Checkin and out was extremely easy. The room was clean but there was a weird stickiness on the floor. Our room ended up being directly above the restaurant which had very loud music playing pretty late.

Seacliffe Inn in Leamington is a gem. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and situated with a view to the beach area. The person at the Front desk was friendly and helpful. I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it, but there are a couple of things I would like to bring up for further review. The room would have been much more enjoyable with a couch, rather than bar stools. The on-site dining experience is far too expensive for the beach atmosphere. I would have liked to try it, but the dinner bill for 2 would was similarly priced with two expensive restaurants in Toronto (Jacob's & Co, Harbour 360). When we went to view the patio, there was only one family sitting there at peak dinner time. I am guessing I am not alone in my thoughts. Thankfully there was Ray's Rib restaurant within walking distance. It had decent food and reasonable prices. I would return to this Inn. Please don't let my added commentary dissuade anyone else from staying there.

Clean room, quiet for the most part though lots of constant mechanical electrical humming coming through the walls that we tuned out as the visit progressed and TV had intermittent high pitched tone. Mattress was very firm and felt either really old or entry level comfort quality for both myself and my wife, as we felt the results in our back and hips the next morning. Close to beach and Point Pelee and minutes from main drag to find places to eat. Restaurant on site looked nice but very expensive compared to town options so we ate out instead. Free parking.

Lovely location in Leamington. Perfect proximity to the Peele Island Ferry. The restaurant is not owned by the hotel, so you need to check hours of operation. Front desk has limited hours for personnel. Otherwise, a great stay!

The only downside is that there is no elevator. It's only 3 floors, but if you have mobility issues book a room on the 1st floor.

For a first time visit I was impressed. We were attending a concert that was super close to the hotel which made the whole experience super enjoyable. Note there is no elevator or coffee maker in the rooms but stations are set up in the hallway.

Our lakeview room was very clean, recently renovated snd quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was a guest service common area on the second floor providing coffee, tea, ice, dishes, glassware 24/7 The check-in was quick and the receptionist was friendly and courteous. The location right on the Lake Erie and the Leamington Promenade is just perfect and easy for exploring Point Pelee.

Excellent location to the beach, ferry, restaurants, stores and beautiful park. The Inn is a bit dated but they have made every effort to provide extras for their guests ie coffee machines, ice and microwave in common areas. The Inn was clean. The beds could use some better pillows. I would definitely come back.

The room was clean but the carpet was dirty and gross with stains. The mattress needs to be replaced, so uncomfortable. Where our room was there wasn’t any internet reception. We travelled with family and they left a night early because of the dirty carpet and the mattress was so uncomfortable. Our last night the fire alarm went off twice, the first time it took the fire department 15 minutes to arrive, to reset the system. Two hours later the alarm sounded again which stopped after a few minutes. We won’t return to this hotel.

Very old and tired facility. Room was clean but old carpet and old furniture didn’t make it feel clean. The old musty smell also very uninviting. A fresh coat of paint would help but this place needs a lot more. Accessibility is good although the stairs would be a challenge for many. Location is excellent.

The property was in a lovely lakeside location. The bed was like a trampoline and dented in the middle so my spouse ended up in the middle and I was clinging to the side. No clock, limited TV with controlled volume so low, only one small lamp to read by, sheets were thin and well used, one bar of soap the size of a toonie. The walls were so thin you could hear when showers were running and doors closing. Over priced. They give one price and after you book, there is an additional $50. fee plus tax which makes it at least a $100 more,st The onsite dining was also very expensive.

The floors were quite dirty and sticky, probably hadn’t been washed since last occupancy, but the rest of the room was clean and tidy, and probably just an oversight. Also, the bar just downstairs played very loud music until after 11 PM, although otherwise it was a nice, quiet, peaceful stay. Check-in and parking were very easy, even though we arrived late, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bottom line is we would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The location is very nice across the road from the beach. If you are looking for a new updated property this would not be the place for you. TVs are old and only stairs in use.

The property is historic but feel it is time for a renovation. Carpets in bedrooms need to be replaced, furniture is thoroughly used, and unfortunately the beds (our party had 2 rooms on separate floors) are well past their best before time. Our queen bed mattress was like a soup bowl, and did not give a good nights rest. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, but the rooms and access areas require a major renovation. Just my opinion for the price point, expected something better.

We liked that it was close to the beach, nice watering ponds around the hotel, bedroom was comfortable. We didn't like the noise of the AC units outside our window, and we faced the parking lot and other motel for that price. also the hotel was not busy at all, so we could have been moved to the rooms facing the beach and lake area as a complimentary show of thanks. Every time the AC unit would start and end in our room , there was a clunk in the ductwork waking me up througn the night.

