Walking distance to beach and restaurants. I was under the impression that parking was included. When we got there I was informed that I hadn't purchased it and there was no parking until end of August. When i booked no parking option was seen. I believe that parking should be included since hotel is not cheap.

Everything was clean and staff was very courteous and friendly. The morning breakfasts were delicious and very satisfying. The pool was always crowded however and the no leaving towels for more than an hour was not enforced. We could not enjoy the pool for that reason as not enough areas to sit.

Rooms were clean and the bar area was good. Reception staff were friendly and informative. Indoor pool was lovely. Only negative was that the ladies working in the spa were extremely rude and arrogant. Put us off booking treatments.

First of all, the hotel is not accessible by car. When we arrived, the front desk suggested us to leave the car in the bus stop and drag all our pieces of luggage 2 blocks to reach the hotel. After the checkin, the front desk gave us completely wrong information about the public parking close by. The hotel has live music till midnight in the amenities and it looked the band was playing inside my room. Asked to the front desk about the music and they mentioned they would lower the volume but never did. If you expect to sleep before midnight, don’t come to this hotel. On the next day, we asked for swimming pool towels, but, of coarse, no one was on the towel station till after 9am. Room service provided only one towel and didn’t fill up the shower soap and it ended in the middle of my shower. Called front desk and they took 35 min to take it, so I was waiting to finish my shower while that. The front desk and people related to the issues didn’t say at least “sorry” for the bad services at any moment and it looked we are the ones bothering them. The hotel says it is a 4 star hotel, but this is an Ibis with larger rooms, lobby and restaurant super decadent. 1st floor rooms have the windows right close to the roofing and, for few times, random people were walking in the roofing looking inside the rooms.

The Jupiter hotel is a lovely hotel located on the beachfront of Praia da Rocha. Very friendly and helpful staff. High standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. We were on half board and the although there was a good range of food options sometimes they were not the tastiest or were lukewarm. Great range of fruit, plenty options of breakfast and always 2 soups and plenty dessert options. The pool was alway immaculate, very comfortable to lie out in or enjoy a drink or food in the shade. A big bar and plenty seating indoors with plenty large screens for watching sport. Good gym and nice looking spa - although we never used it! We would certainly return.

Location is excellent, close to the beach and to the main restaurent and shopping strip. The pool was a bit small and can be crowded, but ok overall. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Only two minor complaints, there is no short term parking to check-in if you are arriving by vehicle. You have to check-in before you enter the garage, a bit inconvenient. Book the garage in advance it, is small and can fill up quickly. The other issue is the elevator, they only have 2 slow elevators so be readyto wait. I used the stairs most of the time to go up and down 5 floors, not a major issue, but you have to be patient.

The hotel was very clean, the location is perfect, the staff is very friendly. The room was a little small for 3 adults( 2 adults and a 17 year old) and the bed was ok, but the mattress was a little hard. I should have booked a bigger room. The breakfast was very good, lots of options and plenty of room. They supply pool and beach towels. You have a safe in the room but you need to get a key for it, not very convenient. All in all we had a great stay and would still recommend it.

Modern and clean hotel, we booked a junior suite which was so spacious and gorgeous! Food options for breakfast were great, bar food lovely. Heated pool with cover so could be used in bad weather. Great location near beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

First room we were given was 'cute' but not as per the pictures or expectations. Having been to this hotel 6 times I was aware there were rooms with better sea views for the money, and also with showers rather than a shower over the bath, difficult to get in to and unexpected. Basically the pictures shown on Expedia for the room type was 'false' advertising as the room we were given was not as per the photos. We upgraded, but discussions with management on the room given initally left a sour taste. Room and view is very important to us hence as we can't guarentee what room in a certain 'category of room' we will be given, sadly we will not be staying at Hotel Jupiter again or recomending to friends and family as we have been doing. Overall, during our time we have spent here, the hotel has gone downhill and isn't as 'special' as it once was. The beds are still comfortable though and most of the staff friendly, but there are other hotels in the area we will be trying out instead.

I was there for a festival and they put us in a 1st floor room with a view of maybe the hotel restaurant’s roof. All we saw was bird crap on the roof. Not very attractive. The staff was excellent though.

Great location for the beach & strip (for restaurants & bars). Hotel itself was very clean with friendly staff. Good restaurant with great breakfast buffet. Room itself was a little dated looking but plenty of wardrobe space, good shower & very comfortable bed with excellent thread count sheets. No sounds from other rooms (we were on the 5th floor). Got an Uber from the airport & private transfer back. All very easy. Would recommend this hotel.

