This property did not disappoint. Location was perfect. Close to 401, food options and entertainment. Hotel was clean and the outdoor pool was a huge bonus. Love that breakfast is included and hot food options are available. Will stay there again.

Breakfast was very good ....beds were comfy ....but need more then one elevator cause it was extremely slow and we came in at 1:00 am and there was a bunch of people partying in the eating area ....and only one ice machine at the 1st floor ...had to go down the slow elevator from the 4th floor for ice ...

This hotel is conveniently located near the main highway 401. Hotel is clean. Staff were friendly. A washer and dryer for guests would have been nice along with indoor pool.

How does this hotel get such great reviews? Very misleading photos! I will say that the rooms were spacious, clean, with nice linen and good bedding (that’s really the most important thing), but the hotel itself is very tight and cramped and just feet off of a busy highway. Breakfast choices are good but hardly any seating or outside table options. The pool is much smaller than it appears in photos and swimmers will be practically gasping on exhaust fumes from the cars flying by just feet away. There is one elevator which, in the morning is commandeered by the housekeeping staff/manager, so be prepared to do stairs. The hotel is fine for an overnight, but if you are preparing for a pleasant vacation stay, keep looking.

Check in was easy - loved that they had a little snack bar kind of place where you could buy snacks and drinks - room was clean - bed was comfy - only recommendation would be upgrading the tv so you could log in to streaming services OR the ability to cast to the tv form your own device, otherwise, everything was fantastic!

It’s a nice property. I’ve stayed here previously. It’s quiet and the breakfast is good. The only complaint was that our room was never cleaned or made up while we were there. We left the property just after 10am and returned after 6pm and we were very disappointed to see a room that had not been cleaned. We had no towels, as the previous ones were left in a pile for easy cleanup. Our beds were unmade. After a long day, it’s nice to return to a clean hotel room. We all wanted to shower and just get into bed-this prolonged the night for us since we had to request new, clean towels etc.

Other than the friendly staff, this hotel fell short of expectations. Having stayed at Holiday Inn Express numerous times before at other locations before this stay, my expectations were high. We found leftover food in our fridge, hair in our shower and the hand towel that I unfortunately used to dry my face had something on it that I just couldn’t describe. I was looking forward to breakfast to help make up for the cleanliness, but with limited seating (we ate in our room instead) and a breakfast that fell short I left there feeling very dissapointed. Sadly I’ll be choosing a different location next time or maybe a different chain altogether.

Bathroom could have been cleaner . Grout on the floor looks really gross. Tiny hairs from previous occupant were on the shower walls etc Room was booked for 4 people but only put towels for 2. The linens were wrinkled and pillow case had a rip . Breakfast was great .

Check in was easy. Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The breakfast offerings on both days were excellent and plentiful and the breakfast servers on both days were friendly and helpful. The only drawbacks here were: it was somewhat difficult to connect with someone on the phone when I called the front desk for information and I had to call back in to get an electronic copy of my invoice despite being told that one would be emailed to me. The bed, while initially comfy, turned out to have two “dips” in it as if people slept on the mattress in the same spot constantly. I had a king bed.

Mostly good stay. Rooms have lots of space, bed and pillows very comfortable. Room was clean and had a nice area with fridge and microwave. Had a bit of an issue with Heating/cooling system but they sorted it out right away after I called. I was right next to elevator and could hear every time it was in operation. Do not get a room on same side/next to elevator ! Otherwise great place

I cannot say enough positives. We had the king suite, and the room did not disappoint. It was spacious and clean. The rooms air conditioner cooled the rooms quickly and was relatively quiet. The bathroom had a walk in shower and housekeeping actually knocked on the door in the morning to offer us new towels. The staff were all super nice, allowing us to socialize in peace. The breakfast was amazing. They changed what they served each morning. There are restaurants right across the street and easy on/off highway access. I would be more than happy to return when the opportunity arises. 🤗

Was greeted by an extremely friendly bearded man who joked about being from the North. North Bay he said, not North Poll. Made the grandkids laugh with that comment. He is an asset to your establishment.

I was given a room on the second floor right next to the elevator. the elevator was extremely loud (abnormal sound). I could hear it in my room while I was trying to sleep. finally at 1 am I complained to the front desk. They said nothing could be done , I was not going to receive a discounted price since I book with Expedia. the following morning another employee admitted that there is an on going issue with the elevator and got me another room for my second night. good on the second staff member for being active. Shane on the first employee for lieing and ignoring my issue.

I have to admit that, for a long time, I never experienced such high-end five-star service in a regular hotel. The level of cleanliness and the fantastic staff, who are happy and willing to help at any time, are incredible. Every staff member I interacted with was so excited to do extra work beyond their job responsibilities. The front desk, the person from the breakfast ( George was amazing and working so hard to make everyone happy, anticipated every need, and was cleaning continuously). I want to congratulate the management of this hotel. We went for a day at the SPA to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we decided to spend the night in Whitby, and it was a great decision. No one at the hotel knew why we were there, but I noticed the level of service was excellent for each and every guest. Please let your team know that they are making a difference by doing what they are doing! Thank you!

Excellent property! Close to restaurants and shopping. Only issue was that we were charged twice for our stay, overcharged by $480. The hotel stated they had no record of this but when I insisted that I was looking at the fees they realized their error and refunded promptly.

Anything and everything was excellent. The overnight night person (Rob) was just great to us. He actually loves the overnight shift. He loves to talk to clients. He helped my partner when she cut her finger. He gave us 3 bandaids and 2 antiseptic packages. We will be back. Thank you!

We were here for a night and reached the property early due to the snow storm. The staff was very accommodating and nice as they let us check in 4 hours earlier from 3pm check in time. A special shout out to the gentleman at the front desk as he was very kind and accommodating. The room was cozy, nice with some nice amenities. This location was convenient too as we were visiting thermea spa nearby. The only downside of this hotel (not the staff’s fault) was that there were too many kids making noise on our floor in the lobby at night. Other than that, pleasant stay! :)

Everything was immaculate our room was so clean and that bed…..amazing!!! The staff were all super nice and helpful. My only complaint is the lack of space in the breakfast area to sit and eat and no food left at 800. I can’t comment on the pool because we didn’t use it.
