The staff were excellent and when my rewards number didn’t appear after being queried he went the extra to ensure i obtained my points by doing a thorough search of my name and address. The room was very adequate for our needs, clean and comfortable. It was a drive up which was excellent for my wife do to some limited mobility. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

The property is showing its age a bit. BUT - my room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I liked that there was a microwave and mini-fridge. There are also a few different options of types of room - but they are all drive-up so your car is right outside your room. I found the TV easy to work also, unlike some hotels. Wifi signal was strong.

My room was disgusting. After driving for 12 hrs I wanted to have a nice relaxing bath. The tub had a dirty ring around it which I cleaned. I got into the tub and noticed a pubic hair under the tap. That was disgusting. I let the water out and decided to take a shower. I reached for the rubber mat on the floor next to the vanity and noticed hair and dirt on the floor next to the mat. I did have a very quick shower and I noticed a urine smell in the bathroom. The hinges that connect the toilet seat to the toilet had no cover over the screws and there was dirt and hair and what I presume was urine on them. Needless to say there was no chance of me going into the pool. I cant imagine how unsanitary it may have been. That was the most disgusting motel room that I have ever stayed in I assumed that by choosing the Howard Johnson motel it would be clean but I was wrong. I do not recommend that anyone stay there. I am very disappointed as it was not a cheap motel. I will not be staying at another one

The room itself was actually very dirty. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. Bathroom very dirty . Wasn’t the most enjoyable stay but did the job for the very brief sleep we needed .

The room was not very clean . In particular the washroom was dirty . The sink also did not drain properly . The staff were friendly but would not recommend due to uncleanliness . If you just need a bed to sleep in for the night I guess it’s all right but not ideal .

The room was not clean enough for my standards. Baseboards, grout and blinds very dirty. Towels stained. But beds were hard but clean enough and the rate was pretty cheap. All of that to say I wouldn’t stay again.

There was a lot of human hair behind the bathroom door and a dried-up leaf in the corner of the main room. This made my stay uncomfortable wondering if there were other areas that were not cleaned properly. I will not be returning to this property.

Staff member went out of his way to make us comfortable. Got tv working after several trips to the room. Provided paper plates and cutlery when delivery service failed to bring requested utensils. He was very pleasant and personable. Took an interest in making sure we were content and didn’t need anything. Would stay there again.

Clean and neat property. Very convenient location and lots of parking and open space as well. Rooms are maintained well. Very friendly staff ( Philip) . Was very helpful and courteous. Allowed us to park at a convenient spot . As the hotel was fully booked there was not enough towels for all our family , but Philip provided some extra towels to help with . I would recommend the management to keep enough towels / toiletries .

It's high up on a hill, overlooking the Woodstock area right off the highway. Even with the highway, it's still quiet in the room. I slept a good 8 hours. The sheets were clean, everything was good.

The property is very convenient to the highway and is very easy to find. The fellow at the front desk was very friendly. The room was adequate but the property is in definite need of a complete renovation. Breakfast was very basic. It was nice to have it included but it would have been nice to have more protein offerings.
