Great hotel in corner Brook! Enjoyed our stay, the facility is superb and a landmark hotel. Very nice staff, check in was very smooth and professional. The room we got was upgraded to an executive suite, it was exceptional. The dining facility was also great: great eggs Benedict, and only $3.75 for a carafe of coffee!! I would highly recommend, and I will be staying here my next stay in corner Brook.

Glynmill Inn is a wonderful, older, hotel with 3 dining options. The staff our great and friendly. There are walking trails behind the property that are well manicured and provide a natural walk around the pond and beyond. The beds were very comfortable. Although the hotel is older it is a very warm and comfortable place to stay. We recommend this hotel. It has character.

The hotel was great for such a old hotel , it was clean the staff were great ! The only thing that made the stay disappointing was I booked it for a special occasion, so we stayed because to celebrate at the wine cellar for Dinner , but it was closed and it’s I guess no one’s fault but i had no idea it was closed certain days of the week .

Nice hotel. We arrived at 8pm and unfortunately the restaurant closed early on Sundays and we had to drive to find another place for a meal.

Beautiful setting and wonderful history. The inn is quite nice and in a great location. Lots of walking paths and very close to downtown and many amenities such as restaurants bars shops etc. staff were excellent courteous personable etc. breakfast was very good and very reasonable. The lounge had great options for a pub fare dinner. The Only negative is that the carpeting in the halls could use replacement.

Loved the location. You feel like you are out in the country but you are right downtown. Lobby area is very rundown. Carpets need cleaning and/or replacing badly. Almost made me want to leave when I walked in but glad I stayed as the rooms and hallways were much better.

This iconic building is in a very nice setting and is conveniently located to stores and so forth.The staff were professional and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. The only issue we experienced with the hotel is the lack of soundproofing as we could hear literally every sound from the room above us.

Room was a good size but you could hear people talking in adjacent rooms and a kid in the room above jumping off the furniture sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. Air conditioning just heated the room...even when shut off, mini fridge compressor was off balance and vibrated, cleaners did not leave enough towels, elevator bounced like it was going to fall. Building was nice to look at but we should have stayed somewhere else.

Only issue was the AC did not work. Room was super hot, the management did not seem to care. Also room was super tiny. Thankfully we had a window! Neat place cool property.

Overall, our stay was quite pleasant. However, on our first day, after a long day of driving, completing some work and attending a social event, my husband and i decided to go to the lounge for a drink before going to bed. We arrived at the lounge and it seemed very nice with some live music playing. My husband ordered an espresso martini. When i ordered an old fashioned, however, our server barked at me that "we don't have bourbon". When I suggested using another type of whiskey, i was told "we dont do that". I made another selection. Although the cocktails were fine, they were very small, poorly presented and the attitude of our server caused us to limit our evening to one drink each and we never went back on the subsequent evening. We chose, rather, to visit another higher-end hotel in the area, where the service and knowledge of customer service was much better

This hotel has a lot of history behind it but it's definitely old and outdated although the rooms were clean. We stayed there twice and the second time we got a more updated room. They have dining options but never dined there. It's conveniently located and walkable to many restaurants and stores and parking was free.

This historic hotel has seen better days. It is badly in need of upgrading. The poor servers at breakfast were doing so much they were unable to attend to the diners in a timely manner. The waits were horrible. They need more staff in the restaurant!

Our dinner in main dining room was not good. Mine was okay but my husband’s was terrible. Chicken over cooked and looked like it was leftover and rewarmed. He never complains at a restaurant so it was bad for him to say anything. Breakfasts were all very good and staff great. Other than that everything was good.
