Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich absolut großartig. Direkt vor der Hoteltür Anbindung an der Tram. Auch zu Fuß ist einiges zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, kostenloser Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer. Ein Wassersprender ist auf dem Flur. Die tolle Lage hat ihren Preis. Es ist recht laut, die Fenster schlucken aber einen Großteil. Für den Rest stellt das Hotel Oropax zur Vergügung. Wir waren zufrieden

Had an amazing stay at Metropol. It was right by the Palace of science and culture bldg and old town is just about 15 min walk. very convenient and lots of restaurant , shopping around. hotel staff were excellent, they hold our bags since we arrive early morning and checking was at 2 pm. They had amazing drinking water machine (hot, cold and sparkling) by the elevator and hot water pot, big glass jug were helpful. Very clean hotel, comfy bed and decent size room based on what we paid. Overall great and we would stay next time.. thank you!

Very clean and comfortable hotel in a lively neighborhood. The parking lot is right out front, but is a significant additional expense (~$20/day). If I had to mention a few other slightly annoying things, it'd be the pillows, and you can hear and (kinda) feel the tramlines running in the street out side.

This hotel is in an excellent location within a 5-minute walk of several bus and tram lines. Less than 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel has a closet right by the reception desk where you can store luggage before or after check in or check out. There is a restaurant on site but we did not try it. The hotel room had very bright lighting, which was a nice change from most hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

As a result, we came back to untidy room on the first day, ran out of toilet paper and tissues… The lobby is nice, but the toilets lacked toilet paper and hand dryer was not working. It seems that they are short of staff. Breakfast at the restaurant is pretty good, but food at dinner was unimpressive.

Super fast and friendly check in. Our only complaint was a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom, even with the fan on and drains covered with towels. Earplugs were provided if the street noise bothered you. Location is perfect for those traveling by train.

Vi hadde et rom med to enkeltsenger, og så fort vi tok sengene fra hverandre, så vi masse støv på gulvet. Laken eller dynetrekk hadde også mugg-flekker. Vinduer og fransk balkongdør er for tynne og slipper inn veldig mye støy fra trafikken rett utenfor. Vannet du kan hente ved heisen smakte elendig og ble verre om det ble lunkent. Dusjen ble aldri sittende i en riktig vinkel om du ville la den stå på veggen.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Warschau. Da das erste Zimmer welches wir bekommen haben dreckig war (mehrere Flecken auf dem Bett, Schimmel und Haare in der Dusche) haben wir von einer netten Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption rasch ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Leider war der Zustand dieses Zimmers nicht wirklich besser (Blut und Urinflecken auf dem Matratzenschoner welche man schon beim zurückschlagen der Decke durch das Leintuch gesehen hat und ebenfalls Schimmel in der Dusche). Da wir uns dann nicht nochmal bei der Rezeption melden wollten, haben wir die vier Tage auf Handtüchern geschlafen. Da das alles Dinge sind die man leicht hätte ändern oder austauschen könnte, wird daran hoffentlich in Zukunft etwas gearbeitet. Die Lage ist von den öffentlichen Verkehrmitteln und Sehenswürdigkeiten wirklich toll, aber leider auch extrem laut in der Nacht trotz geschlossenen Fenster.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Der Service war super, alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wesentliches Manko war, dass die Fenster mit einem riesigen Werbebanner behängt waren, das die Sicht total eingeschränkt hat. Dadurch sah es auch bei gutem Wetter grau und diesig aus. Die flutlichtähnliche Beleuchtung des Werbebanners führte darüber hinaus zu starker Lichtbelästigung.

Hej, hotellets läge, städning och frukost var mycket bra. Men hotellets aircondition fungerade inte. Vi fick byta rum två gånger men det var samma problem i alla rum samt i våra vänners rum. Ac startar men gick endast i 20 minuter. Blev otroligt varmt och kvavt och vi sov väldigt dåligt. Var uppe flera gånger på natten för att starta den. Vi pratade med receptionen flera gånger och de sa att de skulle skicka tekniker men det kändes inte riktigt som att de tog våra klagomål på allvar. Hörde dock att det var problem på hela hotellet. Så innan de har åtgärdat detta fel välj ett annat hotell.

