Days Inn by Wyndham Renfrew Conference Centre

We selected this hotel because it has a swimming pool. This was very important to us as we were travelling with 2 children. At check in, we were informed that the pool was closed which was very disappointing as there isn’t much to do for children in this small town. The night table drawer wouldn’t close, we informed the front desk, but nothing was done about it. We had to use a piece of cardboard to wedge the door closed. The

Clean, comfortable, had everything expected, good price, uneventful stay. Only one elevator.

The Good Andrew at front desk provided excellent customer service all weekend. Appears there's an attempt to modernize the rooms with new furniture - desk, cabinets, beds, etc. although walking around the room was a bit tight. The attached restaurant, Final Score was a pleasant surprise - it was spacious, decent food / cutlery and the serving staff was quite pleasant. Hotel is also close to Walmart, Candian Tire, LCBO and Tim Horton's. The Bad Some mold on quite a few shower tiles, dilapidated wallpaper that tried to be fixed, one of our white towels had a mark on it and the exercise room didn't have free weights. In general the hotel needs a refresh but it's the only hotel in Renfrew so you're options are limited.

Great service room was clean easy to get to. it may be out of the control of the hotel but the breakfast restaurant was closed the whole time but they at least provided a small bag of juice muffin clementine and granola bar. Also I would say the gym may need some upgrades as I doubt anyone is using that equipment, it is quite old. Other than that though 5 star for me for what I needed it for, which was a spot to stay close to calabogie where I had a race.

Room is very clean but the air conditioner is a bit noisy even when not turned on. parking is very convenient. The staff are nice and helpful with fast response. Had a great time at the party room. The bar adjacent to the hotel is great, providing nice food and drink and pooling and video games, etc.

Only complaint - the elevator makes a horrible grinding noise when it reaches the fifth floor.

Liked the fenced in pool area outdoors and pet friendly

Check in person was not friendly at as we never been in this part of town before we had a few queations and he got annoyed with us. Room had a wierd smell and looked extremly warn. Table between beds had a draw that wouldnt stay closed. Shower was the biggest joke. Unusable to say it nicely. Pool had garbage and chairs in it and water didnt look inviting at all. So disappointed.

Our hotel room was absolutely disgusting. Not only was it not properly cleaned for our stay but it was obvious it hasn’t been properly cleaned for quite a long time. I’ve never seen anything like this before. There was someone else’s black hair all over the place too

Bathtub needs a deep clean. Black moldy spots on parts of the tile walls. Kids dropped a toy under the bed and when I got down to retrieve it I said sorry that toy is lost! It was pretty filthy under there, looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in years. Wish there was another option to stay when visiting Renfrew, but this seems to be the only hotel I can find. I've stayed here 4 or 5 times. Not sure why the restaurant isn't back up and running yet. The bagged breakfast is kinda crappy when travelling with kids.

Property is dated, carpets had a 1inch line of dirt around baseboards, walls were “furry” with dust,,grout lines in bathroom were mouldy, mirrors broken, photo frames missing glass and damaged, towel bar falling off the wall and wallpaper torn and not replaced.. time for a refresh! Pros-beds were clean and comfortable, staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and centrally located to the amenities of town.

The room smelled, the window was drafty and didn’t lock, room was cold despite our efforts to turn up the heat, bathroom tile looked moldy, carpets were dirty/stained, the wallpaper was ripped/torn, no outlets to plug in phone chargers, etc and not all lights worked. In general it was an uncomfortable experience and we wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel is in need of some updates. The elevator was slow and noisy, and the hallways had chipped walls and visible wear. In the room, the carpet needed a more thorough vacuuming, and there were food crumbs—possibly burnt cheese—on top of the microwave. Surfaces throughout the room could have used a better wipe-down. The conditioner in the shower was empty which suggests housekeeping may have missed a few details. On a positive note, the bedding and pillowcases were clean.

Not the cleanest, especially the washroom. The room had bit of a musty smell and there was something splattered on the wall and door.

Was very disapointed in the hotel. Was not very clean. There was feces on the wall over the mirror in bathroom as well as on the ceiling. Room had a stale odor My husband was bitten numerous times by something in the room while he slept.

The cleanliness of the room was terrible. Still hair on the bathroom floor. Dead bugs in the room. People late at night next door were loud and woke us up.

The hotel is just dirty. It needs to be clea ed better or have new carpets and new bathrpoms. Moldy

The mattress needs to be changed, giant sized dip in the middle of the mattress. The pillows were small and very soft. Woke up with a very sore back.

