Courtyard by Marriott Toledo West

If you pay at the property and pre book, dont worry about not being charged for breakfast even if you include it in your charges. Expedia included breakfast but since i paid at the hotel, i dont get it. Pool was murky / dirty.

Pool needs fixed for the price we spend ..... Or a discounted stay came for my kids birthday party and couldn't swing due to it being freezing

Rented two rooms for us and grandkids. In town for a funeral and the kids were looking forward to the pool that evening that I had confirmed this location had. When we checked in we were told the pool heater was broken. Ok I understand things happen but I looked at previous reviews and the pool has been out of service for a several months. Not acceptable especially when we could see the indoor pool at the Mariott across the parking lot had families having fun. Made a sad day worse.

Courtyard Marriott Toledo West, Room 328: Satisfactory experience. Nine (9) day stay. (No housekeeping service requested.) Clean and quiet, generally restful sleep beyond the late-night/wee-hours activity on Friday/Saturday night(s). Heating/cooling was comfortable. Microwave and mini-fridge worked well. Tub/shower/water temp was perfect. My son found the gym to be roomy and clean, well equipped with a good assortment of machines and free weights. Minor complaints: First night [May 1], Front Desk representative seemed to be annoyed by our late-night check-in. The pillow/linen on one side of one bed was not quite 'fresh'. Moved to the other side of the bed for the remaining nights. Wall hooks. Just a couple of wall hooks somewhere near the closet area for handling the day's wardrobe, repacking a garment bag or while ironing would be VERY helpful. The steam iron worked, but was damaged and it LEAKED badly. The quality of the bathroom tissue (toilet paper) was entirely terrible, a re-occurring insult with each and every bathroom visit. But finally, our Toledo grandchildren (9, 7 and 3) visited us once briefly during our stay and we and their parents watched them for almost an hour in the hotel pool. They had a lot of fun and experienced no ill chemical or other health effects from their swim.

PROS: Stayed here 21 days. Great layout. Good gym. Nice pool. Great lobby layout for meeting up with friends, doing work remotely or just relaxing. Staff is very helpful. Located walking distance to several Restaraunts. CON: Have to request that they clean your room the night before.

Stay was Great bar was excellent! Pool was pretty cool packed but ok lots of kids having fun

We stayed here for a soccer tournament and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice and so was the pool. The staff was friendly at the desk too. The pool was not stocked with towels and I stopped at the desk to ask and was told they’d bring them down. We were there over an hour and no towels. I then had to call 2x because I could not leave my son swimming alone. Towels were finally Brought but I was told Someone stopped by and said no one was in the pool so they didn’t drop towels off when I had been there for over an Hour and not one person stopped by. Even if no one was there the pool still needed stocked with towels.

Best breakfast options over any hotel. Beautiful lobby with full bar. Outside area quaint with plenty of chairs and nice gas fire pits.

This hotel made my summer family trip difficult to enjoy. I ended up checking out early because of the condition of the room. First- the bathroom smelled horrible due to the shower curtain. It had that mold/pee smell. Also, the shower head did not turn on and the bathtub was clogged with hair Second- there was some sort of stain on the pillowcase and headboard of the bed my daughter use. Thirdly- there were balls of hair on the floor I was also informed there is an early check out fee which I found hard to understand why a hotel would charge to leave early. The staff was pleasant but that does not make up for the condition of the room. I was told the manager would contact me about my stay, but this has not happened. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

Room was extremely clean.

2 staff members too busy on their cell phones. Room smelled like urine and no body wash in the shower bottles. Coffee pot didn't work. Floors and carpets were filthy when I reported it upon check out the lady looked at me like I was insane or a bum. $225.00 a night for a dirty room is ridiculous.

Wonderful location, but the rooms lacked cleanliness. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower, silly string on the walls near the entrance door, (from a prior party it appeared), makeup/mascara marks on doors/walls, hair from previous guests found throughout the room, the walls in the bathroom were discolored, and not enough towels.

Clean rooms

When we arrived, there was quite a bit of broken glass near the elevators. Not tiny specks, but some big chunks. it was not removed for over two days. There was no real dining in the hotel. When there was an unknown man knocking on my door and I went to call the front desk, the phone did not work. I managed to call using my cell, and the front desk promised to send security. I am not sure if security ever came. The man eventually left.

Everything was good except they need to clean bathroom better too much hair all around on floor or counter

They bathroom was not clean someone left dirty towels on top of the shower curtain and there was hair in the shower

Hotel was super clean and quiet, it was a nice facility.

