Stayed 1 night

We showed up at 10 p.m with 3 kids 5-15. The manager told us we didn’t have a room. Us and 20th other people lost our rooms to overbooking. My family had to sleep in our van because of the time of year everything within 2 hrs was booked. They took our $ and it wasn’t refundable. This place is a scam.

When I went to check in on the night of my stay they said "We had to cancel your room, due to double bookings of yours and other rooms, so we have NO availability tonight. Talk to hotels.com to get your refund." Ummm excuse me! This booking was reserved, paid for fully, as well as confirmed over a month ago!! Also received reminder email and rate my stay email day of!A pissed! nd of course there were no last minute hotels within 100 mile radius. With prepaid events following early morning my daughter and I had to stay in town so the car it was. Beyond pissed. Never again.

There was a security guard in the hotel. There were also people in the hotel who said they were sharing rooms with people who they didn’t know, and there were also people in the hotel who said they were renting a room from someone else.
