Comfort Inn

The staff is excellent, but the place needs a renovation. The Comfort Inn is really the only place to stay in Fort Erie.

I reserved a King bed room but when we arrived and told them I had a dog…even though the property is pet friendly…we were given what they called a “pet room” and it was going to be two queen beds instead of a king. I agreed to it but as an afterthought I was kind of bothered that they did that. Otherwise the room was okay overall. Breakfast was okay and the eggs and sausage were hot. Coffee not the greatest but okay as well. All in all we would stay here again in a pinch however if there was another hotel within the same distance we may go elsewhere.

Overall, this hotel was okay for the price. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was decent. The main downsides were the very small rooms, which were in average condition, and the lack of an elevator, which made carrying luggage up the narrow stairs inconvenient.

Front desk staff at check-in was amazing super nice. Everybody was very nice .

The mattress was very well worn in, a bit dipped in the middle. The shower was great. If this is a handicapped room there should be a bath mat.Breakfast was much better than typical 2 star hotel. The staff was fantastic. VERY convenient to crossing the border