Stayed for 5 days. Nice location easy access to and from. Excellent restaurants all around. Well appointed grounds but trash not policed up regularly. Inside common area well maintained and the desk staff were very helpful. Now the maid service needs some work. Cleaned our rooms one time and not well. I had to track them down for coffee and towels. Didn't take all of the trash when they did come. Not happy with the super small refrigerator. And no free breakfast!!

The room was very nice. Only problem we had, was an annoying clicking noise when we went to bed. We tried to find where it was coming from, with no luck. Thought it was in the area around the windows. The only thing we thought it could be is we were on the 3rd floor, and it was VERRY WINDY. We had a terrible time trying to get to sleep. Unfortunately, not a good sleep night.

I didn’t care for the connectivity of the WiFi service connection to the television from my phone. It was frustrating because it kept giving me a message that the service was unavailable.

Well designed aesthetically pleasing functional room with a comfortable bed and large TV.

The pictures of the rooms I saw online exaggerated the size of the rooms. I was surprised when I opened the door and saw how small the room was. They made me join the Bonvoy club to gain access to their WIFI. That's ridiculous. They should offer free breakfast. Nope.. and the breakfast prices were way high. Won't stay there again.

This property was so nice. Everything was clean, the staff was willing to help with anything we asked. We had trouble streaming to the tv from the room. Still not sure what the hang up is since we were connected to wi-fi. We just streamed from our devices the rest of our stay.

We had a great stay, beautiful room and bathrooms

The bed was such that you rolled to the middle. Had to request extra pillows and towels as there weren't enough in the room. Overall, this was adequate for an overnight travel stay.

Challenging stay for us. The facilities were fine -- clean and comfortable. But unfortunately the room next to ours was the setting for a domestic disturbance in the middle of the that was very loud. We felt the hotel was slow to respond to what could have been a scary situation, and I was scared for my family when it sounded like the confrontation next door was suddenly on the verge of getting violent. Fortunately the situation resolves without injuries, but I feel the police were not brought in until far too late. And I did not feel that the hotel did enough to calm our nerves or compensate us for a very unnerving and not at all restful stay. We had driven 12 hours and had many more to go -- this was just supposed to be a place where we could get some peace, quiet and a good night's sleep. I run a small business and I know I would have offered more to guests in our position than a breakfast voucher. Further, the person at the morning registration desk went on an extended monologue about how scared SHE is of Toledo and how bad the crime is there -- which didn't make us feel any better, and won't entice us to stop either at this hotel or the city of Toledo anytime soon.

I was there 3 nights and room was never cleaned or towels changed. I finally called housekeeping and they told me to come to lobby to get clean towels. For the price we were charged per night i would expect room cleaning, or at least towel delivery.

It felt like everything was done on the cheap. Skeleton crew for customer service, who seemed competent and were nice enough, just not enough of them. Constant line at front desk and only one person there. Folks seemed to be having enormously complicated check in or check out problems. Same at breakfast Saturday. No continental breakfast, but only one person to serve heated up “Starbucks” food. Towels in room were bare minimum and cheap. Laundry requires quarters, doesn’t take care, which requires trip to front desk, and see above about lines. Motel 6 level amenities but at Mariott prices. Saying all that, beds were comfortable, and that’s important, which is why I rated it two stars instead of one.

The customer service at the front desk was phenomenal pleasant. Everything about them was great and I will refer the hotel to any of my friends.

Convenient and close to shopping and expressway.

Close to University of Toledo Hospital

Location is great near the expressway, shopping centers , a lot of different eateries

I travel to Toledo several times a year. This is always my go-to place to stay. There are two restaurants within a 2 minute walk and easy access to the expressway.

Quick check in. Clean, big room, comfortable. Great stay. Quiet and close to lots of food options. Quick drive to the zoo and art museum.

Very well appointed hotel located in a good spot for food and easy access to travel. The only thing that we didn't like was the extra small refrigerator. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again.

Clean quiet and great location

The location was perfect for us.Hop off the highway restaurant right there to have dinner in.Didn't even have to get in our car. Hotel rooms were immaculate, very comfortable bed. And the breakfast was pretty good too.

The breakfast options were too limited and the staffing of the kitchen was inadequate. People had to wait in line for 15 minutes to order food, then wait for preparation. That’s absurd!

Extremely quiet. Enjoyed the bistro and being able to have after hours drinks and social time.

No coffee in lobby, had to pay for breakfast and the prices were extremely high. Price for liquor at the bar are ridiculous. Will not stay at a Courtyard by Marriott again.
