Conveniently located off the 401. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were generally clean, but oudated. The pool was much anticipated by the kids, but was freezing - heat should definitely be turned up. Overall a good stay for our purpose.

Hotel was pretty good! Only issue was that the water in the pool was REALLY cold.

We stayed here 2 nights. We picked this hotel because of the pool. The pool was freezing cold. Over the two days neither laundry nor trash was picked up. Because of this we decided to not venture back into the water as we were now concerned that the water quality was not checked given the state of the rest of the poo area. The room was clean. The couch and bed were very worn and saggy and not very comfortable. The water pressure and hot water in the bathroom were minimal. After our first night despite having a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, cleaning staff knocked several times to offer cleaning. Iverall the hotel was not terrible but definitely not great either. I would probably not stay here again.

Pool was closed. Honestly only reason we picked this one over other cheaper ones in the area. Was REALLY hoping for a good swin and didn\'t even offer a kickback like a coupon for the restaurant as an "I\'m sorry" Some advance notice would have been nice. Staff, tho, were really lovely. Like. Just an excellent group of people, all smiles and suuuuuper accommodating to a couple of strange requests we made. Hotel is older, so a lot of the stuff is worn and dated but room was IMPECCABLY clean. No bugs (and we SEARCH very carefully) Almost made up for the lack of pool actually. The pub in the hotel is nice too, it\'s a chain not an independent joint but our server was so so sooooooooooo nice and sweet. Biggest drawback of the place (and this is not the fault of anyone working there) was. It\'s kinda super haunted. Like. You can just FEEL the presence of something otherworldly. Alas, that\'s not something one can often get a refund for so we stuck it out anyway.

We booked this hotel because it had a pool. We are terribly disappointed that it is closed for maintenance.

Parking was easy. Check -in and check-out was smooth

The room was dirty, flies on windowsill, cobwebs in corners, mold in the bathroom and had a very musty smell. I informed the staff but they really did not care. The pool was out of service which was the reason I booked this hotel.

Bed bugs found after first night stay. Front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive as if they did not believe. Only after pictures were produced to their maintenance person, did their time change. Manager was quite helpful and tried to explain and assure. Full refund was given after I informed them I was leaving due to the bugs. Originally hotel offered to switch our room.

Our disappointment began the moment we entered the room. It was visibly dirty, with hair on the ceiling, pink mold around the tub, and graffiti and rips on the wallpaper. The neglect was further evident in broken amenities: the curtain valance was missing, and the TV remote was broken and unusable. To add to the frustration, the pool was out of service for our entire stay. This hotel is not worth the savings. I strongly recommend paying a little more to book a hotel in Belleville instead.

The entire building smelled of moldy/feces. Our room smelled horribly, outside our ground floor room was a very slimey garbage area. There was mice droppings on the ottoman and inside window sill. There was no water pressure. We stayed for approximately 5 minutes then checked out. Our room was 126. Never been a hotel room that smelled so bad.

Terrible stay, dirty, smelly and outdated. Mould in fridge, holes and stains on sheets.

It was filthy-carpet, bathtub, bed scarf had a large blood stain on it. Would never stay there again ever.shame on Ramada Trenton for what you charged us.

The room we stayed in certainly had been tidied not cleaned. Under the bed I found beer cans and ice cream wrappers. I pulled out the sofa bed to sleep on and it looked like it had never been cleaned. Crumbs everywhere, wrappers, leftovers. Overall I wasn’t impressed with the hygienic factors of our room.

The hotel is run down all over. The sheer curtain in our room had an extremely large hole in it. In fact it was shredded. The bathroom tub is old and rusty. The floor along the tub is filthy with a large clump of encrusted dirt embedded in the corner by the tub and door. The side of the bed where I slept the mattress had a long and good width sunken area that my feet dropped into. The rooms and halls smell and you can see the dirt in the carpets. My daughter’s bathroom had hair on the ceiling above the tub. We all won’t return. The restaurant was great.

The worker at the desk during my checking it was rude. The cleaness of the room it was nor bad but good be improved. I saw a lot of dust and hairs behind the couch and night stands. I found a nest of ants inside the clock.

The hotel was dated and in need of repair. Our room had a strong marijuana odor, and when we brought it to the front desk's attention, they only offered to spray air freshener. The bed sheets were also stained. It was a gross experience, and I would not recommend it.

The hotel was clean. The staff were very nice. However, the hotel is way overdue for a renovation. The beds are not comfortable. The pillows are lumpy, and the place is just plain tired. It’s time for a major overhaul.

Staff was good, hotel was very dated and run down. Room mini fridge did not work, some in room lights didn’t work, and electrical sockets didn’t hold plugs in. Wouldn’t recommend staying here for the cost.

The faucet in the bathtub did not work properly. The decor was very outdated. The hotel appearwd rundown. But it was mostly clean.

Place was ok for an overnight stop but overpriced. Soft mattress, small bathroom. Tub not draining. Rooms need serious updating. Elevator to third floor room but then had to negotiate 4 steps with our suitcases!