The overall experience was delightful. Check in was easy and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our dinner on the patio was superb with a beautiful view of the lake. Our server Jacqueline was outstanding and was able to answer many questions about the area- including Pelee Island and the ferry. We highly recommend the Seacliffe Inn and will be back many times over. Thank you!

Great location as it is near the beach and ferry dock, however the hotel itself needs to be renovated. There was no where to place our suitcases, the bathroom is very old without any conveniences and the bed was very uncomfortable. The front desk shuts down in the afternoon. We didn't see one staff person the rest of the day or night.

We arrived late had trouble finding a way into the property. We had no way to contact anyone on our confirmation. We finally followed a guest into the check in area. There we found a basket with our key. Otherwise we enjoyed Chuck’s for dinner. However if had known the lively bar downstairs with live music.

Lovely old hotel, lots of history. Staff was very responsive. TV wasn’t working in our room. No way to make it work. They moved us to an absolutely wonderful room. Very happy with our experience.

Customer Service was excellent. I had to make last minute changes to my reservation and they were accommodating. Also, they made my after hours check in super easy. Beds were super comfortable, and my room was clean and quiet. I was on the 3rd floor.

First time staying here, the location is perfect, right at the ferry terminal and the public beach which is a very short walk away. Did not take the ferry to Pelee Island, but seems like a perfect place to stay if you are. Check in was super quick and easy. Ample parking onsite. Only drawback is there is no food close by other than the burger shack by the ferry. But you could drive just a minute or two to the nearest restaurants.

Tidy, Bright and Cute Spot! We spent one night here on our 'weekend trip' and found a little gem of a place. Our room hard surface floors making it feel clean and fresh, our view was picture perfect Lake Erie, and the dining room served us a delicous meal! Checkin and out was extremely easy. The room was clean but there was a weird stickiness on the floor. Our room ended up being directly above the restaurant which had very loud music playing pretty late.

The property is well located close to the ferry terminal and one could take a day trip on it. The room was clean, bed very comfortable. The dinning room was not open, and had to go find a place for dinner and breakfast. Would recomend the property to others.

Seacliffe Inn in Leamington is a gem. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and situated with a view to the beach area. The person at the Front desk was friendly and helpful. I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it, but there are a couple of things I would like to bring up for further review. The room would have been much more enjoyable with a couch, rather than bar stools. The on-site dining experience is far too expensive for the beach atmosphere. I would have liked to try it, but the dinner bill for 2 would was similarly priced with two expensive restaurants in Toronto (Jacob's & Co, Harbour 360). When we went to view the patio, there was only one family sitting there at peak dinner time. I am guessing I am not alone in my thoughts. Thankfully there was Ray's Rib restaurant within walking distance. It had decent food and reasonable prices. I would return to this Inn. Please don't let my added commentary dissuade anyone else from staying there.

The overall experience was delightful. Check in was easy and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our dinner on the patio was superb with a beautiful view of the lake. Our server Jacqueline was outstanding and was able to answer many questions about the area- including Pelee Island and the ferry. We highly recommend the Seacliffe Inn and will be back many times over. Thank you!

Clean room, quiet for the most part though lots of constant mechanical electrical humming coming through the walls that we tuned out as the visit progressed and TV had intermittent high pitched tone. Mattress was very firm and felt either really old or entry level comfort quality for both myself and my wife, as we felt the results in our back and hips the next morning. Close to beach and Point Pelee and minutes from main drag to find places to eat. Restaurant on site looked nice but very expensive compared to town options so we ate out instead. Free parking.

Lovely location in Leamington. Perfect proximity to the Peele Island Ferry. The restaurant is not owned by the hotel, so you need to check hours of operation. Front desk has limited hours for personnel. Otherwise, a great stay!

After spending the previous night at the Elmhirst Inn, we were looking forward to spending the next nights in another heritage Inn.. We were sadly disappointed. Location is the best part of this Inn. Scrape marks all over the walls ,unmatched curtains, hard water, only one chair, lack of toiletries and a lovely view of the street and parking lot were some of the items of concern. In one word, the place is tired.

A really nice place right near the beach. The negative was hearing every noise in the hallway through a door that seemed like paper thin, starting at about 6:30 a.m. Every click of a door open or close ,every voice sounded like it echoed into our room.

The location to the beach can’t be beat. Our room was a little tired looking and in need of better light blocking draperies and new linens. The tap for the shower and bath wouldn’t fully turn off and dripped constantly. Not sure why the guests on the ground floor do not have ice, water or coffee available, like on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I suggest staying on one of those floors.
