哈里森湖濱飯店

Had to book a last minute room and the Harrison Lake Hotel was a great price and easy to book. The front desk worker, Akhil, was wonderful and made checking in a breeze and the housekeepers were very sweet. The hotel is just steps away from the beach and the main strip in Harrison. It is under construction (as of October 2026) so there is quite a bit of work being done, but it was quiet and not too much of a bother.

The room smelled one of the lamps didn’t work the tv didn’t work the floor was dirty. The fans left in the room had residue on them. The breakfast was a horrible just bread it seemed like it was a joke. Front desk staff horrible customer service.

Front staff was nice but failed to give any info about breakfast of wifi or parking. When I remembered about them I had to go and ask. The room was fairly clean but everything looked beat up. The outlet on the lamp did not work. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly. The window was wide open out to a kind of terrace when we entered and one of the latches was broken. Breakfast did not start until 8 which was too bad because we were travelling and started early. It was quiet though. And the bed was clean and comfortable. And it was nice and close to walk to many food places and shopping.

We were put on the second floor as we exited the elevator. The carpets were absolutely in shambles patches on all the walls going down the hallway. We entered our room used the washroom. The toilet was clean. The tub was clean the shower curtain smelt badly and there were very large spiders in the bathroom. Fairly old cabinet and bathroom amenities. Queen beds both creeked and groaned with every movement while sleeping every lamp in the room had spider & webs, we opened the blinds for the windows it look like the windowsills haven’t been cleaned in a very long time window had hand prints. The portable fridge that was on the floor was frozen up and could not be used and the floor missed a Cleaning too.

They are under renovations so it’s understandable but on the finished floors it was more of a poor bandaid and the bed mattresses are years over due. Coming out of the garage a mirror is much needed especially during busy season. The side walk is totally blind and you have to go slow and keep your fingers crossed. It can be a beautiful old building. Fans is the bathrooms would be a plus and a removal of the accustic ceiling.
