The pool was well kept and alot of fun, as well as the atrium with the playground, badminton, pool tables and basket ball court. The kids had a blast. One thing that was slightly unsettling was that the side entrance was accessible to anyone, there was no lock in place and didnt require a key to come in. Just unsettling with the amount of children that come to stay. Our room was cold, there was a small heater but the room temp only reached 66, however that wasnt terrible. We also should have investigated further before booking on a weekday, the slides for the pools are only open Friday and Saturday which is a main attraction for the kiddos :) over all we loved it but just a few things to be aware of ! The early bird breakfast special was great for $6 ! :D

We stayed at this property last year and we found that it has deteriorated over the year. The staff was pleasant, the restaurant food options were good and reasonably priced. The cleanliness of the property was disappointing. Carpets on stairs were dirty, windows were dirty and parking lot was not in good shape. We booked two adjoining rooms and the air conditioner of one of the rooms was not working properly. The water slide and pool were popular but the back wall seemd to be under construction or damaged. The rules of the water slide also changed with no one over 4 feet allowed to use it. my grandson just "made the cut" but will not qualify in the future to use the slide. The palyroom area was also popular for kids and families. The basketball hoop was broken and not repaired. We looked forward to our visit this year after last year's experience but were disappointed about the changes.

The game room is big and has a variety of activities for all ages. Pool area is nice but wish the water slides are for older kids and adults. Room furniture and bathroom fixtures are old, but beds are comfy. Staff is very friendly and fast service if a problem arises. Free coffee, tea and water 24/7 is nice.

This hotel is located very close to the national park, check in was easy, the room was clean and very quiet. The amenities...well the waterslides are not operational. According to the maintenance guy, this hotel has no intention on fixing the slides bc of the cost and potential issues that .might come with it. The pool was nice and warm. Nothing more to say. Basketball court...well the basketballs had no grip and the net was in rough condition. It doesn't cost a significant amount of money to replace the balls and net. Ping pong tables were in decent condition, however they only have one set of paddles for 2 tables and the one set is extremely worn out. Again, it doesn't cost a lot of money to replace the paddles. Badminton...court and net was in good condition but the birdies were cracked... Overall our stay was pleasant, we would come back but i hope they replace those items. Ppl are coming to use the amenities, it was very disappointing.

The pool was amazing , unfortunately the water slides were out of service. In the hotels defence, they let you know about the slides ahead of time. My guess is that they are permanently closed because we stayed there 2 years ago and the slides were out of service then as well. In a positive note, besides the slide not working, there ware plenty of fun things for the kids to do. They had a blast! We stayed in a King Suite and it was beautiful and spacious. The pull out couch was terrible, but I guess one can’t expect much from a pull out couch. My biggest complaint is the TV. and the fact that there was no cable TV. We had 2 beautiful TV’s in our suite and there was absolutely nothing to watch. There was a handful of free to air channels all playing old dated shows. It made for a rather boring nigh. I ended up watching episodes of the original Dagrassi High show which aired in 1989. I still can’t believe there wasn’t cable TV.

Run down in the main areas, especially stairways. The coldest pool and pool area- basically unusable, which was a huge disappointment. Hot tub wasnt working and looks like thats how it is on the regular. Had 2 dogs and 2 kids and was placed on the third floor. Staff was okay, checked us in and our. Never bothered to ask if we needed anything or how my stay was when I checked out. Overall, I wont be going back. Mainly due to the cold and unusable pool area. Was planning 2 more trips back later this year as its close to my in laws and we are from out of town, but we may as well stay in windsor and take the kids to a playground.

Poor service / not friendly at check in. Minimal conversation, lacked a sense of welcome. When I was given my room, it had an overwhelming musty and mildew smell. It was unbearable. While I was happy that the front desk understood my concern and relocated me to a new room within an hour, I was very disappointed when the front desk staff reinforced their complete awareness of the room smell. When I shares my concerns, the reply was, “oh yeah those rooms on that side don’t get ventilated very well and it gets so hot and the AC struggles so it all just drips on the ceiling and it can get musty smelling.” Horribly disappointing to know that staff (and assuming administration) is aware of this issue but yet a) don’t do anything about it and b) continue to put guests into these rooms. While my new room had no smell and good AC, ALL staircases and hallways ALWAYS had a smell. Sometimes musty, sometimes a cleaner smell but you could tell it covering up cat or dog pee or something similar. Very uncomfortable overall. Carpets are disgusting as well. We appreciated the games and amenities of the hotel, but the overall cleanliness is turning me away from ever booking there again, which is sad. Something needs to be done.

We liked the hotel; My 4 years old had so much fun on the pool and waterslide. We just had a little problem with our room; We got a room with two queen beds, one for my husband and I and one for our son; when we moved the bed close to the wall so my son wouldn't fall out during the night, we noticed dirt under the bed, the towels weren't folded either when we arrived, and some pieces of paper right at the entrance to the room. Apart from that incident, everything is great.

The atrium room is a benefit so that the kids can play and you can sit outside (or inside) your room with the patio door open and it’s safe. However…our room was musty and mouldy. Old toddler snacks/food was left on the floor and the carpet was very dirty. The kids had a blast in the waterslide/pool, and play area. We lost a lot of money on the arcade’s that just didn’t work. This place is kid friendly, but needs a good refresh. The staff were kind, but I was over charged at checkout. When I mentioned it They said they “fixed it,” but then they didn’t change it correctly on my credit, and I was overcharged by over $30.00 in a separate transaction. Frustrated.

