smelled a lot better, but still kind of an older scent. The WiFi was pretty awful most of the stay as well. Aside from that it was a decent hotel for a short stay.

First impression was not good, front desk guy was not friendly. He did not greet or smile. The floor in the room was laminate no rug. Cold and sticky. Furniture and cabinets were worn and out dated. It did have microwave and fridge which was nice. Maids were great, giving me towels when I asked. Other front desk people were nice. Restaurant available but did not use. Would stay again but know what to expect.

The receptionist was terrible, she was so rude as if she don’t want business from us. With that experienced we even think to choose another hotel with that first impression but with 12 hrs. Non stop Driving and Since we already booked so we stayed. Everything was ok but the one who let us check in the hotel she don’t deserve to be a receptionist. Coz we saw her even with another customer how she is dealing. Will you tell your customers figure it out yourself.. this was terrible. How busy u are but I ll never do that to customer. I am so sorry to give u this feedback but it was wat we felt from the entry . No complaints with other they were helpful. First impressions are last impressions. Room is filthy dirty. We have stayed there for 3 days, bathroom room tiles with black molds which seems not ever clean. They just tied up the bedroom, looks clean but not really clean.first and last to book in this hotel.

Staff was good …. Room was clean … The bad thing was I left my room for about 15 minutes and came back and there was a maintenance guy inside my room not cool.! Other than that very nice. I was kind of shocked to see him in the room, especially with all my personal belongings in there

Around 8am someone using a room card unlocked my door and attemped to enter my room, they couldnt because i had the latch across. They didnt knock or anything, it was really unnerving. On a positive note the Chinese from the resteraunt was Great!

Good service, close to nice places.

Absolutely despicable attempted check-in process, the front desk worker was rude, hostile and did everything in her power to slow down and complicate the process. Super long line, zero sense of urgency and the girl eventually decided to “take a break” abandoning all of her guests patiently waiting. I never ended up getting to check in and not only that, she refused to answer the Ramada phone to speak to hotels.com to grant my refund. My experience was 100% caused by the dramatics, games and unprofessional runaround of the front desk worker.

Was the best price and you get what you pay for but here is how I found it. Located right off highway so that is convenient but if you need to grab a snack or something you need to drive. Not really anything close by to walk to. Carpet throughout is old and musty however in my room there was nice laminate which was clean and in good condition. There was mildew in the bathroom, tile grout was dirty, and room had a musty smell. Also poor soundproofing. Highway is loud and can really hear people in hall and room next door. Could hear neighbor coughing and alarm going off and when using the shower. Very basic TV channels - bare minimum. Nice coffee machine in lobby for guests to use.

A good location and easy to get to with good parking.

It is a nice property. The location is a short walk from a number of restaurants and shopping.

I liked the Chinese restaurant that was inside the restaurant. A variety on the menu western and Chinese cuisine. Good hours also.

The restaurant had great food, the chinese cusine was amazing too. Great staff. Would recommend.

Nice little spot, does need some updating in the rooms, but as a place to hang you hat for the night it works. The Chinese restaurant attached has really good food for a great price, and cheap beer!

Dinning room is open till 10 pm but doesn’t open for breakfast until 9 am. ?? Had to leave the hotel to find breakfast elsewhere.

The room is clean. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and convenient.

There was no continental breakfast you had to use the Chinese restaurant which is not part of the hotel and pay for it, gets costly after a while

No breakfast but restraunt was ok.

The staff was great, very welcoming. The hotel was dated, but fairly clean. There was mould in the windowsills from condensation however. It advertises as having the breakfast included, but that was not the case. If they correct that, I would consider staying here again.

Loved the coffee machine in the lobby. Mochaccino on demand! Loved it!