I booked into my first room, which really needs a good deep clean and the popcorn ceiling is moldy. The television was also as old as the hills and only received ten channels. After being woken up three times by the grinding of the elevator the young lady who worked in the evening, found me a room on the fifth floor and helped me move up. It was definitely an upgrade with even a newer television and much cleaner and quieter.I slept well after that. She was very accommodating, and I appreciate it. Now the restaurant which is attached has incredible meals at great prices. Best breakfast i've had in a long time.And the staff was very nice.

Never stay in 508. You hear the elevator dinging all night long

This property is in need of a big update!

So old and outdated. Carpets had buildup of gunk. Holes in the walls. Coke machines from the 70s. Fridge FROZE everything. Heater barely worked or was overly hot....

Comfortable beds, good shower and towels but old, tired, needs update. Mold on shower

Hvac system noisy and old. Room was dated. Not worth nearly the money we paid.

We had a room right by the elevator, that’s all we heard the whole time we were in the room. Didn’t love that at all.

Everything was great except for the bed. The mattress was too firm. We didn't have a good night sleep.

Hotel is older but the room was clean and comfortable! Not easily walkable to the downtown (about 3.5 km walk) but quiet area and close to Walmart etc.

Staff was very nice. 3 undesirable items found in room. Manager was to call us about it. We got credited for one night but no call. Disappointed an apology was not provided.

Clean room. Courteous staff.

Customer service is second to none. The staff were so accomodating to my group (6 people, 5 rooms). Client experience is what can distinguish a great hotel from a good hotel.

The property is in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar on sight that is under seperate contract was great. The hotel was not clean. There was dust and webbs in the hallways, on light fixtires. In the room under the bed was disgusting. The walls had dust and webbs. It is in need of updating as well.

Great stay but the manager made a rule that if you check it early he charge 20$. This was the first motel that I have come to that make you pay for checking in 1 hour prior to check in. So I decided to not pay that and waited in my car for just over 1 hour with my two kids.

Ver clean property with easy access and lots of parking

This hotel had everything you could want or need and I’m happy with my whole experience there. It was conveniently located, it had a microwave and refrigerater (which was crucial for me as I’m on a special diet and need to carry my food). There were dining on site and even though it was busy with many customers, it was quiet everywhere insode the property and our room. Friendly staff. Clean place.

The hotel is isolated. Access is tricky using back road. The interior is really dated, the rooms are also dated.

Great food in the restaurant

While the room was clean the comfort of the beds was terrible and the room very dated. It felt like you were sleeping on a plank of wood. Advertised it said a continental breakfast was included. Turns out all they offer is a brown bag breakfast with a granola bar, orange, muffin, and juice box. We had to go to the Walmart to pickup milk and cereal for our toddler to eat. I’ve never had a hotel say they have a continental breakfast and give you just a baggie…

The staff was very nice and the food at the bar was really good

It was convenient for my needs but a bit busy at times with the recent opening of the sports bar adjoining.

The hotel is advertised on Expedia as having a restaurant and bar, which they do not. With limited options for delivery and not being in easy walking distance, this became a problem for one in our group who needed access to food. Had we known in advance there was no food, we would have brought something with us. Staff was friendly and offered up a vending machine for chips and chocolate bars… but that is not a substitute for an on-site restaurant, which is stated in the advertisement and in the photos. Other than that it was a good experience.

Property is definitely dated and needs a total overhaul but saying that, place is clean, restaurant and bar are awesome. Staff are all amazing too!!

No restaurant as advertised. Breakfast was a in a bag. Driveway was not plowed.

Property requires a lot of attention. Smells like weed in the halls and outside the doors. Pool doesn’t open til 10am. Restaurant is closed! There is nothing mentioned of this on any booking sites or their website. Plan on getting breakfast elsewhere as there is no coffee station or breakfast at the hotel. Rooms are dirty. Don’t believe me? Look under the beds and beside the fridges. We initially book two queen beds, but our son didn’t come with us. When we got to the hotel I asked if any kings were available instead for our two night stay. We were told there was and given a king room. Next morning 10 am, we are on our way out to go to our tour and housekeeping asks if we are checking out. I said no, we are here for another day. That is when they told me that no, front desk had made a mistake the night before and we have to move. Sure enough, I go to front desk and they admit that they were scared to call me. I said “well, it certainly wasn’t great learning it from housekeeping”. I would have moved hotels at this point but there was literally nothing else available in the area (yes, I called around first) We moved to a double room, which I would have had no problem being in initially if they had said they didn’t have a king. When I cleaned our stuff out from the king room I found a half pack of cigarettes, trash and old key card under the bed. Manager was supposed to contact me but never heard a word from her. $15 discount given on room