But when it was advertised as “city view”, it was truly disappointing that it was impossible to see the view, as a huge advertisementbanner for a mobile phone company was placed on the front of the hotel, so all view from the room was blocked. Nicely located near the "srodmiescie", easy walk to train station and shopping centre, decent buffet breakfast, good size room. This hotel is located in an extremely noisy part of Warszawa, with noise from cars, trams and police sirens penetrating the hotel rooms throughout the night. If you like to get a good night sleep go somewhere else.

Hard pass. Rooms are fine and breakfast good was still very overpriced for what you get. The central location is convenient but is not worth the noise. When the hotel supplies ear plugs, you know you’re in for it. If you land on the wrong side of the building like we did, trams from the road below rattle you awake at all hours and there’s no end to the traffic noise even on the 8th floor. And to make it soooo much worse, your window is used as part of a screen for a massive advertisement and is lit up ALL NIGHT. I kid you not. It’s insanity. We had another stay booked for the following week and cancelled it as soon as we checked in. Run away quickly.

If you live in a city and are used to noise then you will be OK. If you are a light sleeper or not used to a lot of through the night nose then look elsewhere. Traffic and trams are really noisy and the hotel provide ear plugs in every room which admits there is a problem. The hotel booked a taxi to the airport and I was asked for cash and charged double the normal fare. The hotel tried to justify this in a number of ways suggesting they were complicit in what I deem a scam.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. When I had an issue with the toilet, the team immediately upgraded me to a beautiful suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The front desk clerks were always friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast offered plenty of delicious choices each morning, and I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant one evening as well. The female server was attentive, and the carbonara was absolutely delicious. The hotel’s location is ideal—just a short walk to the train station and the old town. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I am not sure whether this is where an envelope disappeared from my bag, I noticed too late and when out of Poland altogether. Might have something to do with a particularly unfriendly gentleman at the front desk who stored my bags for 1/2 a day when I arrived? Or with room service? I guess I'll never find out, but caution with your valuables throughout your stay is advised.

The gentleman at the front desk was fantastic! Very courteous, pleasant and informative! I was able to upgrade my room without any issues! The room was spotless as always during my prior stays here! I have been staying at Metropol since 2024 every time I visit Poland and the consistency of high level service combined with very reasonable prices is the main reason I do not look at other hotels!

Eigentlich das perfekte Hotel für einen Städtetrip: Flughafen S-Bahn direkt vor der Haustür, tolles Frühstück, nettes Personal, sauberes Bad, Kühlschrank…. Allerdings ist man sich über die, hier schon oft erwähnte, Lautstärke der großen Kreuzung wohl sehr bewusst und so findet man auf dem Nachtschrank ein Set Oropax. Leider war bei heißen sommerlichen Temperaturen zusätzlich auch noch die Klimaanlage sehr laut, die nach kurzer Zeit heftig anfing zu rasseln. Für die Ohrstöpsel konnte man also sehr dankbar sein. Was evtl. auch noch ein Problem sein könnte, wenn man ein Zimmer hinter dem großen Fassadenbanner erwischt. Die große Werbefläche lässt wahrscheinlich keinen Blick nach draußen zu und wird in der Nacht hell beleuchtet.

Excelente opción para estar cercas de todo. Tienes el transporte público enfrente de ti, al igual que la estación central de trenes que te conecta sumamente fácil del aeropuerto y a otros destinos. Tienes muchas atracciones y opciones para comer, así como recorridos turísticos. Double bed still comfy and large solid pillows. Room on a small side but we didn’t come here to spend time in the room but to explore the area. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options. Great coffee. Location really, really convenient to most attractions that we came to see. Public transport almost at doorstep but we walked pretty much everywhere. Very close to many restaurants where you can find all kinds of world cuisine.