The property was nice upon entering but once in the room, you could quickly see that it was not clean. The bathroom had mold and broken pieces everywhere. The room faced the atrium which was terrible for noise. They say it closes ar 10pm but the boise went on well until almost midnight every night. They do little to enforce noise levels. Definitely has bed bugs. Woke up with bites everywhere. The beds are comfortable but the sheets are very itchy. Staff is very friendly and nice.

Room was dirty, sheets still dirty and smelled of mildew. Whole building dirty. Making for an uncomfortable stay, as I was worried the whole time about cleanliness. Only thing going for them is the pool. Which is in rough shape as well.

It was convenient and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good and served quickly. Dinner was terrible. I had fish and chips and the fish was the worst I think I have ever had. Dried up and overcooked. And the coleslaw was all onions - bitter. The room was noisy as it looked onto the "fun zone" and people were allowed to continue shouting and screaming after 10.30 pm

I didn't like the very noisy HVAC unit in the room. I didn't like the inadequate WiFi, and I didn't like the analog only tv with the annoying remote. For the price of the room these things should be much better and breakfast should be included.

The area the hotel is in has zero cell service. They say they have wifi but it doesn’t stay connected. When I asked the desk about it I was told it was probably not working because there was “a lot of people” there. I feel that the wifi should be able to accommodate a fully booked hotel. Other than that this hotel is very much average in rating. I could not find what the “plus” was here

Good location if you intend to visit Point Pelee. 5 minutes from town in the other direction. Room itself was … old. Almost no outlets and no usb outlets at all, very dark with all the lights (mostly little lamps) on, loud ac, a bit humid even with ac, old worn beds. Pillows were comfortable. Coffee available at the front was good when it wasn’t empty .. always coffee in the morning but half the time it was empty in the afternoon. The water slides were a huge disappointment as it doesn’t say on this website anyway that it’s for kids 30-48”… the water slides are what inspired my son chose this hotel for our father son trip and it turned out he’s way too big for them. We had room 105 and it was fairly quiet. Overall despite its age the property was adequate. The front desk staff was consistently friendly and helpful.

I was disappointed with the old room decor and everything overall. For the price with no breakfast included it was a bummer. There was no network in and around the hotel so only thing you are relied upon is the wifi which constantly fluctuate. The TV was old with no option for connecting or casting your phone or streaming service nor they had any good channel. I was on a business trip and stayed just 1 night so my fav past time after work is to watch some TV shows. The hotel needs a big renovation and needs to be upto date with other hotels with cheaper price have.

We had a number of issues during the stay .. TV broken, key card not working, at checkout they had us listed in the wrong room. Buildings and rooms are dated need renovation. The restaurant was very nice though with excellent service and food.

I really enjoyed my stay at Best Western in Leamington. I thought the location was perfect for our local activities, and the pool/indoor play area was perfect for kids. I would definitely come back! However there were some funky smells in some areas of the hotel (not in the room), and I wasnt prepared for the additional charge for cleaning the room after my dog was there (in addition to the $30/night fee for a dog, which i was prepared for). The staff explained that this is for allergies, not because a dog makes a mess. I just wish that this information was on the expedia website.

The night manager/worker was not very helpful. Whenever you asked him a question, it was like you were bothering him…he was rude and acted like he didn’t want to be there. I believe he was entering hotel data when we got there on late…it was like he was consumed with this as opposed to helping out guests.

The hotel is easy to find and the closest to the national park so it was great to visit daily and close drive to downtown and waterfront. Dining available. Lots of parking available. Games room is great. Nice pool but gets very loud with kids using the slide on weekends or when doing construction. Pet friendly. Only complaint was "patio" consisted of 2 patio stones and a tree on each side to the curb parking in front of room.Wouldn't consider it a patio as couldn't sit there with chairs because the car is right in front. Non patio room guests parked in front of ours so was annoyed we had to squeeze around their car. Will pick a balcony another time with more room. Will only clean room only as requested at check in.

Yes, location to waterfront marina and ferry very useful. Our room was on the ground floor for easy access taking dog out...from back entrance of hotel or sliding door within room. The room itself was very comfortable for the 3 of us...we really enjoyed our stay in Leamington and trip to Pelee Island.

If you are visiting Point Pelee National Park, this hotel is in a perfect location, just a couple minutes drive from the park entrance and yet still only a few minutes from downtown Leamington. For families, it has some great amenities, indoor pool, pool tables, badminton court, and an arcade. The restaurant has a very good breakfast menu, with fantastic prices.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Handy dining restaurant but badly over cooked fish and chips. Good meat stuffed dumplings. Good western sandwich for breakfast in the morning. Good staff in all areas. Will stay here again next time I am in the area. Will recommend to others. Stayed Monday night. Tried to cancel Tuesday as my work was completed early. Rooms were clean, almost all arcade games were out of order, play equipment was dirty, water slides not working (knew this before hand), roof was leaking due to rain, restaurant inside was okay but service took almost 2 hours after ordering
