Hotel was difficult to get to because lack of frontage road access. Room smelt of smoke. Shower would be really hot or really warm and shower head was very low so us tall people got our knees wet at least. They only had two towels one nice one and one rageity one for the four of us. Parking was hard with our pickup and trailer. Some guest were outside in parking lot making a racket at 330 in morning.

Each room is its own unit. We did not have to deal with any noise from the hall or rooms beside us. We didn’t even hear the traffic from the highway. So nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely stay there again even though the shower is a bit awkward if you are tall.

I found the staff member i dealt with pleasant. The chalets were cute on the outside. There was a bit of disrepair on the inside but nothing major and it looked like some of it was started already just not completed. Came with private heater and AC. Nice also when you don't share walls or hallways with loud neighbors. Didn't really hear a noise all night.

Adorable roadside motel in Brandon. Rooms are individual mini chalets with porches. This motel could use an update, but the room was acceptably clean and the beds were comfortable. The best part was the cute chalets.

Wanted two beds. They said that they only have king beds left. One night on a queen bed that dipped in the middle was enough. Main area of the room. You get what you pay for. Bed sheets were clean. I know everybody has their own views on cleanliness. Sink, toilet, and bathtub looked clean. But stared wondering how clean they really were. Walls and floor had a very different story. They were not clean. As for outside. Driving up they are cute little chalets. We had one along the back that had garage bags piled beside it.

I expected shabby, run down and I expected clean. Instead, I found it’s filthy. We are in unit 13 and stuck here, two double beds, dirty/stained bed spreads and duvets. At least we are separated from the duvets by seemingly clean sheets. We THINK. The carpet is hugely stained and appears to have never been shampooed. There is dirt, dust and simple marks on the bathroom floor that would come off with no more than a rub, but alas - not before we arrived. We won’t walk around without shoes on at all times. Our feet stick to the floor. The fridge is clean and the person at the front desk told me how to figure out the faded panel of the air conditioner cuz I sure couldn’t read it due to it being permanently rubbed off the display. This property looked decent in the online pics, just a basic room. When I opened the door the stench of cigarettes and dirty feet hits you. The floor had black grease? Stains all over the already dirty carpet. I went to Walmart and purchased a pillow, 2 blankets and a candle. I did not want to sleep on the dirty flat pillows provided. This property needs a zero rating for cleanliness, front desk check in was friendly.

I checked out after 2 nights and asked for a refund for the 3rd night. Agreed. I have not received a credit yet. The Little Chalet is under renovations to upgrade the conditions. Ask for a guarantee of a complete reno. renovated

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't want my worst enemy to spend a night. The room stinks like mildew, mold and smoke. The carpet is absolutely filthy, the bedding was all dirty and stained. The furniture is all old, dirty or broken. The walls and doors have never been cleaned and you can easily tell. The tv has barely any channels, the remote hardly works. There was no alarm clock or hand soap in the washroom. It truly looks like the after morning 5 minute clean up of a party at a crack house. I almost want to call Manitoba health and have this place shut down. You could not pay me enough to ever step foot in one of those chalets again.

The little chalet theme is cute.. nice and private. Rooms are very dated…not dirty though. Mattress was hard as a piece of plywood. Pillows not good. Bathroom was clean and ok.. but not much hot water. I’d say it’s a 59.00 hotel room. Not 70.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is cute from the outside but bare bones on the inside. Carpet was full of old cigarette burns. The door knob was broken to the bathroom and my husband got locked in. We did have nice neighbours beside us!

The owner was courteous and kind checking us in considering we were a late check in. You can tell they are putting in effort and care to modernize the chalets. I noticed the chain was missing from the door but didnt realize until I was settled in the whole door jamb was cracked from it previously being kicked in. If I had noticed sooner, I would have asked for a different room. My favourite part, though, was the giant new tub that made me wish I brought my favourite bubble bath & rubber duckie.

This was a utilitarian room. The beds were comfortable but the rug badly needed to be shampooed. The outside door lock was iffy and the bathroom door, once closed, had to be opened from the outside. The sink drain was in need of repair. Definitely not a luxury stay!

I found the room a little dark, even with all the lights on, I noticed that the tap for the shower came off very easily without even trying. I felt that the place needed to be renovated and brought up to a more up-to-date setup.

First time here. Staff was friendly. One bed was really soft the other was rock hard. The tv wasn't working so they fixed it while we were out and left the door open and our stuff was in there .nothing was missing thank goodness. The bed sheets were dirty in spots, the towels in the bathroom some were clean some were not . The frame of the door on the inside was coming off the wall. They don’t have full time staff in the office. In order to get ahold of someone you have to call a number posted on a sign in the window. But they don’t answer the phones. The rooms weren’t that clean. They needed to vacuum and deep clean the rooms.

Great service here. My truck broke down and I didn't get to the motel until almost 1am. I spoke with the proprietor and it was no problem. He met me when I called after arrival and was very understanding and kind. I had a great sleep lol.

Each room is its own unit. We did not have to deal with any noise from the hall or rooms beside us. We didn’t even hear the traffic from the highway. So nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely stay there again even though the shower is a bit awkward if you are tall.

Units are individual buildings, so no noise from neighbouring unit. Checked in easily and room was warm and clean. The units are not fancy, but roomy, well appointed and clean.

Adorable roadside motel in Brandon. Rooms are individual mini chalets with porches. This motel could use an update, but the room was acceptably clean and the beds were comfortable. The best part was the cute chalets.

Room was cold when I arrived. Small electric floor heater on max all night only raised temp in room to 14C. Coffee pot was inoperable, so no morning coffee. If I used the microwave while tv and space heater were on, it would trip breaker and turn off all lights as well. Lucky I spotted breaker panel outside bathroom. Used bathroom in the morning to find floor and sink full of ants. Not dead ones, live ones crawling up walls and floating in toilet.

Little chalet was adorable and kitschy, older and showing its wear, but they have put on fresh coats of paint and given it a fresher, contemporary feel. Fridge was great, clean and cold. Stayed here on a Saturday night of a long weekend and it was nice and quiet. Staff was very pleasant to deal with and restaurant smelled amazingin the morning. Would definitely stay again, especially if we brought a dog with us. Thank you for the great stay!

It was a nice warm night and the hotel manager made sure the A/C was on and cooling the room. We went for a walk around the property and then when coming back to the room we visited with our neighbors on the front deck outside before bedtime. The next morning we had a nice breakfast at the cafe on the property for a reasonable amount and said our goodbyes to the neighbor and off we went...we highly recommend staying here at the little chalet motel

Rooms were very recently upgraded with new flooring and fresh paint. The floors had not been Swept or mopped. Lots of hair, dirty spots on the floor. Towels had stains on them. Air conditioning worked very well. For a cheap place to stay this was perfect.