Booked and paid for a queen room, bed was definitely not a queen. Mattress was curved up in the edges so that my husband and I kept rolling to the centre. Room is very dated. Girl at front desk gave us room keys to a room that was already occupied, thankfully she noticed just as we put the key in the door. Room was acceptable but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Keys did not work when we checked in. Had to head back to front desk to get the keys reprogrammed. WIFI did not work for duration of our stay. We’re told when we complained that our end hotel was not working and Bell Canada was contacted. 2 Hrs later we were told Bell said system was working fine, still no WIFI on phone or iPad.Told at check out there is nothing they could do for us, call Expedia.

This hotel is long past needing a renovation. Room smelled musty upon entering. The one seating chair was stained. One of our beds had a divot in the middle and was not a good place to sleep.

Absolutely great value for the dollar. Friendly staff. The only hiccough was when I went to use the iron and it ruined my shirt. Went to reception and asked the lady to have a new one put in my room. She neglected to do it. I did end up getting one by asking another lady at the reception later.

Staff was great. Door key cards did not work at first attempt. Door handle and locking device sticky had to juggle door to get open.

We got off the highway earlier and called to see if we could check in before 3 and were told 2 would be okay. We got there and they charged us $15.00 extra to check in at 2 - what a surprise. We travel a lot and have stayed there before. Never have we been charged extra for a whole hour anywhere The pool was cloudy, so we didn't swim. Everytime we go there it gets dirtier and dirtier. We were not at all impressed and the $15.00 charge was very peddy.

Super location for my trip. Staff were professional and adjacent bar and grill a bonus. You can say Kris Kringle approved.

No issues with property or price. Major dislike was the online check in/pre registration. I got notification to check in. Provided all the information including credit card. Got confirmation text citing just pick up room key upon arrival. NOT THE CASE. I was advised they dont do online check in at this time and the third party was told not to initiate with guests. I had to provide the information all over again.

My overall experience with Ramada in general was terrible starting with the reservations line & ending with my stay. I was travelling with my daughter & 4 grandchildren (2 under 2) I sent an email to the hotel which never was responded to. I called the reservations line two days in a row at their recommendation. They couldn’t tell me if I would have adjoining rooms. On the day before my arrival the reservations line told me I would have to wait until I checked in to find out if my rooms were adjoining. Ridiculous! When I did finally check in the receptionist put us in adjoining rooms on the third floor. She saw we had small children with a stroller and a baggage cart but put us up there anyway. You have to go down three stairs to get from the elevator to the rooms. So back I go to the reception desk & wait while she finds us rooms on the second floor (no stairs). When we finally get all that sorted & go to the rooms, our first room was propped open. Who knows how long it was like that! So in I go, leaving my family in the hall while I check it out to make sure everything is ok in there. Again, ridiculous! On we proceed to the second room only to discover that the keys do not work. Three more times to the reception before we finally have keys that work. On my first trip back to the desk I notice a sign that says the pool is closed for maintenance. No one at any time made me aware of the closure & the shower in my room was dirty. Such a colossal disappointment. Never book

Originally booked room was already used. Alternate room OK. Breakfast was not included as advertised. We had to pay for breakfast at the Piper Arms Pub located in the motel lobby.

Perfect place to stop. So many restaurant choices within walking distance. So easy to find from the 401

It’s nice clean place- it’s convenient for travellers by car as the highway is close by- but other modes of transport it is not

The property is located right off the HWY 401 in Trenton. It's very close to CFC Trenton and downtown area. If you are looking an affordable hotel with pool, fitness facilities and restaurant that serves breakfast then this would be a good choice. It is very far from Prince Edward County about 40 minutes away. If you're willing to drive then it's ok. There are many fast food and breakfast restaurants close by. There are two gas stations as well. It was comfortable one night stay and I would come again if visiting Trenton or Belleville.

Right off the highway (is good) and walking distance to various food options. We ate a dinner and a breakfast in the main floor restaurant - both meals were better than expected! Dinner was slow because it was very busy, breakfast was slow because? I'm not sure. We'd stay again.

We were expecting to pay less acordung to the online original pricing. Also we partly chose the Ramada Trenton for the breakfas which we were informed was discontinued ia year ago.. please update your online ammenities where the included breakfast is concernrd

Overall is very good. If they includes breakfast for customers, it will be perfect!

The restaurant had excellent food and the staff were friendly and made the effort to ensure we had an enjoyable time and the hours were very accommodating. For the most part, our room was clean and comfortable with a couple of exceptions. First, the mattress was in bad need of replacement. We spent the night both rolled into the hole in the middle of the bed, so not very comfortable. Second, the bathroom, I'm not even sure where to start. This bathroom was in serious need of a complete renovation. The toilet was the lowest to the floor I have ever seen in my life, very uncomfortable. Both the sink and the tub had large pieces of porcelain missing that were sloppily painted over, but had spots of rust and the grout everywhere was filthy and very badly done. The owners should really be embarrassed. We really enjoyed our stay based on the restaurant and excellent staff, but the bed and bathroom would be deal breakers. If those improvements were made, it would become a favourite place for us to go.

Building and rooms were clean, staff was friendly. There is one “pub” otherwise you have to leave the hotel for food. Arrived around 7:30 first night was tired, pub was open but loud atmosphere not suited to a long drive. There was nothing to eat in the room and no room service option. Rooms are adequate but tv is old with limited cable channels. Bathroom plumbing is run down, shower faucet is loose, toilet leaks. It was a fine 3* establishment. Nothing wrong with it but not great.
