Got downgraded from a 3-people room to a double room. Got no compensation from the downgrade and was left with no option then to take the double room that was given to us. Would have been nice to atleast get something for the big downgrade it actually was, since we are 3 guys travelling and had to sleep on the floor.

The hotel is centrally located, easily accessible, and in a quiet area. Room cleaning was quick and very good. The reception was very helpful on the first day, and I was very happy. The breakfast was simple and sufficient, but there were many negative aspects to the breakfast experience. Because my 2 years son is not used to breakfast in crowded, I wanted to have it brought to my room, but the staff member rudely prevented me, followed me to my room, and insisted I take the plate. The staff member, who seemed to have received special training, acted the same way the second day, even though I only had yogurt. The third time, I asked for tea in my room and received it. Another staff member intervened and complained to the receptionist, and the staff member similarly reprimanded me without even listening to my explanation. If they aren't happy providing service, they shouldn't be in tourism, but hotels all over the world are a place where you can constantly eat and drink, and guests aren't scolded or chased around like children. Helping families with children is also a humane duty. They even took the water bottle I was drinking from from my table and left. I hope other guests don't experience this.
