Always a good stay when we go to Harrison Hot Springs at a decent rate. Positives: - Clean room and linens - Good customer service by front desk staff - Front desk staff helped in providing portable fans with no AC operating - Clean premises Negatives: - Room AC not operational - Bathroom exhaust fan not operational - Only one of two elevators operational with hotel being at Maxim capacity. - Operational elevator is very slow, lights are burned out in control panel and elevator direction lights.

This hotel was our first accommodation from the long drive so we checked in late but the receptionist in charge checked us in smoothly. The receptionist was accommodating about parking as well. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. I was looking forward for the indoor hot springs but it wasn’t available upon our stay. Good location and good pricing still!

Parking was secure. Mountain was fine. The front door was broken. Amenities all long out of service. Mould around all windows. Water stains on ceiling. Paint chipping and peeling everywhere. Front staff never available. This place should be condemned.

Place is a bit run down and not veyr modern. The pool and facilities were not open, which was a main selling feature for booking. Luckfully the price of the room was cheap.

Photos need to be updated. This hotel needs lots of work. Dirty carpets, lots of duct tape, broken AC's, fridges that freeze everything, loose tea bags, filthy underground, moldy bathrooms, spa is closed, exercise room is closed, continental breakfast is not covered and not refrigerated or on ice.

The location is perfect which gives you access to all the stores within a 5 minute walk. Plenty of free parking at this hotel. They also provide a free hotel voucher to access the local mineral pool. This time I paid only $62 (Cdn) per night and for that price it was well worth it.

The hotel room was not clean. The bathroom ceiling had visible holes and appeared to be deteriorating. The bathroom itself was dirty, and the bathtub had not been properly cleaned. Overall, the property seems to be in poor condition, with noticeable maintenance issues throughout. I am not going back there.

This hotel was the dirtiest, smelliest most disgusting neglected place i have stayed in years, we didnt even stay there we went accross the street and stayed in a different hotel. The stink was unbearable and there stuff dripping down the walls of the elevator. I wouldnt let my son touch anything and we just got out of there

Stay elsewhere! I normally don’t complain as I’m a fairly basic traveller, but this place deserves to be given a negative review. Upon check in, I was told I would not be receiving the king room I booked and given a queen instead. That wasn’t the biggest deal but it was the start of the negative experience. The real problem is the condition/cleanliness. The entire hotel is in disrepair. Probably one of the worst/grossest hotel bathrooms I’ve ever walked into. Visible mold in the shower, tile grout was orange from grime - clearly hadn’t been scrubbed in quite some time. Black hair stuck to different parts of the mirror, sink drain was stuck and water would take minutes to go down. The pressboard Vanity was absorbing water and starting to grow mold, and was disintegrating. Carpets and couch fabric was absolutely dirty. Looked to be gum stuck to carpet as well as burns. Hallway carpet was gross. Walls and doors had grime and fingerprints on them. Everything needs to be renovated in this hotel. Not just for an update but because it is unsanitary.

It was nice but it need more out lets. It needed to bescrubbed down there was mould un the bathroom. We went to make 2 trups to our car and the cleaning staff kept telling us to check out. We knew that we just had to make 2 trips. I recommend a deep clean inside and out.

Stained tub, didn’t use. Housekeeping poor, leftover liquor can on fridge. Evidence of possible bugs in one of the beds. No ventilation, no screens on window so unable to open for fresh air. Under repairs with unfinished wall exposed. Too tired to just leave but considered forfeiting and trying to drive home.

Harrison Lake Hotel is quite an old hotel in the area. The room wasn't clean, with several spots on the carpet, and the bathtub had a muddy smell and couldn’t hold water when I tried to take a bath. Although the staff was willing to change rooms for me, I chose to stay. The TV was outdated, and I struggled with the remote control, but the staff assisted me in resolving the issue. The bed was great but the room was old and things were broken. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom and ceiling fixtures were loose and dirty. The air conditioner had poor outflow and the exhaust for the ac was ducted taped with cardboard to block the exhaust hole. The hallway lights were burnt out and the rugs were loose and not vacuumed. This hotel is not worth the cost of staying there. I won’t stay again

The room was just okay for the price. The room had a window air condition unit. The window stayed open because the air condition pipes needed to be put in the window. With the window open we had more noise. Near the lake at a walking distance.

Room was large enough. Bathroom tub seals and tile grout dirty looking, black areas, many dead insects in light fixture. Facecloth had large hole in it. Coffee machine inoperable. TV was only a whisper despite volume all the way up. Many kids running and noisy in the hallways til very late. Otherwise it was good, though the bed and pillows were mediocre. Very light top blankets, cold at night. Guess the price relects what you get.

