We always stay here when we come into town and I was disappointed about the pool. My kids were very excited about swimming and it wasn’t clean. It needed to be shocked. I asked staff on duty and he just blew me off. You shouldn’t advertise having an indoor pool and not clean it.

I only had about an hour and a half driving time to get home but I was just too tired so I stopped in Victoria. It was late or should I say early in the morning and the desk club was not behind the desk. They weren’t the friendliest not even sure he spoke, but I don’t really blame him since I probably woke him up. I got my key card. Went to my truck parked. It got out and managed to lock my keys in my truck. I was so tired I didn’t care. I just went to my room and went to sleep. The next morning, my sweet son came in unlocked the truck for me. I love staying at this particular. Super eight has an indoor pool. The rooms are spacious and clean is always comfortable, and the staff is usually very friendly.

We enjoyed the connected rooms as we had 2 rooms with family. It was clean and polite staff. Breakfast was a bonus as the Texas size waffle made the kids so happy. The pool was well kept and clean. Our 5 year old twins had such a great time. The only negative was the breakfast bar needed to be restocked for our last morning but we made due.

The hot tub and the pool was green un safe to swim. Their was mold on the walls and it was very musty smells. The bed was comfy. Floors were disgusting dead spiders on the floor. Not very much food during breakfast. The juice wasn't working. The room is very unsafe for babies

Clean, friendly, quiet. Enloyed my 2 day stay. IF, i had any upsets, it would be the pool. I THINK it had bleach. However, would i stay here again? ABSOLUTELY. The room was clean and cold and a nice size. The bed was very comfortable.

Not what I expected compared to other Super 8 I've used. Rarely had anyone at service desk. The lady was nice and helpful when there. Be aware it is 2 levels and no elevator. There was dirt or trash under the bed. The TV was difficult to navigate.

this hotel is absolutely disgusting! There is mold on the ac unit, dirty sheets, freezer was dirty, curtains were dirty and it smelled awful. When we asked for a refund because we were checking out and not staying there they said no then said yes but still have yet to receive a refund and said we would need to contact Expedia for a refund. This place is garbage. The indoor pool is completely green as well.

Room itself was clean. I didn't see any roaches in the room. Bed bug free. Pillows were good, bed was good. I did see a roach in the hallway in the first floor, the facilities could use new carpet where there was carpet.

The place is an older hotel with bad renovations. The lobby and hallway are hot and the room we stayed on smelled like mildew and the restroom was full of mold. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. We just left and booked a different hotel

Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed a good night's sleep. Check-in, check out professional and efficient. Grateful for room on ground floor. The cooling/heating unit in room worked very efficiently. Cost was a major factor in the decision to choose this facility. Overall my stay was very satisfactory. Cannot think of any flaws that caught my attention.

I reserved this place because it says 8.8. The TV didn’t work. One light didn’t work. The bed is really cheap and springy and everything is very old. The toilet also didn’t work they had to come and repair it. They changed my room to a different room but then there was no hot water for two days. The people are very nice and accommodating, but the problem is that the hotel is very old. It smells like chlorine because the pool is inside and the doors open. This is a small motel and it’s very old but the people are very nice.

the hotel and room were clean and it's quiet. the only problem that came up was the toilet tank wasnt filling back up. the maintenance came pretty quick and fixed it, but it was just temporary. the tank messed up again. needs some parts replaced in the tank. aside from that, I'd definitely stay here again.

There is an electrical short in the wiring. All night the lights would flicker and dim and go brighter. We slept worried it might catch fire and burn down. I wonder if they did their electrical work to code.

The Room had scrapes along the entire walls. And ac was having trouble cooling the room down took over 3hrs to cool enough to stay in the room.once I woke up at 6am the room was flooded with water from the ac. Had to have the ac off all morning to stop the flooding.

The property was very nice, clean and well taken care of. Staff was also nice. Only problem I had was the Wifi was very weak and almost useless. For me is a problem as I use it a lot. Other than that was all good.

Front desk male was not a nice person, I asked for towels took take a shower he said I had to wait for housekeeping in the morning.. beds were hard pillows were worn out ,, but in all housekeepers were sweet

Customer service was horrible man at counter was rude and very unfriendly the hotel stank of mold and smoke he was smoking at front door and all smoke came into lobby lobby smelled really bad , did not have included breakfast due to real bad smell

My husband and I stayed here because I had a medical procedure the next day and we live in Rockport. Upon entry I was greeted by a smile and hello. The check in was quick and easy. The foyer was welcoming and nicely done. This is not a big fancy hotel with multi levels, but I was pleasantly surprised that all the rooms were inside. I really liked that. Usually two story hotels are open to the parking lot. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. They offered a continental breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, coffee and juices. They also sent texts letting me know if I need anything to just let them know/ I will certainly stay here again if the need arises. I may even stay when there is not a need. Oh and the price was a blessing.

I did not like the breakfast there was nothing hot. I was really looking forward to eating a good hot breakfast. Also, it had a smell to the hotel that was not real pleasant and there was no 24 hour coffee

Property is generic, older, clean, well taken care of. I can't rate it highly because of two drawbacks. 1) access to second floor is poor, no elevator, stairs are narrow and cramped. If you have any baggage at all, stay on first floor. 2) Continental breakfast is bare bones. No eggs (not even boiled), no bacon, no sausage. Poor selection of muffins, no yogurt. Only decent choice is the usual waffle maker.

I liked that staff was friendly, and breakfast was good (waffles, apples, yogurt, grilled cheese, coffee, juices). What I didn't like is the first room we had had mini roaches on the bathtub, curtains were dirty, and room felt muggy. We asked for another room, and they changed us to another one and that was better. Wished breakfast would close at 10am instead of 9am. My daughter has celiac and did not like they had no gluten free alternative breakfast. For the price of the room, it was good overall. I would stay there again.

The room 119 smalled like mildew. 1 of the beds were broke my husband fixed it matresses were super hard. It was extremely hot throughout the night. The pool had so much chlorine my eyes and nose burnt just from being near the pool. Breakfast was waffles and twinkies.
