The room was good. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice to have as an option. Only complaint is I did choose this hotel and pay a little more than elsewhere because it had a pool and hot tub. The pool was quite chilly / maybe just because the air temperature in the pool room was also quite cool? And the hot tub must have been barely 100 degrees so not much better.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Good continental breakfast. Hot tub and pool were very nice. Room we were in had road traffic noise though. Almost like the window was open. Probably an easy fix with new windows.

The staff was nice. The pool and hot tub were gross. Not clean. We were really disappointed as we were so looking forward to having a hot tub and swim after games and there was gross things floating in them and they just look disgusting. The kitchenette in the room would only bring a pot of water to warm so it took an hour to cook spaghetti noodles at lukewarm and they ended up soggy. I was there for four days and had 10 hockey games so it was really hard to feed my kids without going out.

It was okay. Bathroom was dirty and needs a remodel. Shampoo..etc was nice. Pillows were very flat. Staff were nice. Hot tub was nice.

When we arrived to our room we were shocked!!! The stench of human bodies was disgusting! The heat was blasting and it felt like a sauna, which amplified the human body stench… took a look under the beds and found beer cans, plastic cups, squished gummy bears and onion skins… The alarm clock and lamp plug in was not working so I pulled the table out only to find more used Kleenex and dirty napkins…. Needless to say we left after 15 mins of being there and went to a different hotel….

The staff was the only good thing about our stay here. The entire hotel appeared to be unclean. The floors in the hallway and the room looked as if they had not been cleaned in a very long time. Fire doors propped open closet doors in hallway just hanging out. Beds appeared very old. Rooms looked like they were tidied not cleaned. Remote was sticky with god knows what stuck all over it. Pool was cloudy and did not appear clean. This was a very dreadful stay and disappointing for for a BW hotel. The front staff were very friendly but that was it. Never again

Large clumps of dog hair came out from under the bed. We were aware it’s a pet friendly room, should still be cleaned properly, isn’t that want the extra fee is for. My wife went to sit on the bed and the super soft edge to the mattress sunk in and did not sillier at all. She hit hard on the floor hurting her hip. All the mattress edges

The floors in the room are not carpeted and we were on the first floor. Lots of noise came from people walking above. The walls are pretty thin as well. We could hear conversations coming from the rooms around us. I didn’t get much sleep.

We checked in at 5:30pm for a one night stay. The property is seemingly updated but is more giving lipstick on a pig vibes. The door to our hotel room was as thin as paper, felt like a dorm room with zero privacy, not a hotel room. At 6pm I tried to shower and had virtually no hot water. The shower head was awful and we had to ask for more towels just to be able to have more than one person shower in the room. The bed was cheap feeling with a “soft topper” on it to make it “feel” higher quality…didn’t work. They ripped out all the carpet so the room echos and makes you feel like everyone can hear what’s happening in your room from the hallway. Would not recommend for the price we paid for a Monday night, I’ve paid less for more at a Sandman Suites. Definitely do not recommend staying here.

Fist impression was excellent rooms, clan and comfortable beds. Nice little kitchenette in the room. My rating dropped for two reasons. The fist is the insulation between floors is nonexistent. I've never heard my upstairs neighbours so much in a hotel before. Also, a fire alarm in the hallway was low batteries beeping around 4AM and no one took care of it.

Location okay but difficult to exit onto highway. Bathroom was miniscule, hard to close the door without straddling the toilet. Very cramped conditions. Poor condition, gauges in walls, metal bed frames clanged. A/C whistled. Will not be back even though it is cheaper. Just not up to what I would consider Best Western standards.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was great. But there was a lacrosse team staying there the night we were there and they were so loud. The walls are so thin, and there is no sound proofing so you can hear everything. I would prefer not to stay in a hotel that offers group discounts again.

The lady at the front desk was rude and not helpful at all, said I couldnt continue booking the room without a credit card, which wasn't mentioned anywhere during booking, than when I asked if I was just losing my $150 I paid for the room she said yes instead of directing me on who to speak to. 0/5 would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone, this has been the worst experience I have ever had booking a room.

We spent two weeks and extended to 4 weeks due to an insurance thing. The hotel really felt like home. Breakfast was great staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend

Staff on check in was very impersonal, to the point of being rude. The elevator needed repair, as it sounded aweful when closing and opening, and jerked when it moved between floors. The room was okay, but noisy. The jaccuzzi was noce and hot, but the jets were not working. Breakfast was okay, eggs were rubbery, bacon was nice. The hotel really needs alot of tlc amd an upgrade.

Three easy things to fix here. Sign at desk said “back in five minutes.” Five minutes from when? I waited 8 til I found cleaning staff to find someone for front desk. Gap under the room door of an inch meant I got to hear all conversations, comings and goings. A towel stuffed under there helped. And the blow dryer didn’t work. No one answered at the desk, so I left w wet hair. I was there for a quick overnight stop, would not want to stay longer.

The staff was friendly. They brought more towels to the room on the second day without even requesting them! Breakfast was excellent. I think outside could be better cared for such as the flower pots and surrounding fences. It was a little dated, but pretty clean and the room was nicely finished with comfy beds. I appreciated the convenient business centre. I did hear some noise through the walls at times such as dogs barking or children crying however it was not excessive by any means and was not late in the evening. The elevator is the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel so always took the stairs which was just fine and closer to my room anyway. .The pool area looked nice but did not get a chance to try it. Would definitely stay again

Really needs to be renovated, staff is never at their desk, quite noisy all the time, heating seriously needs an upgrade, don't need air conditioning since the breeze that comes from the CLOSED window is enough to keep you shivering all night

I selected this hotel because it was the only property within walking distance of the hospital where my sister was in care. From the outside it did not look very attractive but the property was well maintained on the inside, clean and my room was comfortable. I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area.

A great deal for the money! The room was clean and breakfast was included. Would not recommend staying here unless you're visiting Vancouver with a car as it was quite a ways out (45 minutes from downtown Vancouver by car, probably much longer by transit). Nothing fancy or above and beyond, but nothing bad either!

This is a great place for an overnight stay, the price was good and the beds were very comfortable. The check in was quick, everything was great. The only thing is the neighborhood is a little down, and some people chatting outside our room after we went to sleep, there was no sound proofing it came in quite loud.

Well if I were the Best Western corporation I wouldn’t want my name attached to this property. Staff were nice enough but it seems like they are running this location bare bones and it’s struggling. Maintenance and cleanliness and general is far behind. $10 crib fee too. I’ve never been at a place charging for a crib. If they are charging for cribs (which is ridiculous to me since they have them available) they should be able to afford the staff needed to keep the pool clean and maintained. Our room had three towels when our reservation was for four and they were different sizes. They were seriously struggling to keep up with the breakfast with everything empty or broken midway through the breakfast hours. Staff were nice enough but probably super over worked. I wouldn’t have believed this was a best western if I didn’t see the signs , it reminded me of the old school motels back in the day that were half the price of the chains - but you got what you paid for. Here they are still charging prices of the reputable chain hotels but providing services of the old school motels.

The breakfast was disappointing. Hot options weren’t ready so we waited a long time while they were microwaved. They finally came out and the potatoes were still hard and cold. We finally gave up and had something else. Staff was friendly, but nothing too special about this one.
