Property has been renovated and everything is fresh and fairly new. The only down side was the pool that was not very well kept (the filtration system was not working during our stay) and the hot tub which was out of service. Still a great place for the area!

We booked this hotel because we have had good stays at other Hampton inns. We needed a fitness center as my wife has heart issues. When we got there, it was under construction and gym was not available. Breakfast room was temporary so we had to eat in our rooms. We were not advised of construction ahead of time. Very disappointed, not a nice stay

The only issue was the renovations underway.Could not use the fitness center.Some issues with the hot tub.But will be going back tgere for another stay

Great location for the activity we weredoing in the area. The hotel is in full renovation, that is great, no carpet in the room. The jacuzzi still not working, was not fixed from last year and it looks like they don't care. Pool was ice cold. Breakfast is ok, nothing special.

A great stay overall and would recommend to everyone. Five stars to all the staff. They were courteous, helpful and hard working intent on making the stay for guests positive. During our stay, renovations were underway and the gym was not available. However, the construction noise seemed non-existent. The beds and pillows may have been a little soft for our liking but overall this was a wonderful stay in newly renovated rooms capped off by an excellent breakfast each morning.

The hotel is under construction and has no lobby. We followed the check in signs to a side entrance. When we got there, there was nobody to check us in. We waited. I called several times thinking someone might have a second cordless phone and nobody answered. After 20 mins of standing there, someone came. He checked us into a room. When we got into the room and got ready for bed and turned back the blankets, the sheets were dirty. We had to go back and change rooms. After 45 mins, we finally got into a room and were able to go to sleep. The beds are springy and we didn’t have a great sleep. We put drinks in the fridge and turned the power bar on for the fridge as per the instructions and the fridge didn’t work. Not a great experience!

Property was great, very clean and upgraded. Breakfast was great and started at 6:30am on weekends which helped for our early mornings. Staff friendly and accommodative. Highly recommend.

The room looked mostly clean, however there was empty bottles of shampoo in the shower so I felt the shower at least was missed. Otherwise the room was comfortable. The cable was extremely fuzzy and only 2 or 3 channels came in mostly clear. The pool was nice although not heated and the hot tub was very hot however the jets did not work. The breakfast was great, lots to choose from and some hot foods as well. We went during winter and unfortunately it did not seem they salted their parking lot for the 2 days we were there. That was concerning for me as I am pregnant and was scared of slipping. Overall our stay was pleasant but not quite up to the standard I would expect from this chain of hotels or for the price I paid.

The elevator didn't work at one point on Dec 26. The TV picture was pixelated and there was only one Canadian channel showing.

First time staying here, stayed 3 days. Everything was very clean and nicely kept. Rooms and washrooms were newly renovated. Washroom very clean. Beds were clean and comfy, appreciated the different types of pillow densities, so I could choose one that agreed with me. The breakfast was excellent, appreciated all the hot items (eggs, sausages, hash browns), plus the gluten free oatmeal options, orange juice, teas/coffee, fruits, yogurts, plus they even had a waffle maker which was very popular. The breakfast seating area was very nice as well, with a variety of seating options. Liked the fact that we could control the AC in the room from the wall thermostat (was too cold when we arrived, but I quickly figured out how to work the thermostat). The AC unit was also not too loud or humid. Only taking a star off because I noticed that the water filter in the water filling station downstairs was showing red, which meant it needed to be replaced/serviced - the local tap water was very chlorinated and I didn't enjoy that, so it would have been helpful to have that working. Also, there was a big leak in the ceiling in the ground floor hallway just before you reach reception, and it was quite bad, so hoping they are able to fix that, for structural reasons. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was a big highlight.

The overall our stay here was average. The staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was good, and there was good amenities and in a convenient location. The beds were comfortable but the black out blinds let in a lot of light, and there were broken handles and hooks in the bathroom. The pool was awful!!! The chemicals in the pool were so high they bleached my bathing suit and my daughter's. It also burned my daughter's eyes and I had to go get her eye drops. When I reported it to the front desk they said they were sorry and would look into it and call me on Monday when the manager was in. No one called me!! I had to throw out the bathing suits and buy new ones they were so bad. I'm not impressed. The pool was a selling point for us so the kids could swim. I won't be staying here again. Its not worth the money.

We did not get the king size bed we requested. We discovered that it went to Hilton Diamond members who booked after us. That’s fine but the front desk was not honest about it saying that there was no reason or explanation. Also, this property is next to the busiest highway in Canada, yet Hilton didn’t bother to soundproof adequately. We listened to the roar of 18-wheelers and speeding cars all night long. We had pets and were given a reading of the riot act regarding our responsibilities and potential liabilities upon check in. I can only imagine what other irresponsible dog owners did before us, but we are not them.

We were very understanding that the property was under construction. Have stayed many times prior to the renovation. And loved the old rooms. The new rooms seemed sloppily built. Little things ... the shower door opened on the wrong side. So can't turn on without actually getting into shower. Tiles that lacked grout. And we're uneven. Scratches on the wallpaper in places in the hall etc. and there was remnants of construction debris in many places on the 2nd floor Again. I understand their floor was probably only opened days before. Bit take a bit more pride in the cleanliness and functional design of the building. Staff were great through. And food was good. Pool are nice.

My family stayed in the Kingston area for three nights, each night at a different hotel. Without a doubt, Hampton Inn by Hilton Napanee was the best of them all—I truly wish we had stayed there for all three nights. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We all slept very well and felt completely rested. The spacious and well-organized dining area was another highlight. Even though we checked in around 9 PM, the dining area was still fully open, offering hot water, coffee, and other refreshments—very convenient and appreciated. The breakfast offered a lot of options. Very nice. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Now that I’ve experienced the difference, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again the next time I’m in the area.

Very nice hotel, very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool is nice and warm. Rooms are big (at least the room we stayed in). They have strawberry flavoured waffles. :D

My only real issue was the blinds didn’t really stop the parking lot light from coming in the room at night. Otherwise, polite and friendly service, clean room

Very clean and comfortable room and bed. The bathroom could use a bath mat for outside the shower and a hook to hang a bath towel. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel was amazing but miscommunication from Expedia to the Hotel caused us a delay. The Hotel great about it and had us go to the room because Expedia was taking way to long. This issue should NEVER HAPPEN WHEN YOU PAY I. ADVANCE.

Located in a convenient spot close to most amenities. Staff at front desk weren't very friendly. Pool area never had cleaned towels. We had to tell front desk staff 3 times during our stay that there were no towels. Front desk staff were annoyed when we asked. We were told there would be a treat for our dog when we arrived and they had none available the day we arrived. We requested an additional cot for our stay. The cot arrived full of dust and with a dirty pillow case. Breakfast was great, the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location convenient to highway, restaurants, shopping and only about 5 minutes from downtown. Renovations going on so only gave 4 stars for facilities, but did not affect our stay. Pool and hot tub look nice. Breakfast was great as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area

Room was clean. Location was perfect for an overnight stopover while traveling. Easy parking. Standard hotel breakfast - nothing to write home about but the oatmeal and toast did the job.

Nice quiet location

Despite the fact that the property is located conveniently right off Highway 401, it's quiet. Though obviously went into soundproofing it properly. You could likely fly a jet right over it and hear nothing.

Good first impression of hotel and staff. The only disappointment was breakfast. The chunky scrambled eggs, grey sausage and soggy potatoes were not very appealing.