The area where the hotel is located is beautiful. Close to the beach and lots of wonderful restaurants and shops. However, the hotel needs some major renovations. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and a piece of the bathroom ceiling was peeling as well. The curtain rod in the shower was not attached properly so the curtain wouldnt stay closed properly.There was also a large piece of drywall attached to the ceiling most likely covering up an opening. The ceiling above the the smoke detacter had a hole in it. There was also a large stain on the lower wall by the window as well. Last thing I notice that the curtain on the window wasn't large enough so there was light coming in, which for me should be fully covered being a black out. The elevator could definatly do with a checkup as well. Other than all that, staff was wonderful but whoever owns the hotel def needs to so some renovations. Def should update the photos because it's false advertising. Can't say Ill stay there again.

Room 210 cost more because billed as lake side. Lake not visible. All electrics unplugged. No shampoo, police visited a nearby room at 3am due to an assault and woke everyone up, couch dirty, foot stool fabric torn. day 2 moved to 408, had view of lake but carpet heavily stained, coffee machine leaked, toilet broken and water ran all night, no bedside lamps, bugs in sink, no body soap in shower. no towel racks or hook on back of door, hodge podge of mismatched and scratched furniture throughout,

I am writing to express my frustration with the service I received due to understaffing. When I asked for assistance, the receptionist was unhelpful. Moreover, my attempts to contact the front desk were unsuccessful as the line was consistently busy. As a result, I had to make four trips to the lobby with my infant. I requested an additional electric stove top, but the receptionist simply stated that he was busy, despite having only one person waiting after me. He provided several excuses, but my primary concern was replacing the stove top in my room to boil water for my baby's milk. Although he assured me that he would assist, I never received a follow-up. This incident occurred on April 20th between 7-8 pm.

Hello, my wife and I booked The Harrison Lake hotel on May 7 through Hotels.com, but the hotel did not match the pictures. We request a full refund as we did not stay the night. The room was extremely hot with a non-functional air conditioner and was very dirty. The basin faucet had toothpaste on it, the cupboard had toilet paper stuck on the door trim, and the bathroom baseboards were held on by painter's tape. The toilet handle was broken, the carpet was ripped, and the TV was not properly set up. The front desk person, Angel, agreed it was unacceptable and tried to contact the manager and Hotels.com for a refund, but the manager was unavailable. Please respond ASAP and contact Hotels.com for our refund. Also, your front sliding door does not work and must be opened manually. If I do not hear from you, I will contact Hotels.com, PayPal, and leave a review on Google.

We arrived to check in for the 3 nights that we had booked and were informed that we had only booked in for 2 nights. I showed the man at reception our booking confirmation for 3 nights. This was advertised as a 3-star hotel; I would not even rate it at 1. It should be closed, it is dirty and dangerous in my opinion. I will put a detailed review on Expedia.

The location is close to the lake and restaurants. The room and the hotel itself need an upgrade. Even the entrance door needs a replacement. You have to wrestle to open it. Looks automatic.

Looks like it was once a nice, higher end property. It appears that zero money has been or is being spent to update, which is reflected in the price. Hot rooms in the summer. Hit or miss on air-conditioning that works. Not on the lake but a short walk. Parking available.

The location is perfect which gives you access to all the stores within a 5 minute walk. Plenty of free parking at this hotel. They also provide a free hotel voucher to access the local mineral pool. This time I paid only $62 (Cdn) per night and for that price it was well worth it.

The pictures on the website are not what the rooms look like. They say they have complimentary breakfast, but they don't. They say there is a Courtyard restaurant but it is closed. When we asked the staff about the restaurant, I was told "Oh, they are only closed today and tomorrow" Sat and Sun..........lol. The A/C was broken, so they had portable units and fans in the rooms. The hotel is very run down and not cleaned very well. Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it!!!!

Photos need to be updated. This hotel needs lots of work. Dirty carpets, lots of duct tape, broken AC's, fridges that freeze everything, loose tea bags, filthy underground, moldy bathrooms, spa is closed, exercise room is closed, continental breakfast is not covered and not refrigerated or on ice.

Older building so not super fancy. Courtyard cafe not open and no one said anything, rooms very cold. Plus side it was cheap, very close to good eats, very close to pool, good parking and the Pho restaurant there was really good

Our room had no AC, the fan didn’t work, no toilet paper, it had mold in the shower and vanity. The restaurant wasn’t open on time and we were told we could only have limited items at the contnential breakfast (ie either yogurt or cereal). Either coffee or juice. It was dirty, the hallways were very dark, our lamp was missing a bulb (electrocution hazard), and we had to go ask at the desk for multiple things. They wouldn’t move us. Not good experience or value for $. Would not recommend or stay again.

The hotel was under construction during our stay. They placed us in a room that was almost done in renovations. However, the beds and bathrooms were clean. The flooring was dirty. Small amounts of garbage were still seen on the floor. I never took my shoes off during my stay

In 20 years I’ve never stayed anywhere as dirty, run down and poorly maintained. Excellent staff, sadly the place is a dump. The breakfast was terrible, low quality, limited food at breakfast. Again, very nice staff, just seems the owners don’t seem to value a clean well maintained business

The hotel is undergoing renovations but we did not experience any noise issues. The bed was very clean and comfortable . Front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed a nice surprise with the free breakfast and entry to mineral pool.
