Hampton Inn St. Louis/Chesterfield

Quiet, they had done some remodeling. Very convenient to major roads

Parking was safe. Place was well maintained. They did not have a shuttle bus to close events. Was very quiet for being close to interstate 64. Would stay there again.

Parking lot is small, most is in the back, but felt safe enough. Hotel lobby and cafeteria were fine. Front desk staff was in pajamas for a 9pm check in, I guess that passes as professional wear, but she was nice enough. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The bathroom, especially the bath/shower was in drastic need of repair; the caulk was missing ripped out around the tub, it was stained as was the shower curtain.

Property was well taken care of and the heated swimming pool looks awesome.

This was a slightly older hotel with a few upgrades but it was clean and well kept, the staff were nice but also unobtrusive and the pool was the perfect temperature. I’d stay here again.

Under renovation and needs more updating compared to other Hamptons. First room had bad odor so had to switch immediately.

Youth baseball tournament participants were running wild through the halls up to and beyond 10 pm. Feel like there should have been a warning at check in. Pool had unsupervised kids which kept me from being able to enjoy some peace and unwind after a 13 hr drive. In spite of the chaos, the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient in addressing my concerns. The breakfast staff were phenomenal- very cheerful and energetic in keeping things stocked and managing the flow of lots of unsupervised kids making messes. Anyway to address guests who do not supervise their kids?

Room smelled awful! Everything was damp to the touch. Tub was dirty. Checked out & checked into another hotel

Our room had an air conditioner that was leaking. The carpet was all wet. The room smelled like mold.

Shampoo and conditioner was empty upon arrival when I tried to shower!

The location of the hotel was perfect for us which is why we stayed there. We've stayed before and never had an issue, however this time our room was not so great. As soon as you entered the room the smell of mold was super strong. This was far more than just a musty smell due to an underused room, this was straight up moldy. The AC in our room was also extremely loud, even by normal hotel standards. We delt with it all since it was just a one night stay, if it had been longer we wouldnt asked for a room change for sure. Hopefully if we return we will not be reassinged that room!

Like other reviews mention, the staff were very nice. I do question their cleanliness standards. I was tired and coming off a 12 hour drive and would have slept anywhere, but I still noticed when I got to my room there was old trash in the trash cans, hair on the bed and floor, and a dead cockroach stuck in the glass frame of one of the paintings in the room- no idea how that hasn’t been taken care of yet. It’s in a good location but unless they up their standards I wouldn’t stay again.

Very musty, damp and had a moldy odor. Switched from one room to another and it was no better.

Carpets were wet room reeked of must. Snacks in vending machine were expired

The bathroom and entryway floor was extremely dirty. The hotel corrected after we talked with them but no idea how it could have been that dirty.

Nice comfortable place to stay. However, it is near a highway so I would not get a room near the highway. Get it on the other side. Also, there are no restaurants within walking distance. But it does have a microwave and a small refrigerator and the breakfast were good and the staff was friendly.

The toilet was stopped up there's no clock in the room and there was no chair for the desk the beds were not comfortable

It was clean. Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. Seemed quiet.

Staff were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the toiletries were free from harmful chemicals. The hotel was easy to get to off the interstate and get back on the road in the morning. And the continental breakfast was better than some we’ve had.

We had to pay extra for our dogs and the bed was terrible. We fought from falling in the middle of the bed all night long. We did not get a restful sleep. The service we got was wonderful. The bathroom sink faucet hot and cold hookups were plumbed backwards. We got hot water when we turned the faucet to cold visa versa.

AC and TV didn't work.

Family friendly and rooms kept out noise

We were so happy with the staff at this location . From check in to check out . Any time a staff member walked by, they greeted you or stopped to talk to you . That's really rare these days . We actually felt welcomed not like we were a bother . The breakfast area was well maintained and clean and had plenty of choices with hot options included . One of the better tasting breakfasts we've had in a while . The hotel rooms were clean as well as the common areas . There are some cosmetic repairs that need done, but there are signs around saying they are updating . The beds and pillows were super comfortable . We enjoyed our overnight stay . Great job Hampton Employees you made our stay excellent !!

The staff here were all so friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again. Easy to get to from the highway. Felt very safe. Can’t say enough about the staff.

We arrived after traveling in bad storms to a hotel without power. They were very prepared and friendly despite the circumstances. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. I would recommend staying here.

Nice hotel, so quiet and safe, with a couple of restaurants and gas stations you can walk 5 minutes from the hotel. 30 minutes driving from St. Louis downtown and Chesterfield shopping area. Clean and comfortable. Recommendable.

3rd stay here. It's so convenient. Right by the highway, but very quiet. Close to a lot of dining, shopping, and leisure options. About 30 minutes from Six Flags and Downtown. Great staff and nice rooms.

The staff is amazing! Check in and out process is easy, breakfast bar is terrible. We did have a problem with water. We stayed three days and the second day we were there we were gone all day. When we returned to the hotel we noticed water on the bathroom floor. We immediately notified staff who came right down. They said the shower was also wet and contributed the water on the floor to the shower. There was nothing wrong with the draining process in the shower so we knew the water problem wasn’t that. We didn’t say anything and were thankful they mopped it right up with a dry mop but wondered if there was a broken seal somewhere in the bathroom. But later that evening when the floor dried we noticed small white flecks of what appeared to be small pieces of toilet paper now dried on the floor. I mentioned it to the man when we checked out. My fault for not contacting housekeeping right away. Our first morning was great until the landscaping crew didn’t realize we were sitting on the bench and turned the sprinklers on, getting me wet. He apologized. The second night we came outside to smoke and were greeted by a raccoon in the parking lot. But when we were done smoking we wanted to go back inside but this darn raccoon didn’t want us near the entrance door. When we moved positions, he moved. We decided to steer clear of the door and waited for this silly raccoon to finally leave and move on.

Even though it was Thanksgiving, staff made sure there was plenty of breakfast choices for travelers. Great coffee too!

We were going to see a concert at The Factory in Chesterfield, and the Hampton inn had the best price for rooms nearby the facility. The rooms were very pleasant and up to date, the chocolate chip cookies on arrival were a welcome treat, and the breakfast menu included a keto friendly egg and sausage option for my partner. It was a great stay!
