Very nice clean place to stay! Rooms were nice and clean and the pool was nice and clean! Good breakfast also!

The young lady that was checking us in, she was on the phone the whole time. The ice machines were not working on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There was no air moving in the hall walls. Looks like the air conditioners were taken out for possible remodeling. Looks like they are trying to remodel but it needs a lot of updating. Housekeeping did come everyday!!! That is a definite plus!! Room key was deactivated when we came back from being out all day and almost night, so had to go get the keys reactivated and the gentleman was very nice about it. Check out personal was very nice and pleasant.

Room was clean. No working ice maker on the property

Room was filthy. NO ice machines worked. Food was not edible due to it being old/stale/reheated too many times etc

Beds were ok. Elevators need updated. Fine for a few nights stay!

The elevator was broken and the fridge in our room was broken. Also the heat didn’t work.

The only ice machine was a very small home type appliance. Hotel was average at best. Not worth thr rate charged.

The afternoon we checkked in the lady behind the counter was mopping the floor working her butt off. They were short of help and the pipes had frozen on the 3rd floor during the cold spell so there was some h2o damage on back half of the building. No ice becuse ice machine got drowned. Breakfast was great Room was clean, help were friendly.

Great place to stop on our trip to Florida. It was clean and staff was friendly. The room wasn't the best. TV didn't work and you could see daylight all around the door. The elevator is very slow and got stuck a few times. It was fine for what we needed but if I was staying longer I would find someplace else

I booked this hotel because it had very good reviews. My family and I arrived around 10 at night because we were driving in from out of state. My son had a track meet early the next morning, and we were really tired after the drive. First, upon entering the hotel, well when I attempted to enter, the first set of automatic doors was stuck. They would not open. Another patron had to pry the doors open for me. Secondly, there was no one at the front desk; no bell or anything to alert staff if someone needed assistance. I thought maybe the person stepped away for a moment and would be back shortly. After watching myself on the surveillance screen for about 8 minutes, I decided to call the hotel to see if someone would appear. After about the tenth ring, a gentleman emerged from I don't know where, and I was finally able to check in. He was nice, and everything after that was a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Our bed was made when we returned from the meet (my son had his belongings on his bed, so I understand why it wasn't made), the garbage was changed, and the towels were refreshed. Despite a couple of snafus in the beginning, I'd stay here again (hopefully the doors will work by then 🙂).

Check in staff was pleasant and helpful, but our room smelled terribly musty and the floor and bed felt damp. Additionally, the bed linens were stained.

The room was on the first floor and the humidity in the room was noticable. We had the AC turned down to 65 degrees and we were either sweating or freezing. The humidity also caused some visible mold on the bathroom ceiling and on the tub fixtures. The beds weren't all that comfortable either. My mattress was soft and had a noticeable dip. The breakfast was free so I will reframe from critiquing that.

Immediately had safety concerns bc property isolated on a dead end street. The front desk employee was friendly, but check-in should have been quicker bc I was the only one at the desk. Upon opening the room door, the odor slapped me in the face. It was warm, musty, dank, & the carpet next to the bed was damp. There was a broken fingernail & a pubic hair on the toilet set. Stayed long enough to reserve a room at another property. Left key in front desk key drop off bc no one was at the desk. The other customers were loud in the hallway & could hear others through the wall. Checked out within 30 minutes of checking in

Room was clean

Well kept and very clean.

First our door didn’t close/lock. When we went to the front desk the girl followed us up and then shrugged at us and said she would tell maintenance tomorrow. No one ever came to check it out. It dragged along the floor and made awful noise. (No safe in room to lock our belongings with lack of lock and no offer to move rooms) The room was incredibly humid and smelly. There’s no vent fan in the bathroom and the ceiling/ door frame were COVERED in black mold. So humid in the entire room our towels never dried even 24 hours later. House keeping knocked at 8:45 AM the second day and without waiting proceeded to open the door on us. (There was no door sign in our room to put out). Also every ice maker in the entire building happens to be broken/ non existent. Let’s just say if you can find another hotel- I would.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is very convenient to the interstate but tucked away in a quiet area so that you don't have traffic noises all night. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was old and dirty.

This property was exceptionally clean and actually had a good fresh smell when walking in. Front desk staff was super friendly, nice, and helpful.

Lobby clean rooms clean good a/c

I liked the property. It sits away from the freeway and in a wooded area. It was nice and quiet. The room was extremely clean the hotel was clean the issue was the unit did not cool very well in the room and it's summer time. The breakfast was good.

Room was just what we needed. A little outdated but bed was comfy. Breakfast was okay but service was excellent. We just needed a quick stay and I would go again.

It looks like the hotel was just updated and New furnishings. However, the beds were uncomfortable and sagged in the middle.

My stay was great! One night on my way home to Pensacola. The room was awesome, had a sitting area, the pool was clean and warm enough for my Florida bones. The entry light was even cooler than a normal hotel room. I seem to notice nicer rooms when I rent a King rather than 2 queens/doubles. I thought it might be a problem being directly across from the elevator on the 3rd floor, but no problem at all. It's tucked away is a nice little spot, but close to shopping and restaurants. And affordable!

