Broken and expired elevator. Once they shut elevator down, it got very noisy on stairs by our room. There was constant tromping up and down stairs. constantly kids running in the halls. Daily room cleaning not done very well. Chlorine was very high levels in pool. We could smell all the way on 3rd floor. The windows in room were even fogged over from humidity of pool. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

My kids really enjoyed the pool. The slide is a lot of fun for kids who can swim. It is nice that they had lifejackets available for a couple kids. The hot tub was small, only enough room for about 4-6 people. The breakfast was mediocre and the one staff member was slow to replenish things. The free slushies after checking in were nice. Overall, I'd stay again but the breakfast could be improved

Everything was very good. 2 things that were Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Included breakfast was not up to par. Soggy eggs, too salty and no flavour. Second is parking and exit to street. Parking spaces are limited in evening Exit property you can only turn right to go left you have to go do a u turn at first set of lights.

Everything went well and the breakfast in the AM was good. I would like to mention that the pool has a vent of some kind at the bottom of the pool not flat and when you come off the slide your toes can get caught.... I may have a broken or just very bruised toes as this happened to me.... so be careful. Also do not leave your kids 3 to 11 years unattended in a pool people... I do not know why I need to say that but wow...(parents sitting outside building)

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was average. the pool was heavily chlorinated making some sick including mine. You would think the water would be tested daily for safe conditions for people to swim in and add in only what needed. Lastly the elevator kept breaking down and was out of order 3/4 of the time we were there. People kept getting stuck in it too. Overall not the best stay I’d recommend elsewhere

Noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed. Pool area was dirty, had no towels, the water was freezing and the pool equipment room was wide open and unsafe. Shower head was falling off in the room and toilet kept running. People in elevator with no shoes on their way to the pool.

Room was great, clean, not cramped. It was quiet most of the time until some young hockey players checked in. The pool was nice before the hockey teams got there. Then someone pulled the fire alarm and we had to wait for the fire department to make sure nothing was on fire before they shut off the alarm. Then the elevator was out for a couple of days. Otherwise nice time.

Enjoyed our 3-day stay at the Days Inn in Steinbach while in town for a conference. Deacon greeted us warmly upon arrival. Beds were confortable and hotel was quiet despite being full. Our third floor rooms had been upgraded from carpet in a previos stay 1-year ago to vinyl plank which is much more sanitary. Hot breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles and variety of breads and cereal choices as well as fruit and yogurt. The only issues were a partly filled soap dispenser that ran low durig our stay (housekeeping should check daily) and a chain that broke on the window roll curtain, fortunately in the closed position, as maintenance doesn't work on the weekend) - neither issue enough to lower the Excellent overall rating. Will definitely stay here again when in Steinbach, again.

The beds and living area was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the amenities were nice and the staff were very polite. The washroom was not super clean all around. We encountered an issue with the toilet not flushing properly and unfortunately the staff did not resolve the issue, it remained that way our entire stay.

Great continental breakfast with very nice staff. Clean sheets (bed) but the floor was quite dirty in both the bedroom and the bathroom (bathroom had black hair in it, I am fair haired). Definitely not worth making a fuss over but something for staff to be aware of.

This hotel is an excellent property in pretty much every way. Our group was more than 20 people and everything was good. There is only one thing that almost every person i spoke with agreed: There are 3 pillows on each bed, they are all much too thick, and caused a number of friends to have an uncomfortable sleeping experience, with a very sore neck the next day. Quality of sleep is extremely important so therefore i had to lower an otherwise excellent rating to average.

The hotel was clean and the staff was polite. Concerns: 1. Hotel had a shortage of room keys so the three people in our room had to share one key. This was incredibly inconvenient as we were not always going to the same place at the same time. 2. Bathroom fan was terribly loud but did nothing to ventilate the bathroom at all 3. Heat/AC unit would not regulate the temperature in the room, we were either hot or freezing, no happy medium

We spent 3 nights at this property. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Deacon. We had reserved a king room. Unfortunately threre are only two on the second floor and both are by the elevator so you could hear the bell dinging everytime the elevator door opened. Tip- If you're a light sleeper don't choose a king room. (We requested a room chage, but the hotel was full.) Breakfast was good with hot and cold choices. The bed was comfortable. The only complaints about the romm (other than elevator noise) was a food stain on the carpet in front of the microwave and residue in the toilet (could be hard water staining) that put took the lustre off an otherwise clean room feeling. We would stay here, again, but not in a king room.

The front desk attendant, Deacon, was so friendly and helpful. He asked about where we were from, gave us information on local attractions, and replaced our shower gel bottle (installed on the wall of the shower). We have traveled a lot and typically stay at this kind of hotel, but Deacon really stood out for his hospitality. Our kids also enjoyed the pool and slide, and breakfast was very good.

Staff was very accommodating with changing our room when the elevator was not available. We have heart issues and could not manage stairs. Also they were happy to exchange the cables on the tv as previous patrons had changed the hdmi cables for the gaming system. Overall it was a great experience and will be back.

The staff were unfriendly and not accommodating to our group. We tried to book a hospitality room but we were told it was booked already. There were no occupants in the room the entire time. We were lied to. The house keeping crew left the door unlocked after cleaning - which they just took out the garbage and that was all. No fresh towels and didn’t make the bed either. Not to mention our belongings were in the unlocked room. Staff were rude to our children who went to use the stairs - by accessing through the pool area. The pool area was over chlorinated and burned our eyes and lungs. Many of us were feeling unwell. We booked this hotel for a positive experience with our group and were less than satisfied with the service. In our opinion - it’s not worth the trip to steinbach, especially with a group.

I enjoyed the amenities and the kitchenette. It is beside a busy highway so there is some noise there and access anywhere requires a vehicle. The pool was excellent, towel service was a bit confusing for that. Breakfast was a treat and appreciated. The only negative would be arrival at 3:30pm did not grant us access to the room as it was still being cleaned. Otherwise a great place for a stay with the kids. I will be back

There should be more variety at the breakfast bar, which has sausage 4 out of 5 mornings I was there. I hate sausage. The last night I was there, there was a hockey team staying there and the kids were running up and down the halls and parents congregating in the hallways instead of in one of their rooms. I had a very early flight the next morning and was not happy to be told by staff that they were allowed to make noise until 11 PM! I will say that after I call the front desk to complain, it was quieter.
