The Irie Inn

The pros of this property are :it is centrally located, excursions come to the front to pick up, a beautiful beach is close by. Walking distance for most need. The cons are: it is very noisy at night due to a club close by. I wear ear plugs at night to sleep. Not enough hot water when we shower at night. Two out of four of us got the comfy shower. Then, hot water gradually runs off. No toiletry such as travel size shampoo, conditioner, soap were provided. Need to request even for blanket and comforter.

I didn’t know what to expect really. Booked a room based on reviews and web info. Felt it could be an adventure anyway, and it was a stop for our Negril visit. A real pleasure was having our host upgrade our room. A thoughtful gesture and much appreciated. The location is everything there on the hip strip. Pauline was lovely and helpful, and so was our host whom we had the pleasure of meeting. I liked the rustic feel. And ongoing renovations would only make it a desirable accommodation. Thank you, guys.

Was close to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pauline is an amazing host, as are the others at the Irie Inn. This was great for us as we enjoy immersing ourselves into the local scene. If you want to meet the locals and actually experience the area, you won’t be disappointed.