The front desk attendant was very friendly. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was perfect for a quick meal before our drive

The staff was okay. Our room, however, was awful. The first night we got zero sleep due to the refrigerator making awfully loud noises all night. It was nearly impossible to reach the plug but we managed to unplug it the next day. We also couldn't use the bathroom because our toilet was stopped up and the lobby bathroom was broken as well. I was given a nasty plunger to attempt fixing our own toilet but to no avail. We had to leave every time we needed to use the bathroom. Terrible experience!

The tv would not turn on. The MOD. I attempted to call the front desk, but the room phone was inop. I went to the lobby and advised him of the issues. He came and got the television working after monkeying around with the plug. ( I experienced the same issue the next morning). I asked for instructions on how to operate the remote. None were available in the room, but I could get them at the front desk. I stated that it would be better in the room. He just shrugged his shoulders. He was able to get everything working after about 30 minutes, but on questioning about the tv, he said that they probably would not replace it. I’ll not be back there again.

Noise from the interstate was loud and the room noise from adjacent rooms was loud as well.

Wife and I stopped here while travelling. It’s was okay, surfaces and bedding were clean, dig a little or move some furniture and the it wasn’t so clean. Wifi was not good at all, cable TV was not good at all. Property is okay, building is dated and in need of repair or renovation. Doors don’t seal tight, exterior rear door did not work, lots of patches on walls etc, noise from other patrons did travel, although not crazy loud. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Overall, not fantastic, but okay for a stop during a road trip.

Verry helpfull ar gront desk is laminated paper with places that deliver to the hotel. Quick check in. We had an issue with the people above us jumping around late but the staff was quick to take care of the issue and was so apologetic.

Check in was a breeze, lots of options for breakfast, it was a great experience and we will be back again.

We were in town for the Magic City Mimosa Festival and needed a place to stay for the night. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nice and clean. The front desk agent was nice and very helpful. And the hotel was in a nice and quiet area. I look forward to staying at this location again.

Complete RipOff This hotel charged us twice and refused to refund the money. The manager of the hotel was always unavailable and would not return phone calls.

Overall everything was good. At check-in I was asked to show my card ( payment method) which the guy swiped causing me to pay twice. My reservation was prepaid through Hotels.com so I didn't understand his reason for swiping the card again. At this time the refund has not been refunded. And per the front desk wokers refunds take 24 hours. Again I still have not received my refund. The location was a plus, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was "not my preference". I would stay here again. The rate was actually cheaper ($40) if I would have book directly with the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and the friendly staff was a bonus.

Staff was rude, charged myself and another guest twice for the same night. Broken door handles and the door to the room was crooked. It scraped along the floor when you tried to open it. The “jacuzzi” was in ill repair and dirty. For what we paid, we could have had a nicer property in a much more convenient area.

The phone rang, but nobody answered. The cell phone in the room look like it had food stains all over it and nail polish spilt on the floor by the bed. The bathtub is cracked. The bed was OK, but that’s probably the only thing.

A nice quite place situated in the woods

It was great for the price and location near I 65

a very convenient hotel easy off and on the highway.

Tucked away in the trees, but very close to dining and other amenities.

The staff was very friendly upon check-in. The room was clean and well kept. Very convenient to the interstate, restaurants, and shopping. Close to Birmingham, but far enough away from the city traffic.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is very convenient to the interstate but tucked away in a quiet area so that you don't have traffic noises all night. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel sign was out, so we weren’t totally sure of the place when we arrived. The first room had no hot water, so we had to change. The second room was okay, but the dispensers in the shower were empty and there was only one very small soap bar. This was a disappointing stay and we would not recommend it.

Breakfast was poor. Extremely limited selection and two of the four breakfasts had no eggs. Other similarly priced hotels have a much better breakfast variety included.

Keys did mot work. Assigned a handicap room without asking for it. Finally got another room but the deadbolt did not work. Folks were friendly. Breakfast was sparse because the food truck did not deliver on time.

For a reasonably priced, interstate hotel, this was great. Rooms were clean. Staff was so nice. Breakfast was simple, very good, plentiful, and well staffed--normal pastries, juices, and cereals eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, grits, fruit, etc. The property was in good shape. TY for a great experience.

We stayed one night as we travel back to Texas. I always check reviews before we stay somewhere. The reviews for this hotel were pretty good so we decided to give it a try and I’m glad we did! Check in was smooth and the front desk was friendly, the room was clean, the ice machine worked great, nice hot water in the shower, the beds were very comfortable, room stayed cool, and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend staying here if you are traveling. We will stay again when we come back this way. Thank you to the staff for all that you do to make our stay comfortable.

Decent stay. Only issue was the breakfast only had pork. No turkey, beef or chicken options for those of us that don’t eat the swine.