We have travelled a lot, but this hotel is outstanding for customer service. Every single member of staff is friendly, professional and appears to actually care about you. We arrived to the Jupiter Algarve with what we thought, was a confirmed reservation. However, the booking agency, never forwarded our reservation. The shock of this revelation was daunting as we could see the hotel was busy - 98% occupancy. Pedro at reception was calm, reassured us and advised us to have a drink while he sorted things. Next Clara, guest relations manager, and a truly wonderful person advised us that a room was available, unfortunately not the suite we booked, but a room for our 11 day holiday and a generous package. The kindness of these people when we were in shock cannot be overstated. Our room was great, with a nice view. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was brilliant. Such a huge choice. Dinner, too was excellent and the themed nights were superb. Again a huge choice and a fish and seafood lovers dream. As a non fish eater, there was plenty of choice for me. Also vegetarian options. This hotel is very well situated in Praia da Rocha, near everything, beach, restaurants and nightlife nearby. But it is the staff who make this hotel. Thank you, Clara, for a wonderful holiday

Staff are unfriendly, strict and unhelpful. They’re not flexible with bookings, no guest allowed even to use the toilet quickly, stuff was stolen from my room during cleaning when I was having breakfast, no digital safe in room, the one available requires a safe and yet more deposit on top of a €250 they ask you initially when checking in which was not mention when booking. Never staying there again nor do I recommend it. Next door is a much better and friendly hotel, Hotel da Rocha I’d advise to go.

Very difficult to get to the hotel since you need a code to get to the front lobby. No parking available for guests when checking in. No air conditioning in lobby! Property was just ok. Good luck on having the front desk handle any issues with your reservation. Will not stay here again.

The Jupiter Hotel, Algarve was the most spectacular property that we have experienced for a very long time. The view from Room 801 was out of this world, the food was terrific but in particular the staff was the very, very exceptional. From the front desk staff, Parking Manager, restaurant staff, and room managers were spectacular. Meeting the General Manager and a young female team member in the elevator was the reason this property is special. Great leadership produces excellence! Check-in was really good but my only suggestion would be for the hotel to inform guests in how to find the main hotel entrance. We found that difficult due to restricted access while driving and we were not given a password to access the street where the hotel was located at. Otherwise great!!

The hotel was nice, clean and in a spot that was walking distance to Praia do Roche beach, lots of restaurants and shopping. However, the hotel had live music every night on their pool deck until midnight. I had an ocean view room with a balcony, the music was so loud even my ear plugs did not block out the music. For those who want quiet, this hotel is not for you. The nightly noise made my stay not so nice. Suggestion would be for the hotel to have the music in their bar area, which is big enough and would not disturb guests every night!

Excellent location, right in front of the beach and on the strip where tons of stores and restaurants are located. The pool is a big hit for this hotel, my kid loved it. The breakfast buffet is very decent, definitely worth including in your hotel package.

Modern and clean hotel, we booked a junior suite which was so spacious and gorgeous! Food options for breakfast were great, bar food lovely. Heated pool with cover so could be used in bad weather. Great location near beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

The Jupiter hotel is a lovely hotel located on the beachfront of Praia da Rocha. Very friendly and helpful staff. High standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. We were on half board and the although there was a good range of food options sometimes they were not the tastiest or were lukewarm. Great range of fruit, plenty options of breakfast and always 2 soups and plenty dessert options. The pool was alway immaculate, very comfortable to lie out in or enjoy a drink or food in the shade. A big bar and plenty seating indoors with plenty large screens for watching sport. Good gym and nice looking spa - although we never used it! We would certainly return.

Nous avons été ravis du début jusqu’à la fin. L’accueil a été super, la femme qui nous a accueilli parlait très bien français et était très agréable. Notre chambre vue mer était très bien, il est vrai qu’il y a de l’animation dans la rue le soir, mais la fenêtre fermée, ce n’est pas dérangeant, et les réveils vue mer en valent le détour ! Les chambres sont bien équipées, et nettoyage journalier au top. Nous avons pris la formule demi pension, matin comme soir les buffets étaient très fournis et pour tous les goûts et il y avait aussi des soirées à thèmes ce qui fait qu’en une semaine nous avons jamais mangé la même chose. Nous avons adorés l’accueil pendant les repas, l’équipe était très sympathique. Pour la situation l’hôtel se trouve à deux minutes à pied de la plage, localisation idéale. En résumé nous reviendrons avec plaisir, nous avons été enchantés. Merci à tous pour ce travail et cet accueil.

The pool was clean and staff were on hand to help. They helped with questions we had about places we wanted to visit. The location is fantastic! Very central to places to eat, night life, karaoke bars, shops, supermarkets, the beach is literally 2 mins walk and the uber pick up point is right in front of the hotel. Huge selection of food options at breakfast and dinner. The seafood night menu was superb! There is live music by the pool in the evenings as well. Overall 5* definitely. Great location and friendly staff. The breakfast and buffet dinner was a nice amenity and saved a lot of money on dining out. We really enjoyed talking to Nelson who made us feel very welcome and taken care of. My only suggestion to management would be to not charge extra for the first floor “sea view” rooms since it will be disappointing to anyone who gets stuck there. The hotel staff was kind enough to move us up to the 4th floor which has a much better view of the ocean.
